i have a schematic that says i need #16 wire to make an inductor, how do i find that size, what is the translation in mm? if anyone finds some could they give me a link please. thankyou

Look for "16 UWG" or "16 gauge" wire (both are somewhat-more-common terms than #16). You should be able to find it lots of places: newark.com, mouser.com, etc.
