This is to spread the word about green clubs. They are a great way to get together with people and talk and do green things that help our planet. They are also a great way to raise awareness to people about our what could be destroyed earth. Great places to have them are libraries, schools, and even meeting places like local coffee shops. Please help start green clubs. P.S. I am not a Hippie or a tree-hugger.

My father and I make model trains. In one of our buildings i want to make it like a club, with colour changing lights(hoping to use a 2 leg RGB. Im still new to designing circuits and wondering if there is some-one out there who could help me make a circuit that would allow me to control the speed in which the LED will change colours and also have a on/off switch. If there anyone out there who can help me feel free to e-mail me on here or at email@example.com. Cheers Daniel

Hey all, I was just wondering whether anyone did any bands or music clubs. If so, what? I play Guitar to Grade 4, and I am in the School Jazz Band, but nothing else =/ Does anyone do anything similar? Also, if you are, what grade are you at instruments, or do you just not do them?

Hey everyone, I am in high school, and I was just thinking it would be quite fun to have an Instructables club in our high school. I was just wondering if I have permission from the Instructables staff to start a club, because of all the copywright and whatnot. I was thinking of having annual contests, and the winners could get an Instructables Leatherman or something like that. I was also thinking of having the joined users from my school make a group to gather all of our ideas. Maybe the contestant in the contests could join our group and submit their Instructable, and the leaders of our club could decide a winner. Is this is good idea? And do I have permission? Suggestions are always welcome! Oh yea, when everyone sees use walking around in Robot-T-shirts, who wouldn't want to join? -Thanks -Brennn10

Some of you know, some of you don't, but I started a new job today, at a local new high school. Instructables came up in my interview, and as a result we are starting an Instructables club, starting Thursday lunchtime. First project will be my paper catapult, but we may start encouraging them to publish their own projects over the next few weeks. Weeee....

Entertainments, show for a new pub. The music will be calm, suitable for people talks and relaxation. I am thinking about dancers show, saxo and violin playing. Waitress will be dressed up in an erotic way. So i need some ideas how to sell dishes for clients in an interesting way.

I'm president of a club at my college. For the most part we just sit around at watch cartoons but as a college club there are certain things we have to do. Like raise money for charity. If we don't do these things, we lose our club accreditation. Most of the members do nothing to help out, even when I wave the threat of no longer being a club above them. They want all sorts of benefits and extras and things but are unwilling to put forth the time to earn them. How can I get these lazy students to care about the club and help out?

With some friends at high school we have started a radio club. We are currently just streaming over the internet. I'm interested to know how complicated it actually is to broadcast over the FM radio. I know its possibly to receive a low power broadcast much easier but I still don't know how expensive that would be and difficult to acquire. I'm sure its a bit out of reach but i do know other high schools broadcast.

Are you, or your child(ren), a member of DIY.org? If so, what do you think of it? Is it much of a community? How many badges have you earned? How many projects did you do to earn a badge? What do you think of the range of badges? Any other comments? Do you know of any similar sites?

It is being imported from Germany special for anyone that may want the high caffeine drink Club-Mate. For those familiar with it from overseas, you may post as to your like/dislikes of the beverage and what you think about it overall. This link was the first I got wind of this and forgot to mention it before or forgot that I DID mention it before?

Ok. so i have 2 ideas brewing in my head, but of course, i don't have the knowledge to do them :) ....which is why i have instructables. ok, anyways, so i have a very BASIC knowledge about LED's and such, and so my first idea is to make a strobe light with about 10 led's (in a nice reflective casing) and i guess a programmed timer, BUT i have absolutely NO idea how to program micro-controller's or w/e....so idk if that's the best option, SO i then had an idea of just getting some old lamps from goodwill ( the best ) with some new Fluorescent Light Bulbs and somehow putting a timer on it for every like .6 seconds or something......i'm not sure how complicated this is...and that's why i am asking. so which one would give better results, and which one would be easier to do (if even possible). (or any other solution for strobe light) and what exactly do i need and how do i do it...ha. i know...everyone hates these questions from newbs trying to make a huge thing lol. JUST STICK TO THE SIMPLE, NEWB!!! (that was what i would imagine a comment sounding like :)

There are many places on the net where I can ask a question and get answers, however it helps if you know what questions to ask and the consequences of doing one thing in a sketch that will stop another part. This normally means a lot of questions! I have been looking around for groups or clubs local to where I live, the closest (thanks to a quick Google search) seem to be Manchester, London and Western Virginia, Not quite sure why that one popped up but that's the beauty of the internet! So, the question is does anyone know of a get together, group, club (not swingers though!) local to Stafford, Cannock or Rugeley that wouldn't mind a middle age newbie popping along every now and again? Hopefully I can stop asking so many questions then :-)

Hiya all! I sometimes go to my grandmother's house, and there is an abandoned Karate club or something near it. Recently, I got bored so I went outside. I circled around that building a couple of times, and I noticed that I can climb to it's roof! It's not too high, about only 5 meters or so. The roof is awesome! It's flat, and then I came up with an awesome idea - how about building a small house there? Just for the fun of it, it could be an awesome place to come with friends. I need the floor to be at least 2x2 meters, height 1.5-2 meters. I need the house to be made of cheap and available materials. Got any ideas?

My elementary school has a weekly walking and jogging club. It would be nice to have an "automated" system to tally the laps and times each week. I do NOT want a commercial option, and hope to partner with the neighborhood Middle School tech elective to create the system. In a perfect world, I'm hoping another user has created a system like this and could share their tips (even if for remote control cars) or an instructable. There might even be a way to use an entry system that records the times.

I have a real problem with clubs where i live, the music is really really annoying (so called turbo-folkAnyway i want to know how i can stop them, suing doesn't help, too much corruption so i want to know if i can do something else, legal or illegal doesent really matter i once read something here about this sort of thing...If you want to take more sophisticated approach, you could try beaming your neighbor a strong radio signal, modulated with a specific audio signal. Unless his stereo is really well shielded, you may be able to find some resonant frequency that will get through, even if he's just listening to a CD. Sweep the radio frequency until you hear the audio signal from his stereo, then crank it up. You could even mess with his head, and talk to your neighbor through his own speakers! The same thing can be done through the power lines, by the way. I remember the electrical motor of our neighbor's high powered drill was starting to fail, and we could pick up the resulting sparks over our stereo system very clearly. in one of the clubs i can have a few minutes of full access so i considered writing a program that would add a parody song the the playlist, but i dont know how to disable their access to winamp so they cant stop it until the song ends and when its finished they should regain access...and the other has a wifi network i will try hacking into it,to see if i can do anything to mess with themThanks for any help, kind regardsAntonio M.

Certain technological developments have contributed to environmental and social problems on a scale arguably never seen before.Technology, however, has also been used to tackle such issues as climate change and social injustice. This forum will share and explore some practical examples being used in Scotland today, from noise monitoring devices to participatory video and community mapping projects.RAFFLE - broadband fundraiserThis year we are raising funds to improve our network facilities at the Electron Club and we will be doing a raffle with prizes including a group voucher to go paintballing.http://www.electronclub.org Contact: email@example.com
