Battery circuit for Panasonic EY6431 EY9230

Does anyone have the circuit for these batteries please ? There is a temp overload (bimetalic type) and also a two diode (? zener) + resistor in series that I presume identifies the pack (voltage) to the charger.  I have burnt out pack that I have new cells to rebuild but not certain about the connection / values for those parts. Thanks

how can i attach an antenna (or a cable as antenna) to this cordless phone base?

Theres ANT1, ANT1_SHORT and ANT1_SGND. I thought maybe solder a cable into ANT1 only and it should work. I need to extend my phones range by a couple of meters (it says 50mts but it doesnt even gets to the 5 mts. probably due to the walls) thanks! i did find this schematics: https://philips.encompass.com/shop/model_research_docs/?file=/MSC/sm/KXTGD224N.pdf in my search. Its the TG220 one. I probably would just solder and try it but i fear i might damage it as i got no replacements

Broken Panasonic Lumix FX-01

Who knows, could make a good instructable. My camera turned on unbeknownst to me, and I leaned on it (in my jacket pocket), which bent the lens to the side. They want $111 to repair it and i am so annoyed that I would rather sell it for $50 to someone on Instructables for the greater good of some new invention. Or who knows, maybe you can repair it. Right now the camera is at Panasonic and I'd want you to pay for shipping from their place to you. Let me know if you're interested! If you have questions about the camera please search the net for specs etc. :)

Panasonic Palmcorder and Webcamera combined into one?

Hello, I'm slightly new to this site but I love the heck out of it. I was wondering if it would be possible to remove the lens out of an old (from like 1995) panasonic palmcorder and put it into a webcam. I'm into brickfilming and I'm getting tired of my webcam's crappy foucus. Here is a picture of the lens from the palmcorder and all it's connections. Can anyone help me get a "pancake" brush less DC motor working ?

The motor worked when it was in the VCR.  Now I took it out and have no clue how to get it running.  The driver circuit has two main parts, an AN3826NK (which is a 28 pin IC) and a PUA 3228, along with various capacitors and what I believe is a hall effect sensor (part marked as "tf35213f3").  The brand of the VCR is Panasonic, but I don't have a model #.   Can it be run again?

I'd like to "hack" it. I'm assuming it's a firmware hack. Not sure what would be involved, but it could be a fun project. However, i'm having trouble finding enough information online to get started. 24V Panasonic rotary hammer drill - battery and wires got hot (drill didn't) and drill stopped working. Answered

I have a 24V Panasonic rotary hammer drill, model EY6813. It came with two 3.0 amp-hr NiMh batteries, both of which had a problem with one of the contacts almost welding itself to the contact in the drill, and also in the charger. I stopped using those batteries. Now, using an external 7.0 amp-hr NiCd, it's worked fine until recently. The drill began to intermittently shut-off, then quit working altogether. I then noticed that the battery, the wire running to the drill, and the contacts in the drill were hot (battery was very warm, the wires & contacts were VERY hot). Any ideas about the problems with the NiMh or NiCd? Could it be the drill and not the batteries? The hot batteries/wires occurred after minimal runtime, so I don't think its a matter of overdrawing the battery, but I'm just not sure. The vent holes on the drill are not blocked.

Speaker problem - surround sound not working

Hi guysI have a Panasonic SC-HT 990 system with four speakers (minus the centre and subwoofer). The subwoofer works perfectly, however, if i plug in the four floor speakers (2 front, 2 surround) only one will work. But, if I plug them into the same two speaker-wire ports in the main box, all four work. However, they wouldn't work as proper surround sound. Why is this? Why don't they work separated. I would imagine there is a problem with the connectors at the back of the main box, but can't see any issuesThanks

How much power, amps, and voltage would a Panasonic plasma's USB port supply and would it run a computer fan?

I would like to run two small computer tower fans off of the two USB ports on a Panasonic TCP50ST30 plasma TV. I am planning on recessing the tv into the wall so it is not visible from the side and I was going to use the two fans mounted in the wall directly behind the television to draw the heat the tv makes out of the cavity. Is this possible? Each fan uses 1.32 W at 0.11 A with a voltage range of 4- 13 VDC. If not is there any other cost efficient suggestions.

