It seems to me that a fridge using a peltier thermo generator would be perfectly coupled to a water heater and add considerably to camping comforts. I recently got a working microwave transformer for free, it has unknown wattage, though. What's the best way to ballast it? I've been assigned to redesign a soldering iron and research on how to make this tool better with input from users.  I am looking for first timers or beginners who have just been introduced to soldering and I'll gear my improvements towards their needs.  My primary design goal is to lessen the learning curve by addressing issues of safety and comfort.  I also hope to gain some insight into people's initial reaction to the tool and it's function if it's a completely new object for them.  I have posted a survey as part of my research and would love the input. Greetings, I have been unable to find a chair that is as comfortable as I want, and I would like to design my own. I want it fully support all parts of the body. I am trying to figure out a system for making one. To figure out the shape I need to be able to sit in it and adjust it at any point from head to foot to see what is the most comfortable to find the perfect shape. I need to be able to raise, lower, move forward, and move back every inch of it. Any ideas on how to do this? The best thing I can think of is a huge amount of clay. Thanks

I've just recently got back into k'nex, and man have things changed. I've built a TR8 and I need a new stock. I'm looking for something comfortable, and preferably adjustable but it's ok if its not. So whats your favorite K'nex stock?

I decided to make a comfort handle for my TNKIT round 2 entry, but I don't have any of those black wheels. I discovered you could do the same thing with green/black knex knobs. I have about 5 of these, and they make really comfy handles.

this is the dunkises BAW review. comfort: 9/10 - excellent comfort, pitty theres no foregrip. power: 6/10 - its got ok power, remember, its for close range. looks: 9/10 - it looks pretty cool. innovation: 9/10 - you can put magazines in the stock and the trigger is pretty cool. accuracy: 5/10 - not so great accuracy, remember, its for close range. piece usage: 8/10 - doesnt use tonnes of pieces, depends on how much knex you have. strenght: 7/10 - when you have no magazines inserted into the gun its a tad bit wobbly, nothing huge though. reliability: 6/10 - you may have to change the trigger a bit to get it to work and sometimes the mag falls out of the chamber. overall: 59/80 - its a great gun from the dunkis, but requires skill to make it.

I have this aquarium 60x30x30 cm. I wish to setup a waterfall in the aquarium. Now the depth of water in the aquarium is to be approx. 2cm and the height of waterfall is to be approx 10cm.  I am looking for a pump design which could work comfortably in that water depth.

Hello All This is a review on 'RBLTR V.1 (Red's Breach Loading Tactical Rifle)'. The RBLTR V.1 was published on the 1st of July 2013, and is considered by red himself to be his most powerful K'nex gun he has ever built. After building the gun and seeing the internals, it uses a pin pull mech and they look very similar to the G36C mech. There are many nice features to this gun that makes it original like the comfort bar and the sights. The gun shoots yellow rods to anyone wondering. STATS Range 10/10 - The range of the gun is rather high than an average gun. I managed to get 50ft accurately and around 80- 90 ft at an angle. It it described that the gun can reach ranges up to 70ft in the original description so I think 70ft is a fair judgement. As I managed to get 80ft plus,  I think the rating is 10/10. Appearance/ Looks 8/10 - The gun at first sight looks pretty hardcore although this does not really matter, I personally liked the comfort bar and the sights. The gun has a solid build so I think around a 8/10. Internals 8/10 - The internals within the gun are rather good, although I have had a few jams so I think 8/10. Broken Pieces 9/10 - The gun does not use any broken pieces however in some places the performance of the gun will exceed if broken pieces are used. That having been said I think a 9/10. Comfort 10/10 - I admire the gun mainly for its comfort of the handle. This helps to make the gun more accurate while aiming therefore a 10/10 without a doubt. Rate of Fire 6/10 - The ROF on this gun is quite good. When reloading this gun it did not take too long but their has been a lot more quicker and so I think a 6/10. Sturdiness/Durability 8/10 - The gun is put together well as I said earlier and I find it firm. When building this and adding the comfort bar is seemed that it was weak but as I added to it, it strengthened. Although the permanent fore-grip is rather weak in my opinion and could be stronger so I think a 8/10. Overall - 59/70 - This gun overall is awesome and I would recommend to build it! Also keep in mind that this is my ratings and opinions of the gun. Be sure to check out The Red Book of Westmarch's other guns. I hope you have enjoyed the review! Thank you! Hunter999

I want some ideas that you may have for a carrier. background: I want to bring my Dog on an airplane but he can't ride in cargo because there is a summer ban on dogs during hot months. I must fly before the end of the ban. The airline will allow a dog in the cabin in a soft carrier, if the dog and carrier are less than 10kg. My dog is 7kg so the carrier can be up to 3kg. It must be 27cm high 40cm wide and 55 cm long or smaller problems: the foot print is fine for my dogs they could lay down comfortably, but the height is small. I want to make a telescoping carrier so it can fit under the seat on the plane, but can open up for comfort in the airport and when moving.
