This is a design for a simple yet effective grenade. It uses vinegar and baking soda to make Co2 which pops the bag.
This is my first Instructable so I hope its alright.

Step 2: Baking Soda
Add some baking soda. You will need to experiment to find the right amount to add
Step 3: Press and Seal Wrap Bag
To keep the vinegar separate from the baking soda, you need to make a small bag out of the press and seal. To do this you need to fold a piece of wrap in half with the sticky side on the inside. Then seal the edge of the wrap to make a pocket that is open on top.
Step 4: Add the Vinegar
Pour the vinegar in to the press and seal bag and seal the top.
Step 5: Assemble the Grenade
Place the vinegar bag into the baking soda bag and close it.
Step 6: Detonate the Grenade
To detonate just squeze the grenade and then chuck it.
Step 7: Video
The video doesn't give it any justice. Usually there is a better delay and the pop sounds louder than it is in the video, but it gives you an idea.
