Drone issue

I've built a quadcopter. I connected the battery and the mission planner. All the colors are flashing on the pixhawk and mission planner keeps saying 'initializing APM'. I've never faced this issue before. Suddenly came up. How do I solve it?

Turnigy 9X not working?

I have a Mode 2 Turnigy 9X transmitter for my quad-copter (3DRobotics APM 2.6) and it worked almost perfectly at first for a $90 controller. After not using it for a while, I tried using my quad-copter and it wouldn't arm (start). I plugged it into my PC to check the transmitter settings in the APM program and the sticks do not work anymore. The left stick does not show movement values at all and the right stick (throttle) does not go to the lowest value (~900) anymore, only to the highest. The left stick is what is used to start the quad, which is why it wouldn't start in the first place. Why would the sticks suddenly stop working? Also, about a week earlier, a screw fell out of the inside of the transmitter (heard it rattling inside). Would this have anything to do with it?

How can i increase amperes ? Answered

I am making a college project for science fair, and i have made a generator with DC motor of 24v, 0.33 amp and 7.92 watt. When i rotate the motor it gives 24-27 volt of dc voltage. Now i want to convert that DC voltage into AC by connecting a converter of 12 volt, 7 amp. I have made i rectifier which converts the 24 dc into 12 dc voltage, but when  the converter does not start. Can you please tell me what may be the faults? If the apms  are less, can i increase the amps? If the amps are 0.33 can i increase them to 7 amps?

Drone not turning on? Answered

I have an Ardupilot 2.6 from 3DRobotics on their quad frame. I am using their power distribution board now instead of using one that I made myself. Before I changed the power board, my drone was working perfectly. Now when I try to arm it (enable the motors) it does not work. The light on the APM 2.6 blinks red when disarmed and is solid red when armed. It only blinks when I try to arm it. I am using a Turnigy 9x transmitter with a turnigy RX. I have tried replacing the RX and it does the same thing. I have a separate battery pack for the receiver because it seemed like it was not getting enough power with the 3DRobotics power board. Could it be a problem with the transmitter?

Treadmill Motor Control

I have a Horizon T101-04 treadmill that has a control problem. The motor is definitely good. I suspect that the motor control board is good, and the control panel board is bad. The control will not reset or go into diagnostic mode. I want to replace either the control panel board or the entire control system. The motor is 90V DC. For amperage, the motor label says "19A S6 25%" which has no meaning that I understand, other than perhaps that the maximum amperage is 19. The label says "APMS" rather than "AMPS", and I wonder if the "S6" is supposed to be "SC" for "stall current." All of the characters on the label are very legible. To replace the entire set of controls, I can use an industrial DC motor control, but how much horsepower does the control actually need to be able to provide? I don't think that the one on the treadmill actually provides 19A, and is probably close to 1 HP or so in its capability.  To replace the control panel with something else and keep the existing motor control, what do I need? Do I need some type of complex driver circuit? Does it need feed back from tach sensor to do a good job of keeping the speed steady?  If it will work well, I want a simple control set up like a KB Electronics KBMD-240D to which I will add a safety cut-off switch with a lanyard.
