My backyard has a huge tree that I like to read under (& nap too). I'd like something comfy to read and nap in and somehow also keep the mosquitos out. I'd rather not have to take everything in every time I go out and I'd like it to look nice. The tree is high enough and strong enough to support hangining something Any ideas?

I have a pair of vibram fiefingers, classic style, as seen here. When I wear them, I get small blisters on the achilles tendon part of my foot. Would cutting off the two rubber things that jut fro the back of the shoe affect the shoes?

It has been posted. Here is the link.UPDATEI added an extended barrel, because of The Jamalam's suggestion, and I weighed it and it is 1.6 Kilograms which equals ~ 3.5 pounds.UpdateI changed the mag and reinforced some parts.I have finally finished my awesome sniper. I have been planning this gun since June and started building about 2 weeks ago. It is the first of its kind. It uses a rail system like dsman195276's sniper but it has a mag. It has a lot of power and accuracy because of the low friction barrel made out of orange connectors and wheels. It has a trigger that I think is better than dsman's sniper trigger. It has a comfy handle that is like dsman's sniper handle. It has a comfy stock a very accurate and cool looking scope. It also has a sturdy bipod of my design and a comfy front hand grip. it is also easy to pull back the firing pin. the mag capacity is ~10. Mag reload time is ~8 seconds. Time to pull back firing pin and power transfer and fire is ~4 seconds. Here are some pictures.

I am making plans to make a futon mat and my only delemma is that I can not figure out what to fill it with. I want to use organic cotton bating and possibly have some kind of comfy foam in one layer. Its gotta be roll-up-able and such. With the foam, I'm not sure what it is... where to get it... or if i should get it in tiny little squares that act as filler or as a pad. Any suggestions?

This is my first replica of a gun. it really does look like the real thing. i choose the halo 1 magnum because its a nice clean gun to replicate. not that bad for my first replica, is it? pros... 12 round magazine like the real thing. true trigger. comfy handle. good power. looks realistic cons... it might jam. (occasionally) trigger needs broken green rod or y connector. (optional, but it makes the gun work smoother)

Plastic is easy, lots of stuff sticks to plastic, but the only thing that seems to stick to silicone is more silicone. Hot glue, super glue, Elmer's glue, Gorilla glue, and liquid steel epoxy all fail. Any suggestions? Maybe something marine related? (Background: I used some left over silicone molding compound to make a comfy handle, but it doesn't want to stay on.)

Hey! i'm back with the V2! Okay, this gun fixes all the problems of V1 like: It know has a mag for the pump action part (that shoots 2 blue rods at a time!) the turret doesn't fall off any more looks cleaner it's got a scope and better sights uses quite a few less pieces (not that different more comfy trigger for all three guns are a lot more reliable So, i might be posting, depending on what you guys think, and i need a name for it! Ok, so I decided to rebuild it, and I found I got some stuff wrongBodyStock: 8/10 Why: comfyHandle: 8/10 Why: Comfy overall, but there is this spot where I get poked sometimesTrigger: 9/10 Why: seems very reliable, It didnt break this time around (idk why, I built it the exact same way I did from last time), but when you remove the rubberbands, that green rod can fall out.Barrel: 9/10 Why: works very well, but its a generic tube and stickTurret: 10/10 Why: It works awesome with the rest of the gun. Looks: 9/10 Why: looks tight, especially when loaded up with red rods, but the turret seems a bit out of place with the rest of the gunPerformanceRange: 10/10 Why: 90-100 feet flat (2 rubberbands)Power: 10/10 Why: its the most powerful gun I have ever made. It can shoot through various heavy duty cardboard boxes with 2 rubberbandsReliability: 8/10 Why: the turret is a very effective method for the repeater, however, it sometimes skips rounds, but rarely.Innovation: 7/10 Why: nothing that new, except for the revolving mech and the trigger.Recommendation: Yes, I would recommend it to anyone who doesnt want to use a bulky knexsayer, or a single shot in a knex war.Final rating: 9/10

Well, a few people knew about this, and I finally got around to putting up some pics. It has a new-ish handle that is really simple yet comfy, a new-ish handgrip that is simple yet comfy, a new-ish barrel that is out of the norm, a removable red rod mag, nine connectors of friction and a full black rod of ram pullback, a true trigger(duh), and a swinging bipod that attatches to the barrel when not in use. That's it for the pros. Now, it's rather bulky, it has so-so power(though I never really went for that), the barrel is sorta flimsy(workin on that), the trigger tends to not take too much pressure(workin on that), and the stock is wierd lookin. That's it for the cons. Yes, yes, yes, yes I know my camera is crappy....it's too bright in all lighting.... Ironically, I finished this two days before school starts, so I don't know when I'd be able to post it, if I intended to...but say your thoughts on it anyway.... Oh, and by the way, if you fell like leaving a random or off topic comment, I'm no Nazi *cough*TheDunkis*cough*.... I got to type this all over again, because it would seem that the first time, the pictures wouldn't upload.... If you need more pics of it, let meh know! Also, just to let you guys know, I had two options: 1- let this thing have more jams than a Smuckers factory, or 2- make it so it cant jam, but you have to lightly tap the pusher for it to shoot. I went with the latter, so it adds like one second to the firing rate....

