Is it possible to make a Adruino Audio Player? I think its possible processing-wise, but how would I add extra memory (microSD)?

I want to make a machine that, when a button is pressed, one of the Seinfeld bass lines plays I imagine adruino would work with this but im not sure how is the possible? plausible? feasible? is there a better way to do it?

I am looking for suggestions for building a wood chip / dust level detector for the collection can of a cyclone vacuum. I have tried using uv detectors, they get covered in fine dust and become in-effective. I am thinking of using the ultrasonic sensor. My objective is to detect the level of chips and dust collected in the debris can, and sounding an alarm when the can gets to the full point. Any help on this subject would be appreciated. I am new to working with these Adruino controllers and not real familiar with writing the Sketches for this. Thanks Don

I have connected red from fan to NO relay contact, red from 12v psu to C(common) contact. The black from the fan goes direct to black-12v of psu. after connecting it how to code on arduino?

Hi everybody ! I have an Ikea DIODER that I want to drive with my arduino UNO. I'm quite noob with electronics and i'm looking for some help ;) When I opened one of the for lamp, I saw 4 spots marked R, G, B and M (or W?). If I test voltage between the M spot and another one, I can read "14V". So, I'll have to use the original power supply of the dioder because arduino can only deliver 5V max, am I right ? My main interrogation is, how will I use the 0 -> 5V (with analogWrite() on pmw port) to get 0 -> 14V to power lamps. I thougth to use some NPN transistor but I'm not sure this will be a great idea... If some of you guys have some tips for me, you will make my day ! PS : as french guy, I'm sorry in advance for my bad english... :s

After fixing most of the issues on cheap laser cutter I am about to do the next step and install an Arduino board to get rid of the dongle and crappy controller. I also would like to put this in the form of a nice Instructable so others can upgrade their machines as well. But during my research I noticed that several different versions of the controller, laser power supply and control panel exist. If you are interested in upgrading your machine so you can use Inkscape directly and no longer need a dongle and crappy software: Post a pic of your laser power supply (including a clear pic of the connection terminals), a pic of your control panel (both from the outside and the bottom), let me know if you already have safety switches for the lid and water flow. Everything posted here in time will be included in the Instructable if it is different from my machine. Once the Ible is finnished you will get detailed instructions on what you need, how to program the Arduino, get the plugins working in Inkscape and how to do your first real engravings and cuttings on the new setup after calibrating everything. Here is a video showing raster and vector engraving followed by cutting the piece out - what more can I ask for if only spare parts are used? ;) https://youtu.be/GqFTPMBchyQ

Hi I need help to write a program for an Arduino to allow it to function as a Solar Differential Controller (SDC). An SDC simultaneously reads the temperature of two different elements,1) the water inside the thermal storage tank and 2) the inside of the solar collector. When the sun rises in the morning it begins to heat up the inside of the collector. When the SDC senses that the collector is a few degrees warmer than the storage tank it signals a circulation pump to turn on to circulate water from the tank, through the collectors and back to the tank. When the sun starts to set in the evening and the collector cools to within a few degrees of the storage tank, it signals the pump to shut off. So basicly I need the Arduino mega 2560 to read the temperature from two DS18B20 digital temperature probes. When one of the probes shows a reading 5oC higher than the other, the Arduino changes an output to high. When the higher probe's reading drops to within 5oC of the lower one, the Arduino changes the output back to low. I don't even know where to start really, this programming is way over my head. Any help would be appreciated. This program is for a large project I'm working on for this site and any help you give me will be credited to you. Thanks.

I purchased the Arduino Basic Kit a number of years ago. The directions say to go to Autodesk.com/Adruino to get started, but that page doesn't exist anymore. Does anyone have a PDF of the project directions for the parts included with the kit? Thanks.

So as most of you know, I'm working on making a hydroxy booster for my car. That's not too hard. I'd like to build some sort of microcontroller-device-thingy that would regulate how much amperage the generator draws, based on the load required by the car, so as not to draw too much. Is this something for adruino or..? I'm kind of clueless on this one so.... PLZ HELP!! I'm fairly unaccomplished in programing, but I could learn something if it's simple enough.

Hello, everyone ! I have 6 invite codes for the Arduino Create BETA platform and I am giving them away ! How to get one ? Simply, write down a comment When I will get my code ? I will you a personal message to send me an E-mail address, so I can send you an Invite to Arduino Create. GOOD LUCK ! THE EVENT IS OVER, CAUSE THERE ARE NO MORE INVITES LEFT !!!

Hello! I'm totally new to electronics and adruino's. Please forgive me for stupid questions. I have an idea how to make dawn simulator with LEDs. I plan to use a lot of them, 300-500 from first draft. LED will be in white, yellow and red color, 5mm. I thought to use 12V, ???A adapter (maybe form 12V halogen lights). LED will be connected in serial and parallel combination. So, my stupid questions are: Can arduino work with 12V? How many V's A's can arduino handle? I need those answers for start… If you can help, please do :) Thank you!

Hello Instructablers! I have a problem. I am a 17 years old dude, that loves making movies and photos. Recently I bought an arduino to expand my knowledge a bit, but it turns out its pretty hard to make anything with it as I am a mechanic. My idea was to build a quadcopter or anything that can fly, with these must-have features: 1.IT HAS TO BE CAPABLE OF STEADY FLYING. 2.IT HAS TO HAVE ENOUGH POWER TO CARRY A GO PRO AROUND WHILE FLYING. So, as I am a beginner in adruino and programming, I would need some tips, maybe from someone that built their own arduino flying..thing. I would like you to help me a bit. If someone could lend me the whole script, and tell me exactly what I need to get, it would be awesome!! thanks!

I see a lot of step by steps showing how to build a simple vu meter but I am looking to do something a little different. I am currently building a new desk and along the back side of the desk I want to install a row of rgb led's. I would like to set them up so that the led's change color from green to red in increments based on the volume level associated to a certian frequency. so the far left of the desk responds to low frequency and the far right would be high. I think this would be pretty cool effect but need some help connecting the dots. I am hoping there may be some adruino programing availibe to do the signal proccesing and then for each signal I would just need individual volume meters? the only other thing missing is where to incorporate the rgb settings.

Hi! I'm new to electronics and want to create my own simple Bluetooth device. Basically I want to create a device with a screen that I can control using an app on a phone. I'm planning on using a 3-axis accelerometer too, just to learn more about how those work and play around with some tilt options. I'm working with a friend that is an EE student, but we still need some advice to get started. Basically I want to use a phone app to update photos or videos displayed on the device. Also, I'd like to create a small program where I can tilt the device and move a ball on the screen. Right now I know I need a Bluetooth module, a screen, and a 3-axis accelerometer but I have no clue which kind (there are so many choices! especially for the Bluetooth modules!). We have somebody that will do the programming for us, so we just need some direction as far as the electronics go. Also, should I use something like adruino, or should we look for more experienced engineers to design it for us. We'd rather learn how to do it ourselves though, and we don't have enough money to pay for a professional. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I'm starting to get very interested in electronics as a hobby, and would love to learn how to start doing these things! Regards, Patrick