Very slow rotation (1rotation/hr) electric motor? Answered

I am  looking to build an electronically controlled time lapse pan device for my camera. I want to be able to rotate the camera for a specifically timed time lapse (e.g 90 degrees every 20 minutes of shooting). My problem is finding an electric motor that is slow enough RPM to create this slow of a motion... Right now I would need a motor capable of going down to about 1 rotation in 6 hours... at the very least 1 rotation/hr.  So, do those motors even exist? Right now I am thinking the best solution would be to have a stepper motor, connected to a gearbox (right now that would be the inside of a kitchen timer, somehow), that would allow a very slow rotation of 1 axis. However, as this is a mobile build, power constraints are really an issue. I would like to be able to shoot for 6 hours max continually, and I dont know if that could be done without a very low power motor.... If I did the stepper motor connected to a gearbox, do you think that would affect the linearity of the time lapses? E.g would the stepping motion of the motor create a choppy vid?  I have looked into the kitchen timer timelapse but have yet to find a timer that can hold up my relatively light Panasonic FZ-100 without locking up...

Live chassis on a TV? Answered

I was given a TV, (Panasonic TC-1485); it directs the sound to the side rather than to the front and it's not very clear. I was going to take the wires from the internal speaker and solder them to a 3.5 jack socket so that I could use it with headphones. I read today that until recently TVs were 'live chassis', does this mean it would be dangerous to wire up headphones or have I misunderstood? Thank you.

Li-ion drill charger?

Hi So I've got a cordless panasonic drill for which the battery charger has been lost. I've been googlin' for a DIY way to make my own li-ion charger for the battery pack, but since these batteries seems pretty sensitive about the way they're charged, and none of the "how to:s" have focused on drill-packs (this one is 14,4v, 3,3Ah) I thought I'd ask the good people here on instructables for a pointer or two. :)

how to test LOTS and LOTS of batteries?

We have 420 panasonic 2800mAH 3.7V 18650 batteries, which we plan to use in a solar car. I was wondering if anyone is aware of how to many of these at a time. Many of the commercial "capacity tester 18650" online appear to only test a cell at a time. This would take way too long. We need to ensure the cells we are connecting together are well-matched in terms of ESR, capacity, leakage, etc. So is there any solution that exists to accomplish this task?

How can I use a digital camera to obtain DSLR looking footage?

I recently bought a new video camera, the Panasonic HC-V750. Don't get me wrong, its an amazing camera and I love it, but I made the mistake of spending 500 bucks on this instead of a DSLR. I am trying to make a short film and want it to look professional. However, I know that this is almost always achieved using a DSLR and nifty editing/lighting techniques. I have the editing and lighting techniques down, but is there any way to adjust my video camera so that I can get DSLR-like quality? Like adjusting shutter or something? I know that the advantages of a DSLR are their large sensors and supreme ability to capture light using these sensors. Can I achieve this, at least a little, with my video camera? I can adjust the white balance, shutter, iris, and focus, on my camera. Any links and/or help is greatly appreciated!

how would i make an electromagnetic switch for the camcorder zoom?

Hi, lots of new camcorders no longer come with an old fashioned remote, but sometimes only with a wifi option. I would like to have/make a switch that sits on top of the camcorder to hold the zoom control temporarily in the right (telemode) or left (wide mode) position, basically what you do if you are using your fingers on the camcorder. Wired would be fine, old fashioned remote controlled even better. Your ideas would be very appreciated. BTW camcorder is Panasonic V520 and a Canon Legria sf200

Can you help me find an affordable downstream video keying system?

I have an old Panasonic video switcher which only has a text based graphics system, much like what you would find on some of the digital camcorders.  I am wondering if there is a software or hardware solution that isn't overly expensive (say under roughly $500) that can display graphics such as targa or photoshop files with an alpha layer to display over the video.  This would have to be completely downstream of my board, and not run through it.
