Introduction: Bowling Pin Hidden Compartment
Have you ever wanted to hide a small object in plain sight? I doubt anyone has thought of a bowling pin... Have you consider it? We cut out a small hole into the bottom of a bowling pin sealed off with a cap which can barely be noticed.
Step 1: What You Need
What you need: a bowling pin, drill or drill press, penetrating oil, spade bits, bondo, and widdling tools along with a bit of patience!
Step 2: Making the Hole
Drill a hole into the bottom of the pin and once that is done add penetrating oil into the hole to soften the inner wood for widdling out the inside of the pin. (The wood is very hard to work with so use as much oil as needed and patience.)
Step 3: Sealing the Hole
To seal the hole all you need to do is mold the bondo into the shape of a cone with the flat side fitting perfectly in to the open hole of the bowling pin. Once its is dry about 45 minutes later smooth down the sides and edges
