Does anyone think they can make a well working replica for this gun made out of K'Nex? I myself could probably make this, but due to a recent fire, I'm low on K'Nex, so I'd like to know if anybody is capable of doing that. This was the only picture I was able to find so sorry if it's a bit unclear.

I liked the TV-B-Gone Instructable, it was entertaining and informative. Now I wonder if one could "snipe" one's neighbors' stereo set while they are playing Slipknot full blast at 3 am? (Calling the cops only does so much, I'd rather hit a button and go back to sleep.) I only have the most vague understanding of EMP technology, is that a possible/plausible implement for a solution? Or is there something else?

I'm (hopefully) having a nerf war for my 13th. To make it fair everyone gets a maverick, but I want uses for my larger weapons. Here's a list of them: Vulcan, Longstrike, Magstrike, Spectre and Recon. It is (also hopefully) going to take place in a hall. There are 10 people coming.

It appears that the button to turn on has stopped working. Could this be bad batteries? I have continued to push the button and the unit might come on and work fine then I have to push the button several times to get it to turn off? Now it will not come on at all. Thought we would try opening it up, with your great instructions, and replace the batteries and see if it makes a difference. My unit is a little different than the one in the picture. Where do we buy the batteries? Thank you.

I was wondering about some boards that use the USB B type of connectors. Is it possible for me to use them with a USB miniB type of connector if I rework the board to the miniB pinout, or is there something about the USB B connector that makes it better for these boards? One of the boards in question happens to be the Arduino Duemilanove. Does anyone know if the miniB would retain the same functionality as the USB B type connector?

Hello! So I want to make a TV-B-Gone, I can't buy the kit, the question is: what do I need to program a microcontroller with the respective firmware? Or instead of programming by myself, is there any other components and etc to replace the ATTINY85V-10-PU from the project? Thanks!

Do you HAVE to have a socket for an 8 pin microcontroller or can you just solder it directly to the board? Answered
I'm trying to put together a Tv-B-Gone with the Microcontroller from ladyada but they don't send along the socket (I had the rest of the parts already from other projects and just needed the microcontroller and socket) and its not at Radioshack either. So I'm wondering how important that piece is? Can't I just solder it directly to the wires? Or is there something specific that I'm failing to understand? In a dire need to learn, thanks.

Another day of good matches at the 2010 FIFA world cup. The group B games were as good as the first games here are the results. Game 1 Korea republic 2- Greece 0 LEE Jung Soo 7th minute Park Ji Sung 52nd minute Game 2 Argentina 1- Nigeria 0 Heinze 6th minute Personal thoughts on game 1: I didn't get to see the two goals but I foud it an amazing coincidence that they were both scored 7 minutes into each half. Maybe the coach had planned this. If that is true I really want to see Korea's next match. It seemed to me that Greece wasn't playing very nicely as they constantly kept shouting at each other. I personally think this is why they lost. Good luck to both teams and I hope Greece plays nicer next time. Personal thoughts on game 2: This game i was able to watch except for the first few minutes. I missied the goal but I saw it in the Highlights. I found this game much more enthusiastic than the last one. Mainly because every time Aregentina commited a foul they apollagized to the Player. This is something that is needed in a lot of games. It's a great sign of good sportsman ship. Nigeria had an amazing defense. It will be hard to score when playing against them. I think all these teams still have a chance to enter the finals. Good luck to you all. Amazing games! Please Comment on the teams and games.

Me and cj81499 did a testing session to see which gun is better. T.B.A.P ( Killer~SafeCracker) oodammo pistol ( Owen-Mon-82397) We did 6 tests to see which is better using 2 #64's for T.B.A.P and 1 for oodammo pistol. The results were: Range: oodammo pistol Has better range with the bands we were using ( #64's) Piercing power (Red rod muzzle loaded): T.B.A.P has better piercing power in 2 pieces of paper. Strength: As in body strength. They both broke on the 2nd drop. Trigger guard, magazines and chain all broke. Height: Pretty much range but with opposing gravity. Oodammo pistol has better height by about 5 feet. Accuracy: T.B.A.P has better accuracy with NYPA's shot Vs. cj81499's shot with the Oodammo pistol. Target was a soda can from 10 feet (approximately) Rapid fire capability: Oodammo pistol won with cj81499's hand at pulling back the ram Vs NYPA's hand. Well the score is this T.B.A.P: 2 and a draw Oodammo pistol 3 and a draw Comment on the bottom. EDIT: these results are on a unstable scale. As DJ radio and Killer~SafeCracker pointed out, somebody should build BOTH guns and see what they area t a stable hand. But as you notice we pointed out that it was our different hands.

I want a folding workbench for my birthday from my parents, I don't have enough room at uni for a proper workbench so this will have to do until I get my own house. I've read some reviews of workbenches available at the moment and a lot get rubbish reviews. The better of them are the B&D; WM825, though even that has mixed reviews. Does anyone have any advice on which to get or can recommend a different brand? I'm looking for one for less than £70.

Hey there! This is my review of the Sipriani Rifle V3.0 (FT210).First, lets start with physical appearance.Strength - 8.0. Pretty sturdy.Stock - 8.0. This stock is good, but personally I like the V2's stock better. Handle - 8.0 Pretty good handle, the blue rods dig into your hand though.Scope - 8.0. Nothing new, but it gives you an idea of where the bullet's going.Overall, 8.0Now, for performance.Range - 10.0. This things shoots far. With wings, even farther.Accuracy - 9.0 The long barrel makes it very accurate. Even more with wingsEase of firing - 6.0 It's pretty hard to load this, to be honest. You have to pull back the rubber bands a very long distance, have to clip off half the scope, then put the bullet on. By the way - I was using 2 #64 rubber bands.Fun to shoot with - 9.0 Defiantly one of my most favorite guns I've ever built.Overall - 8.5Final Score - 8.3 Man, I feel like I underrated this. This is a very good gun. I would recommend this to anyone. If my calculations are incorrect, please correct me! Thanks for reading this review! - Owen-mon-82397

So I have taken apart an old MADCATZ Wireless GameCube controller that broke a few years ago and i want to use a component or two in a project im working on.so far, i have desoldered and removed one of the two joysticks, but im not familiar with how to wire it to my Raspberry PI B+ board. The diagram i drew up is the underside of the component showing the 6 pins underneath. I intend to add two buttons, which i already understand how to connect.

I just got an arduino (the arduino is a fake off ebay, didnt know at the time.) It runs off of a ATMEGA8A-PU.
