Chocolate Egg With a Hidden Surprise

for these eggs you need:
-reasonable sized eggs
-chocolate (I used some pieces of an easter egg)
-small plastic toys (easter themed but I couldn't find any)
-a sharp knife
-chocolate decorations
-food colouring (optional)

Step 1: Emptying the Egg

Make a hole in the top of the egg and empty the contents, into a bowl.
wash the egg furtherly under the tap.

Step 2: Taking the Top Off the Egg

carefully pull the edges of the egg she'll off so that the top is open quite wide.

Step 3:

add some food colouring into a bowl role the egg shell around until it's covered, stand up in the bowl to dry.

Step 4: Melting the Chocolate

put the chocolate in a bowl, put it in the microwave for 50 seconds then stir reheat again then stir if it still hasn't melted reheat again

Step 5: Adding Chocolate

Get some kitchen roll and wipe the egg shell it should leave a yellow tinted colour on the shell.
spoon the melted chocolate into the egg shell.

Step 6: Finishing

place the toy in the chocolate egg add chocolate decorations, you are now done.
Just
us them in the fridge to harden.

Step 7: Eating

to eat just break the shell open and eat the chocolate or you could just use them as decoration
