Introduction: Altoids Triple Speaker System and Case to Hold Stuff

this instructable is how to make a pocket sized speaker system and case to hold money, headphones, etc.

Step 1: Supplies

Supplies:
1 hallmark talking card
2 mini speakers (4 dollars at radioshack)
an altoids can
a soldiering iron and some soldier
an old pair of headphones
tape
1-2 hours depending on experience
tin snips or scissors (optional)
friends to impress with your awesome speaker making skills. (optional)

Step 2: Preppin Headphones

take the old heaphones and cut off the part where the phones split into two and peel back the coating. There will be two wires a copper wire (negative) and a colored wire (positive) make sure not to cut off the end with the jack

Step 3: Soldiering the Speakers

take out the speaker from the hallmark card and find the positive and negative sides (All of the ones i've used have been labeled easily with a + or -)then put a healthy amount of soldier on the ends connect the headphone positve and negative wires to the soldier (globs) and then do the same process with the two mini speakers the red wire is positive and the black is negative (take 15 second breaks in between soldiering the speakers so the plastic doesn't get to hot and melt)

Step 4: Preppin the Tin (optional)

with tin snips or sharp scissors cut a hole in the top of the tin where the hallmark card will go

Step 5: Fillin It

take the excess wire and tape it down the you have room to store your ipods screen wipe some cash a backup charger and your headphones for when you don't want to disturb anyone with the speaker or extra batteries for whatever. it can fit all that although it will be a tighter fit the more cash you put in or whatever.

Step 6: Playin It

hook it up and play some music depending on the quality of speakers you bought I may vary in sound bass and how loud it is.
