Introduction: Yummy Dog Treats
These great treats are irresistible to even the pickiest dog. They are such a hit that I made them for Christmas presents for all the dogs in our neighborhood. So far I haven't found a dog that doesn't just love them.
We tried so many different treats for out dog and she would just hide them. but not these. She loves these and the smell in the house while cooking drives her nuts.

Step 1:
Ingredients
Servings: 12
1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 Cup Quick Rolled Oats
1/3 Cup Peanut Butter
1 med Banana mashed and over ripe
1 Tablespoon Honey
1 Egg
optional: Dried Cranberries
save a bit of egg white for brushing the top if for gifts.
Directions
Mash Banana and add egg, Mix together and add Honey and Peanut Butter until blended.
Mix in flour, & oats.
If desired, add dried cranberries.
roll out on floured surface to about 1/4" thick.
Cut with cookie cutter or slice in squares with Pizza Cutter.
Place on un-greased cookie pan.
or roll out on parchment paper, score with a pizza cutter in squares. After baking they will easily break apart.
Bake at 300° for approx 30 min.
Cookies can be cooked little soft for older dogs. You can leave them out to dry harder if you like.

These make great gifts for your favorite Fur Babies.
The snacks turn out fine if you need to omit the peanut butter.
Banana: Freeze Banana with the peel on when they start getting to turn black.
When ready to use, thaw banana, cut 1 end and squish banana out of peel. They are easier to smash and hold more moisture after freezing.
Frozen Bananas can stay in the freezer for several months. No freezer burn with peel left on.
In this picture I just rolled out the treats onto Parchment Paper, scored with the Pizza Cutter and transferred to the oven.
No pan, just cooked on the rack. When cooked, they just break apart.
If you want a very hard treat, leave them out or place them in a dehydrator.
