You can change/update your email info by going to your Instructables profile and clicking "Settings" then entering your new email in the "Change Email" box and then clicking "Save Email" or you can email service@instructables.com.

Hi, I'm excited to start using this site, but I can't download any instructables. I've verified my email address dozens of times over a few weeks. Every time I try to download plans, I get a pop up asking me to verify my email address. I click the button to send the email, then I go to my email and click on Verify, then I'm told it was successful. But when I go back to instructable.com and click download I'm told I need to verify my email address.

Anyone else have this problem? How do I fix it? Simply verifying my email over and over again is not working.
Thank you!!

We haven't heard of this issue before, but it may be related to logins. Have you logged out since you verified your email?

If not, try logging out and back in - that *may* finalize the verification since it's hung up right now.

Let me know if that doesn't work and we'll try something else!

Question from Ashbygirl There's an excellent Instructable called How to make a Flash Diffuser for Macro Photography. Just what I need but the dimensions and angles on the plan can't be read. Can anyone help please?

You should start a new forum topic to ask this question. I am not sure you will get much of a response on this topic.

I am not sure. You should be able to. Are you still having this problem? Where are you having trouble seeing them?

Hello,
I've been using instructables.com for the last 7 years.
I am facing the same issue over the last few weeks.
Anything I am supposed to change on my browser?
Thanks.

I had the same problem - I was using Internet Explorer 11. When I switched to Edge, all was OK.

Second question... exactly what are all the benefits of a premium membership? How many more classes (other than the free ones) are included with premium? How expensive is a premium membership?

A premium membership allows you to download PDFs of the individual projects. There is no access to additional content with such a membership.

How soon is a feature-worthy Instructable featured after publishing?

Reply 8 weeks ago

It can be anywhere from a few minutes or a few years. Featuring is subjective to the person(s) who are looking at the Instructables as they come in. A lot of different people on staff with different perspectives view Instructables, and sometimes the feature-worthiness of a project may be overlooked. We try to catch as many as we can, but sometimes things slip through the cracks.

Hello everyone. I've been a huge fan of this site for many years and I was hoping I could get some advice from the community.

I have a project but I'm not entirely sure what I should do specifically so I was wondering if someone could tell me where I might be able to post pics & a description of what I'm wanting to do to get some ideas and feedback.

If there isn't a place to post anything anywhere on this site, could someone point me out to a site I'd be able to do this?

Thank you for your help. If this is not an appropriate place to post this, please let me know and I'll remove/move it.

What would be great, though, is some instruction on how to SEARCH for an instructible. When I perform a search, any instructible with any of the terms of my search wil come up when all I want to come up are those which match ALL of my search terms! If I search for peanut butter sandwich I don't want to see peanut-shaped Christmas ornaments and butter churning and tuna sandwiches. I still don't know how to make my searches more specific.

Since it is a topic created by someone above user level I hope someone up there will read here....
https://www.instructables.com/topics/Will-the-supp...
Up there I tried to sum only the most vital things requested and ignored for years.
If you guys don't want to close this section due to no one actually helping people anymore it is time to act on old promises.

That button is to download the instructions you see in your web browser as a PDF file. That feature is only available to pro members.

However, as a regular member you can view all of the instructions on this site online for free.

Where is the link to the "Forums" for this site? Upper left portion of the pages I see a link for "Community", and when I go to that page there are three tabs: "Topics, Questions and Tips"...is that the forums?
Thank you for your time and assistance.
