Hey guys! Well, here is my most recent replica, the M14 (T44). It is, by far, one of my favorite rifle types, as is seen by that fact that it is my third attempt at this rifle type (M14/M21). This gun turned out better than I had expected... even though it was originally intended to be a M21. I am still working on the conversion process, but as it stand now, it is a M14/T44. With its 20 rd. magazine, sturdy body and stock, nice sight set, and improved stock, this thing is probably one of my best guns, when it comes to my replicas at least. Features: It looks just like a M14/T44 Good range: 40 - 70 ft. Magazine lock included Sturdy body and stock Large capacity magazine (if you use rods) 20 -30 Really comfortable Great pin-pull Can be easily modded into a M21, just slap a scope on it Enjoy, and tell me what you think. -The Red Book of Westmarch

For anyone that has or is thinking of building my M14. For those that have built it, you probably may have notice that the barrel at the end does go off at a bit of angle. Luckily I happen to rebuilding it again today and that problem has been fixed. As shown in the pictures, you simply take out the green rods on both sides and then push the orange connectors forward, add a rubber band and the problem is solved. I will include this pictures in the instructions https://www.instructables.com/id/Knex-M14-Instructions-1/. Thanks to those that left a birthday comment in my 21st birthday forum topic, really appreciate it.

It looks like someone is trying to sell my instructable on ebay:http://cgi.ebay.com/How-to-make-a-solar-iPod-iPhone-charger_W0QQitemZ350209932098QQcmdZViewItemQQptZOther_MP3_Player_Accessories?hash=item518a237b42&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12|66%3A2|39%3A1|72%3A1205|240%3A1318|301%3A0|293%3A1|294%3A50I have to say that's pretty weak. It's not like they even took the time to build one and modify it or improve it or anything.

Do capacitors like these:http://cgi.ebay.com/20KV-1000PF-High-Voltage-Ceramic-Disc-Capacitors-Y5T_W0QQitemZ360099674640QQcmdZViewItemQQptZBI_Electronic_Components?hash=item360099674640&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2|65%3A15|39%3A1|240%3A1318work in applications like voltage multipliers, marx generators, etc. Or are they meant for something else? They seem like a really good deal and I just don't want to buy a ton of them to fail on me in like 2 seconds.

After looking around at some sellers on ebay, we came across this one. It seems like a good price, if it's decent, but neither one of us know a lot about bass pickups (we're taking it to a third party to have it wired). So will this be worth getting? Are there any tell-tale signs that suggest it is or isn't any good?

I want these so badly, and I live relatively close (about 300 miles away).http://cgi.ebay.com/Qty-46-Pulse-Capacitors-7000v-230uF_W0QQitemZ200268515465QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item200268515465&_trkparms=39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3A15|240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14You can make one heck of a capacitor bank, releasing almost half a megawatt in a split second. My only problems:I don't have 1600 dollars, crycry. These things are so large that if I were to line them up side by side (so that the thinnest parts create the overall thickness) it would be 25 feet long, 14 inches wide, and almost a yard tall. THE POWER BOGGLES THE MINDI'm so mad, if I was an adult I'd buy these in a heart beat... sigh... deal of a life time... I hope not...and best of all, they are PULSE CAPACITORSthoughts? comments?

Runeblader97! i choose your gun because its low enough price, pretty good fps, high capacity and it was different to all the other entries, being a lever action. it was also nice to see a different airsoft gun that wasnt really modern. you will recieve your patch and a 5* rating on all your instructables!

Okay, I've made air rifles before but this is a little more complicated... This one is a replica of a M14 (kinda). It's going to be powered on C02 cartridges and all the insides are going to be hid. So how it's going to work, you insert a C02 cartridge and pull a lever and that will push the C02 into a pipe that has an airtight seal and will pop the foil on the cartridge. From there the air will flow to a "holding" chamber, on the end of the "holding" chamber there will be a button valve (http://tinyurl.com/4h3us6c), from the button valve the air will flow to a second "holding" chamber were there will be a home made piston type valve (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=No3nI07mlQo). Then you cock the bolt and a magazine or a single chamber (haven't decided yet) and a bullet type ammunition will be loaded in. The ammo has two parts (like a real one) the actual projectile and the casing, in the back of the casing there will be an air tight seal. A "tube" will be inserted when the bolt is pushed forward, and the seal will be made. So when you pull the trigger is pulled the piston will release the air from the second chamber and shoot the bullet out the barrel. So the shooting proses would cock the bolt, insert the bullet, close the bolt, press the button valve to release the "airlock" type chamber, and the pull the chamber. So what I need to know is how big do the two chambers have to be, what kind of velocity would I be able to achieve, and is this a good idea? Thanks for the help, Nick
