Introduction: Zip-Tie Tags

This is a simple way to label all your wires!

For $7.50 at amazon you can get 50 zip-tie tags with assorted colors.

Step 1: Before

I was using masking tape to label the wires which wasn't very effective. They would fall off and leave behind a sticky residue.

Step 2: Making a List

  1. List out all the wires that need labels.
  2. Find someone with better handwriting to label each tag.

Note: I used different colors to distinguish between the upstairs and basement wires.

Step 3: Zip and Clip

Finally zip on each tag to its corresponding wire.

Clip off the extra slack and you're done!
