Hey i have a slight problem. im usually the pro with computers but these cards bother me. i has a P.O.S graphics card with not crossfire or anything good (i got it just to use my computer till i saved up for good one) the i have this $300 card with just about everything. i was wondering if i could use one card for one monitor and one card for another. i dont think i can but im hoping.

I have portal for the computer but I cant play it because I dont have a good enough graphics card. Is there a way that I can get around this without buying a new graphics card? preferably a free way please.

I have this new Ati all in wonder card right? And it has two tuners built into it, one is supposed to be for TV which is what I have it hooked up to right now, and the other for FM radio which I haven't tried yet. But is there a good chance that they are both regular tuners and I could use them for dual recording?

I've just pushed out another release which has a pretty cool new feature, stats cards!  We've collated a bunch of what we think are some interesting stats on members, like their view count, comment count, feature percentage, etc.; and those are now shown on the member's page as a quick overview of their activity on Instructables.  This was inspired by the awesome Top Trumps-style card game created by Jayefuu with gmjhowe, Lithium Rain, Kiteman, Yokozuna, KentsOkay and Lemonie. This release also changes how we serve up images.  This is an under-the-hood change so you should not see any difference, but if you do notice missing images anywhere, PM me or one of the other site admins and let us know. Can anyone tell me how I can made an audio crads like the ones you can purchase in stores. I would like to be able to purchase the circuit board and speker and then record my own messages for my grandchildren books. I'm in a real estate associated business and am looking for some help in designing and then building a business card holder. The plastic ones that are ubiquitous in office supply stores are expensive and generic. I'm wanting it to consist of wood and basically "slide" together to hold the cards. I bought this micro sd card from best buy for my phone. it was supposed to be a 4gb card while the only space is one tenth of a mb, is there any way for me to fix this. the card is the one on the right

I bought an Atheros wireless-N mini PCI-E card for an HP DV7 series laptop, to replace the Broadcom wireless-G card, however, when installed, I just get a bios error "unsupported network card". I removed it and restarted with the original card and it works fine. I trhen tried installing the card live, and it detected it and installed the software, but then BSOD (my first one for Windows 7 actually), so I swapped back to the original card again. I then installed the card in the secondary bay, live, and it installed the drivers successfully, but when swapped with the original card again (the wires don't reach to the other bay), it failed to boot again. How can I replace the original card?

I would like to tether a cheap digital camera. The problem is I don't know which one - I'm watching on ebay for a madly cheap camera (I've seen loads go where they're fine except for a stuck zoom - like 6Mp cameras for about £3 - when every time I've looked at a stuck zoom a bit of twisting and brute force will get it back in to the body - and the project I want it for doesn't need to zoom!). Problem with doing this is that by the time I've found a cheap camera with 2 minutes to go, it tends to take a lot longer to that to figure out whether you can tether it. And even then you're normally limited to the provided software, I'd like to be able to write my own. So - can anyone think of a way to take an old SD card and somehow - I don't know - solder wires to the insides of the contacts maybe - and then somehow get those wires into another old SD card and plug it into the card-reader attached to a PC so that you can read the images without unplugging the "card" from the camera?

Ive been trying to buy a lab pass for a game Im addicted to. I click the one month option, enter in the info, but it says my credit or debit card is declined! Im using a $50 dollar American Express gift card, but whenever I enter the information it says its declined. So i check on the website, it says everytime I tried (and failed) to use it, it deducts $1. Same for my Visa Gift Card. My mom opened a paypal account for me, but whenever I try it, it says the amount is too great for the card. (its $5.95 ) Does anyone have anyway to fix this?

I've recently gotten a free PC (a HP Evo D510) which I intend to do some moderate networked gaming on.  My plan was to buy a cheap AGP or PCI graphics card, but I'm unsure what to go with (ATI/nVidia, AGP/PCI). I've only had experience with PCI-E cards so far. From what I've read, AGP is faster than PCI.  I assume this is correct?  Looking at NewEgg, it would seem that AGP ATI cards are ludicrously better than AGP nVidia cards.  Is this the case?  The computer to be upgraded has 2 Gib of RAM and a 2.4 Ghz P4.  I'm anticipating the porcessor to be a bottleneck, along with slow bus speeds.  I suppose my main question here is what GPU should I roll with?  I'd like to spend less that $75, but that's flexible to a certain extent.  Anyways, thanks in advance.

