I port forwarded but tcp is still closed?

I am trying to port forward for a minecraft server with an apple airport router, I used airport utility's port mapping page, put  25565 in both the tcp and udp boxes, my static internal ip in the ip box, double checked it was spelled right, then clicked ok and update. After I used simple port checker and it said the tcp was still closed, and the server did not work. If possible I would not like to use hamachi. Does anyone know what might be wrong? Before you ask I am completely positive I spelled everything right

SMTP to send email directly to a client

I have a project idea to create a BTRD, or Beer Theft Reporting Device. (Yeah, I need to come up with a more creative name... :P) The idea is to use an ESP32 microcontroller connected to an accelerometer and 6 pressure sensors mounted to a board, on top of which sits a six-pack. I do see a few problems though. hopefully wifi can penetrate the cold metal coffin without too much loss in signal. (I'm afraid the fridge may end up functioning like a faraday cage...)Assuming that isn't going to be a problem, I have been googling around trying to figure out if it would be possible to send automated emails from this device to inform of potential theft. Since I am not concerned about receiving emails at all, It seems overkill to have to use SMTP to send the mail I want to send to some server first, which then itself forwards the email on over through the internet over to a client. Is it possible to simply send the SMTP email directly to the recipient? I mean, if this is a product that I sell, then I would not want the end user to have to bother too much with configuring the device too much.

TCPIP Hardware chip & network attatck

Hi everyone.... I like ethernet related project with Arduino and Arduino Ethernet shield.  So now I want to open you a network relate problem. As you know or not Arduino Ethernet shield is made from TCPIP Hardware chip (W5100 of Wiznet Company) and other component. Recently I heard that TCPIP Hardware stack (with Hardware chip) is more stronger than S/W stack from networking attack such as flooding, spoofing and so on. But I want to know technical basis why Hardware tcpip chip is "Unattackable" from networking attack. If there is a anyone have a knowledge about networking via internet... please share your knowldege or your thinking.

Connect Arduino UNO to a Laser with TCP/IP or RS232 protocol

Hi everyone, I am trying to comunicate with a Laser via ethernet or RS232 but I realy don't find enough information in internet to make my sketch. For TCP/IP, I am using a ENC28J60.CLK ---> D8SO ---> D12SCK --->D13SI --->D11CS --->D10VCC --->3,3vGND --->GNDYou will find attached the manual for TCP/IP comunications that the laser company gave me.Finaly for RS232, I tried to use the TTL-RS232 module (MAX3232) to comunicate but I was not able to make it works. Arduino 2560 and Sparkfun's GSM 5100b Cellular Shield HELP

Hello Everyone, I am using an Arduino 2560 and a GSM cellular shield I purchased at Sparkfun (http://www.sparkfun.com/products/9607). My main goal is to access a website using TCP/IP. How do I get RPi flask server to control Arduino over wifi?

I have a RPi web server running flask and a wifi enabled Arduino in my garage to monitor and control various items. I need a way to control the Arduino from the RPi-hosted web page. I am just stumped at how to do this over ethernet/wifi/TCP/IP. Any suggestions and help is greatly appreciated!

ESP8266 MEMORY ADDRESS

Hallo guys I have ESP8266 programmed to operate at MODBUS TCP / IP and PLC (LSIS) connected to router by Ethernet MODBUS. I made connection between them successfully (using P2P service found in PLC) through router, but the connection produce error. P2P service found to make connection between LSIS devices and other devices. This service requires inter the read and write memory address for ESP8266 with condition that the address must has 5 digit. Knowing that I use simple diode connection on GPIO pin-14. The problem is when I search for ESP8266 memory map addresses, I find it (0x60000360) 8 digit and this return error from PLC side. Please can any one help me?

Can someone Explain to Me how Wifi Antenna Extenders work? Answered

Could someone help explain to me How wifi antenna extenders work? To me It seems like you would be able to send packets to the network, but it wouldn't be able to send them back, making the TCP/IP Handshake Incomplete.I am Talking about having a USB wifi Adapter with a Pringles can antenna or something like this: (https://www.instructables.com/id/Uni-Directional-WIFI-Range-Extender/), and using it to connect to a Starbucks or something.I get that the metal reflects the signal, so that it is strengthened, and can be pointed towards something, What I Don't get is how once you send the signal, how does the signal get back to you when your out of the routers range?The pic is a rendition of what I think should happen, while using a wifi-extender antenna trying to connect to another place's internet that would usually be out-of-range.

