4inch scroll saw blades...? Answered

Hi,i am looking for 4inch blades for my Dremel scrollsaw, i know i can purchase them online but they are not cheap so i am looking for an alternative blade that will do the same job only for a little less money.... I have tried bucket loads of sites but have had no joy so far, if there is anyone out there who can help it would be much appreciated...

                                                                                      Thank you
                                                                                       Tim Hollywood.

Thanks, Hey WOW I didn't see that, or even just a simple acknowledgement that someone took some personal trouble to help you might be nice.

says modern scroll saw blades are 5 inch so you might be stuck.

I don't know what sort of fixing the dremmel uses - If the end of the blade is flat then you could just break off an inch from a standard blade.

If it has a small peg through it you may be stuck although you could try heating the broken end to red hot then re-drill a small hole and put a heavy duty paperclip thgough to make the pin.

If you buy Dremel you are usually stuck with buying their accessories as well.
In the old days the used tools that would fit other machines but that has changed.