Hi. I have an Iphone 5s with an AT&T SIM card. I will be going to sleep away camp at the end of this month. At camp, they allow you to keep your phones, but the head of the camp takes your SIM card so that you cannot call, text, or use the internet while you are at camp. This is going to be a big problem for me this summer because a lot is going on in my life at the moment, and I really need to keep in touch. I heard that it is possible to duplicate your SIM card. If this is true, I will sneak the duplicate card in. Ideally, I would like to be able to text/imessage, and be able to connect to the internet. I want to keep my same phone number. Additionally, once I leave camp, I would like to put my old SIM card in, as well as on field trip days while I am there (they give your SIM cards back for an hour on trip days.) I feel like this plan could definitely work if I execute it properly. I already have a plan to make sure no body finds out, so that part is settled. However, I read somewhere that switching between SIM cards can really screw up your phone. And b.) I heard that doing this is illegal and that doing this means AT&T will shut my phone service off permanently. I don't wan that to happen. If someone could answer my questions or tell me how to go about doing this, that would be great. Thx  

I have  a SD card 4G - I need to format it to FAT16 to use in a  Sharp XEA-207  Cash Register, A friend tells me I have to go back to last century OP systems or DOS (to the dawn of so called civilisation) Is there a way out - I can recognise the head and point of a nail but that is about it - can follow instructions - please be kind enough to come down to my level - a, b, c, d,,,1, 2, 3 etc. - Deepest gratitude.

Im working on a project that needs to connect to a tv, so i bought a video card with a port labeled s-video. its a 4 pin mini din connection, but i dont know how i am supposed to wire it up to connect to the tv, either through s video or preferably through composite video (the yellow plug). all of my internet searches label the pins as Y ground C ground Y and C Y being luminance and c being chrominance or something like that. i dont know a thing about this connection standard and any help would be greatly appreciated in helping me configure this to operate by connecting to the composite video connection on the TV. thanks in advance,               zack247.

Im trying to make a bracelet which incorporates my London Oyster Card (RFID travel card) so i can just swipe my wrist and not faff about with wallets or pockets etc but I am having a few issues. The basic design is going to be simple and effective. I will have a length of regular guage wire around the wrist, secured by a single wire connector/ terminal block (see photo). It will prob be a earth wire, as it is a fancy colour. The RFID will be placed inside the plastic connector and hot glued end end to secure it and keep out the elements. The RFID's aeriel wire will be inside the earth wire heatshrink, it will be a loop of wire and can be as thick as it needs to be. I keep having problems though, I cant get the chip out of the card in one piece. I have been using nail varnish remover but with mixed results.   When/if I do get the RFID chip out of the card, i will need to solder a new aerial and I am unsure about the process. Does the length/gauge of wire matter for the function of the RFID? im thinking about its frequency. Will it need to be ceramic covered wire to avoid shorts? Has anyone put a contactless travel card into other things? Or has any experience dealing with this sort of area? I would very much appreciate any help or advice.

I've just purchased a Indiana Jones Vintage (beat up looking) Felt Fedora, AND ITS FREAKIN AWESOME!!! Anyone know how to do some cool hat tricks? ie, rolling it about, tossing in air to put it on etc... Also, I know here is one (could do with some improvement), but I feel a sudden urge to know how to cheat at cards. Any help?

What do you think about the feasibility of a credit card sized crystal radio? (Fits inside a wallet) Some possible i though so far are... A simple pcb with a diode, and a capacitor and a coil wrapped(protected by duct tape) around it. The antenna has to be tied to a hole on a corner. Or it is coiled to the card, ready to be unwrapped. The ear piece can either be external... Or can be glued to the card itself, but you must put the card near you ear... Instead of a winded coil, maybe it can be part of the pcb design itself... and to tune it, you unhook a beady wire and place it in the holes placed in a interval. What do you think? Any more ideas? Hi, i play this card game "Mtg" and my fun decks are huge! (100-900 cards). Ive been tring to make my own card shoe / dispenser (a bit like those Casino Poker holders) which can hold lots of cards, but also be flexible enough to accomodate lots of cards, or less as the deck gets played out etc. I tried with a bottle of wine Cardboard box container, but am not sure how to make it stronger, or what do do. Hear me out before you think about commenting. Ive got my LG R405 here, and i really like it, i added line out to it and use my sub with it. its all good, but some songs (whether the sub is plugged in or not) make my sound card cut out. (IE it'll make some white noise then stop producing sound) i have to skip the song before my sound will come back online. I was wondering what could i do to fix this? im guessing its something with the capacitors, being SMD caps, they might not be able to let the sound control chip handle the big changes in sound frequencies or something, im not too sure. dont try and tell me its impossible to resolve this issue. it is not a software problem, it is a hardware problem. i need to upgrade something, be it the capacitors, or maybe the amount of current supplied to the sound driver chip. if its capacitors, where should i be upgrading them? on the outputs or the input voltage?