NodeMCU to NodeMCU communication

Dear All,I am really a newbie here playing with two NodeMCUs. I started out with basics and after a while I stepped into my actual project. The project is to display toilet status indicator. My plan is to pick up the data from PIR sensor and feed it to one NodeMCU and have another NodeMCU process the data on the other end of the room and display the status on and I2c 16 x 2 LCD. I was able to connect the PIR and LCD onto one NodeMCU and test it and things were fine. Looking for adjustable accordion arm

I recently had a great idea for a completely useless, yet hilarious project for me to work on, but I am stuck on a single piece.The end result is a joke device that uses one of those accordion, spring loaded boxing gloves controlled over USB (the idea came about in a discussion over the universal wish to punch idiots over TCP/IP). To understand what this is, you'll have to think slapstick comedy and saturday morning cartoons (of the Wile E. Coyote variety). It sort of looks like this but replace the lamb with a boxing glove, and when extended looks like this: XXXXXXXX. Imagine the coyote opening a door that he expects the Road Runner to be behind, and out pops a boxing glove on an accordion arm that hits him in the face, making those little roadrunners circle his head.I suppose I could make one out of some material (metal, plastic, wood?) but I don't have much in the way of fabrication facilities in my new apartment. The best outcome would be if I could get such an arm off of an existing device.Sure other things could work (a piston for example), but the look of this project is very important and an accordion arm is a requirement to that end.Any idea on how to go about building/obtaining such a thing? I can't even figure out what to use as search terms.

Why doesn't my internet work properly on my laptop but it works fine on my PC?

Hey, can someone please help me? I have this problem and its really frustrating. My problem is..When I connect to the internet it usually says I have internet connection but Google Chrome says "The web page cant be loaded" and after a few minutes my internet connection goes down and says I have no internet access. So I reconnect to the internet and the same thing happens, I repeat the process and a few times it works but only for a few minutes and then it happens again. (The internet works perfectly fine on other laptops and phones but its just mine for some reason). I asked this on another site and someone told me to go to "My Computer" and then right click it, then go manage, then to click on "Device Manager" and then click on "Network Adapters" and to double click on each of the Intel (R) things there. Then to click on the power manager tab and untick the box that is ticked. I have also done this: 1. Click Start, go to control panel. 2. Click Network and Internet. 3. Click Networking and Sharing Center. 4. Click Change adapter settings 5. Find your wireless adapter, right click it, and click Properties. 6. Scroll down to Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), and double click it. 7. Click the radio button that says "Use the following DNS server addresses:" 8. Put 8.8.8.8 for the Preferred DNS server, and 8.8.4.4 for the Alternate DNS server. 9. Click OK and test your internet. Can anyone please help me?

Tor/VPN Router [How To Auto-Connect VPN After Tor Connected at Boot]

Dear Instructables Family,Hope you are well and healthy. My name is Enes and i am living in Istanbul. As you know in my country everything is being enforced by brute force to people. Tor, Wikipedia, Imgur, Pastebin, NordVPN, ProtonVPN, Privateinternetacces, PureVPN, etc. many website and service is blocked. There is no "privacy" in my country. For this reason i am looking for a "full privacy solution" for me and who is living same fate since years. I read many article and project but i couldn't believe they are "full privacy solution". Today i encountered with a "Raspberry Pi VPN server project" and i liked it. I have one (RPI 3B) and want to make a full privacy solution with VPN and Tor (with obfs4 bridges it is working but they are blocking everyday our bridges and we need to find another bridges every day). I created a Tor router with RPI and it is working good (little bit slow but i don't have any choice). But i want to add more security and privacy to this router. For example i have a VPN membership but i can not use it because it is heavily blocked. I want to do something but i couldn't find how can i make. Let me explain.My Onion AP is working for now good and when i connect as a client from a computer, i can access https://check.torproject.org website and everything is OK.My VPN membership supports TCP and UDP OpenVPN. It has TCP and UDP .ovpn files with a lots of country. I installed Open VPN on Raspberry and configured it for auto-connect at boot. It is working, when i reboot Raspberry, it connects automatically. But i have a problem.This VPN firm is heavily blocked and i can't use it. I tried ikev2, L2TP, Obfuscated Servers, Onion Servers, Double Servers and Standalone Servers of this VPN but there is no luck. Then i tried something. I connected Tor Router from computer and tried to connect this VPN firm. I could connect, it worked. Because i connected first Tor router and then VPN.My current schema is this:RPI ---> Internet comes from eth0 ---> Tor ----> Share Tor Connection by wlan0To Do:RPI ---> Internet comes from eth0 ---> First Connection Tor (I don't want to share Tor connection immediately because i need to connect VPN with Tor, if i share immediately by iptables, there is no Tor connection and i can't connect VPN) ---> Then connect VPN ---> Share Tor/VPN internet by wlan0I searched on forums, blogs and websites lots of. OpenVPN is using tun0 interface. I have three (3) questions. I am stucked here.1) How can RPI connect VPN with Tor without forward Tor connection? (Connect VPN with Tor and then share Tor/VPN. 2) When i achieved these steps how can i test Tor/VPN connection from a computer (client)?
