4th gen iPod classic hack? Answered

I'm wondering if anyone else has tried this flash memory hack ... I've successfully converted my old 4th gen over, and have a nice library of music on there now, except every time I listen to music it freezes after the first song, and I have to do a hard reset to bring me back to ethe menu. Anyone else experience this issue or have any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks!

You don't say which hack you're talking about so I can't speak to it directly. I can tell you though, if you are still using iTunes to manage your music, iTunes could very well be causing your problem.
The sneaky little devils at Apple will revise iTunes frequently and amongst those revisions are a few lines that smack down many of the hacks that non-compliant users install on their iPods/iPhones etc.
My suggestion would be to dump iTunes and switch to a good open source music manager such as RhythmBox or one of the many others available for free.