I was looking online to see about getting a new video card to replace the 256mb one in my system. My budget is less than $75 and i found these at OTV's site I live in Saskatoon, so there is no problem with shipping costs. which one has more bang for the buck? A while ago my wife got one of those singing Hallmark greeting cards. (This particular one played the Law and Order theme song) Well after a while it no longer played the song. I opened it up and found that there is a circuit board inside with a 3v button cell battery attached to it. I removed the board and the speaker and the battery and I'm pretty sure that I could attach wires to the two contact points and connect them to batteries that would complete the circuit and allow the theme song to play again. What I want to know is if I need to take any special consideration when putting in a new battery(s). I was going to try to just put two AA batteries in series (1.5v +1.5v =3v, right?) but I don't actually know anything about electronics and so I wanted to ask here if there were any resistors needed or if there were any differences between the button cell and the AA batteries that would require me to do something different.While we're on the topic of these cards I just thought of a neat project. Design some sort of holder for the circuit boards that would allow them to act as sort of an interchangeable cartridge. Basically detach the speaker wires and battery contacts from various boards out of various cards and design some sort of holder with contacts for the speaker and power source at the appropriate points and be able to change out the different boards. Not really practical but sounds like fun.I just thought of yet another question!Would there be anyway to hook the board up to some sort of audio cable (in place of the speaker maybe) so that I could plug these into a computer and record the song off of the board in a digital format. (Again not very practical but sounds like fun.)Anyway, this is my first post here and I'm sorry if it's a bit jumbled but I don't have a very organized mind and sometimes it's hard to put my ideas down in a succinct manner. I have a wire between the positive side of B1 and the negative side of B2 and wires coming off the open ends. I tried connecting the batteries from the spot where the negative side of the button cell was to the silver rectangle thinking that that would complete the circuit and make music. That didn't work. Then I noticed that the positive connection for the circuit was actually where the clip that secured the battery was before I removed it and that the positive and negative sides of the battery were going through a capacitor before touching the final contact. so I tried placing the positive wire up on the positive contact and then placing a wire from the positive contact to the final contact but that also didn't work. I don't have any solder and have been using electrical tape to secure the wires. The wires are a fairly thin (I don't know the gauge) stranded copper. I'm not sure if the wires aren't making good contact or if I'm just doing something wrong.

END ZONE The Card Game End Zone is a fun card game using strategy while choosing a way to win. Here's one of the most interesting facts about End Zone: Only one deck is needed to play. Each deck must have exactly 100 cards. At the bottom is the Blackout card, or End Zone card. The blackout card has no picture. Each deck must have one blackout card. Each blackout card is placed at the bottom of the deck and must be shown to each player before being placed there. The whole point of the game is to get your opponent to draw the blackout card. But there is a catch. At no time can you look through the deck to see where the blackout card is. Any cards that were played are sent to the bottom of the deck at the end of the controller's turn unless stated otherwise. This is where strategy comes in. You will have to remember how many cards were already played in order to make an accurate guess where the blackout card is. Here are the basic steps to playing. 1.Each player draws three cards a the beginning of the game. Because there is only one deck, you would have to synchronize between draws meaning that you would draw a card, then your opponent would draw a card, then you would draw your second card, and so on. This only makes it fair. When it is your turn: 1.Draw one cards. 2.You must play one card. You are allowed to activate a card during the first turn. 3.Discard two cards `to the bottom of the deck. 4.End turn. When it is your opponents turn: 1.Opponent draws two cards. 2.If you have a card that has a lightning bolt in the top corner, you can play it after your opponent draws. 3.Opponent makes move. Once again, cards with a lightning bolt can be played. 4.Opponent discards two cards. 5.Opponent ends turn.
