I have been looking at some firework instructables for the Fourth and I noticed that there were no sparkler bomb istructables. What?! I find this strange that you can find them on other sites, but not this site, which is centered around instructions. I can't post one because the ones that I made, due to lack of instructions, did not explode loudly and work properly. I have seen plenty of working ones that a friend made and they work perfectly: you can see the shockwave. The only impressive one I made shot a jet of green flame 10 or so feet in the air, but it's not suppost to do that. Sparkler bombs: simple and easy to make, yet not on Instructables. This is an improved version of lemonie's Instructable Big explosion, bang, fireball, so hoorah to him for it. But any way, my idea is that I wanted to control the exact moment it went off, so this brought me to my first idea, just put black powder and a fuse in the lid of a butane can. Well this didn't work, I just got a jet of flame, plenty cool, but no fireball or musroom cloud. I realized I lacked the essential ingrediants of compression and rapid combustion. So I made this. It's literally a firing mortar for the can, the idea is a non-explosive shell (a coffee can filled with cement with a large bean can set inside to make an orofice) filled with an explosive, with the can of butane in the middle, and a cement stepping stone on top. The idea is that the explosive, when detonated, implodes the can, thus pressurizing it, then ignites the butane, thus decompressing it, A.K.A BOOM. The stepping stone by this point would have come of, thus allowing the expanding hot gasses to disperse. For saftey, the entire contraption would be put in hole in the ground, with no green grass growing all around. The reason I haven't tested it is that I had a very close shave with the cops for the butane can incendierary grenade. Disclaimer, I am not liable for what you do with this information, nor am I responsable for any damage to person or property, in other words, it's your problem if you kill your self. If you haven't yet noticed why this works like an A bomb, what in tarnation are you doing on this site? But, for credebility, I'll say. The main method of detonating a fission weapon is the implosion method. Prior to detonation a nuclear weapon consists of one or more pieces of weapon-grade fissionable material which are subcritical in configuration.The implosion method is when one sphere of material is compressed (through an explosion) to make it supercritical, which leads to a chain reaction, which results in the destruction of the atom, leading too duh, a big explosion.

I am somewhat new to Arduino, and I wanted to create a project, but don't know where to start.The project I am looking to create is a bomb-diffuse game that uses a 4 digit 7 segment display that will count down from a variable amount of seconds.It will be activated by a 2-position key switch, and deactivated by a code. (10 input buttons).Once four buttons are pressed, it needs to check the order and the numbers pressed and subtract five seconds if wrong. I may also want it to beep every second once it reaches 30 seconds, and flash a red LED every second from start.Any pointers, suggestions, or solutions would be greatly appreciated. It's fung time to do something about those bloo videos that stu people are carpet bombing Instructables with. ! Please limit the possibility of posting an unlimited amount of instructables/slideshows/videos per 24 hour period. One (1) per 24 hours are quite enough for anyone that are actually doing something good and not just carpet bombing/spamming crappy videos from Metacafe to get some money. As a temporary solution maybe just banning Metacafe-videos would help remove those obnoxious spammers. Or can you also get payed by videos on Youtube/Google? Talking in friendly manner to these guys doesn't really help. It only fixes (possibly) the problem with one guy, but there will just come more and more of them all the time. Alright what the image depicts is a plastic bottle with two holes in its cap for two wires. The holes are then caulked hot glued etc. to be waterproof. Then you open up the bottle and fill up with water almost to top [farther than in picture]. Then you hook up wires to a battery. I have decided to make a contest to see who can truly make a smoke bomb that will explode on contact with the ground no madder what part of it hits the ground. it will be graded on - ingenuity - ease to make - artistic beauty (yes it does count [just not as much]) - best instructions - safest (this grading spec will only be used if there is a tie for first place) - creativity and finally - how destructive it is you have until the end of August to turn in instructables to the destructables group

Heres my idea: Take a cheap dollarstore or walmart watch with an alarm. wire a capacitor where the little speaker/beeper thing it would store up a small charge and then have it arc or a fuse to light it. so you set the alarm for the time you want it to go off, it goes off, builds a charge, arcs over the fuse and lights the roman candle, firecrackers, whatever you want. would this work? are there any ways of boosting the power of the arc or making the fuse light easier?

It can be molded into any shape then you put a fuse in it and light it and it turns to a big cloud of smoke and you can make it from stuff at your local walmart

Does anyone know of any under the sink materials to make small explosives out of. I have looked on the internet and found kn03 and all that stuff and stump remover and stuff but I can't get that now. I am looking for an answer like, Mix some alcohol with bleach, put it on a towel to dry. Then mix it with (fill in blank) and let it dry again. The cut the towel and it is explosive powder.  I know that recipe is fake but that is the kind of thing I am looking for. I am not going to hurt somebody. I am just interested in pyro stuff and have been trying a few things but it is kind of hard to do it right. Please help! 

Ok, basically, these guys claimed to have part-built our treehouse. We are 100% certain that they didn't, our neighbour helpfully pointed a cctv camera at it, and has been there since it's initial frame construction. Now, they won't let us in our tree house... they've padlocked it... It's on private land, our neighbours who likes us (me and mates, he doesn't mind us there...) Our parents have spoken to theirs, and they said to our parents that they don't give a sh** about our treeshack. It is between our three yards, mine (counts as me + friends), neighbour (owner), gits who took it over... The only way to end this, as we have thought, is to end it. We want to get it gone quickly, so as not to attract attention while we're there. We have a garage full of airsoft pyrotechnics and fireworks. Our neighbour doesn't mind us there with pyro's either... Our plan: Pop smoke all around perimiter, especially near camera so as to frame them.... fill a cardboard box with fireforks (roman candles and rockets) and fill with cotton wool... Light 1 via fuse leaning out of box. It's a 10 sec fuse, so we can jump from ladder and run... BOOM. Turn up 3 mins later to hopefully see the 'owners' and be like "what the hell did you do??" There are MANY problems with this... 1) tree damage 2)shrapnel 3)police / fire service attention 4)parents 0_o 5)them killing us (not literally...) WE WANT TO KNOW: Is this theasable? should we just saw it in half? How can we get rid of it?? Thanks for anything, and don't call us terrorists :p

A 19 year old female M.I.T. student was arrested at gunpoint after entering Boston's Logan International Airport with what authorities claim was "a fake bomb" strapped to her chest, according to wire reports. I am curious about adding a ratio of sodium nitrate to sugar and some additives (maybe sulfur) to make smoke bombs as a hobby. I am not interested in making explosives or Rockets just smoke bombs. I want to know before even doing this is it Illegal?