Well, i wanted to do a review, so i did this! Let's go right into the review!!! Piece use- This thing uses so many pieces! And it's really small too! But the high piece count does make it a lot stronger. I give it a 6/10 in this category Strength- This gun is really strong! You can drop it, and it most likely won't break; But there are a few weak points. I give it a 9/10 in this category ROF- this thing has a good rate of fire if you have small bands, but if you are going for power with big bands, you have to load just one bullet in at a time. I give it a 7/10 in this category Power- well, it's a slingshot, that shoots gray connectors, so it's gotta be powerful! I give it a 9/10 in this category Accuracy- This thing is not the most accurate gun ever, but if you are using rapid fire, it doesn't matter about accuracy! I give it an 8/10 in this category Mag- the mag (which i have never seen before) holds those grey connectors perfectly, but it is a weak point in the gun. I give it an 8/10 Comfort- This handle is comfy! The pull-back thing is also really comfy! I give it a 10/10! Size- This thing is small! You can fit this powerful little gun in any back pack, perfect for hiding it! I give it a 9/10 in this category Pull-backer- What else do i call it? Well, it is really comfy, and it makes pulling back bands super duper easy! I have three strings of two #64's on it and it's just simple to pull back! I give it a 10/10! Looks- This thing looks deadly! The super filled in bow, the awesome looking handles, everything! I give it a 9/10 (it's missing a little something...) Elastics- This thing holds as many elastics as any old ratchet, making it powerful! I give it a 9/10! Bow- the bow is really strong, and it looks super deadly, but for bigger elastics, the small wheel just isn't very good... I give it an 8/10 Sound- this thing sounds sweet when shooting, but if you are trying to be quiet, this isn't the gun, unless you use one of those things that i have on the ratchet of my ASCB, sooo. I give it a 7/10 Big review, eh? well this gun gets.... An 8.5!!!! Great gun from Knexfreek and Killer~Safecracker! Go subscribe to them!!! Images coming soon!

Hello everyone, So, out of the blue I decided to take a walk down memory lane and watch some old K'nex gun videos on YouTube. After some time, I came across a video from several years ago. I'll link the original below, but basically it was a video by KILLERK about wanting to build a more war-worthy shotgun. There were a couple of these videos where he basically talked about what he wanted to have on this gun. At the time, I didn't see a video or any post on a finish product, so I decided to build it myself based upon his wants. Note this gun is unfinished as I just wanted to show it off. However, it will be completely finished, and if there is a demand I will make instructions for it. The following are the guns features, along with its characteristics: -Pin guide -Charging bolt -Straight-pullback rolling trigger -Comfy stock -Comfy handle -Trigger guard -Finger separator -Sturdy construction -No broken parts (None are required) -Good ergonomics -Looks nice/clean -Shotgun turret, with KILLERK's shells -Because of the design, trigger strength, and shell design, the gun is very powerful -Good spread of bullets, thanks to the shell Now for something a little more personal. Personally,I think it is the best gun I have ever made. I wanted to make one last gun that revived old concepts as sort of a thank you to the community that I've been on since 2011. This community has been a considerable part of my life, as I used to spend a lot of timing playing with these plastic toys. With leaving for college in a month, I don't see myself really building anymore, not to mention posting anything new. The post I make for this gun will be my last K'nex related post. However, like most, I'll still lurk around. KILLERK's video Thank you to all. -Didexo

I'm moving into a new house. Decided to move into the loft. Basically, it's the V of the roof, like an attic. I can just barely stand in the center, but I expect to do little more in there than sleep, use the computer (at a desk, IE sitting), and poo (there's a bathroom, weird, huh?). I can use an air mattress, so that's easy. Now I just need ideas for a cheap desk (I'd put the computer on the floor, but I sit for hours, because I'm a lazy-ass and a nerd, so it's gotta be comfy) and a way to store clothes (lotsa shirts, socks, some pants, regular stuff) without big-ass bulky dressers. Everything has gotta fit in an attic-style hole in the ceiling and go up a ladder. Ideas?

Hi there, Does anyone have ideas on how to make/get hold of a silicon type material to make moulds of so called toe separators. Something which could be made to an individual's needs, i.e. I would make it for myself and if it works, to share it publicly, as I am sure those who suffer from having bunions would benefit extremely. Unfortunately the products available on the market most of the time don't work (and is waste of money and resources), as all of us have different toes, feet, alignments etc. Any ideas on how to make such material at home and cheaply are very welcome. THANK you in advance! To peace and comfy feet for all! P.S. I have attached a few photos of these products to give you an idea of what I mean. The silicone which is used is soft but sturdy enough, which doesn't hurt the joints of the toes. It would be great to be able to mould these around flip flops (and other shoes) permanently - so that they don't move about.

ITS POSTED!!!ok. a lot of you hated my sniper rifle so i decided to make a new gun-an assault rifle. it uses the new mag idea from katarukito, the mag is a removable clip, the back of the stock is based off the Storm 221. its true-trigger.However, the rifle is still in progress, but pics may be released tomorrow(pics are up!!!). I just wanted you to look foward to something. it is not flimsy, except on the stock (fixed), bolt action.if i post the instructable, and you hate it like my sniper, i'll post two block trigger guns, and then quit knex for a good bitok, the gun is posted. i have introduced other guns with the same name, but they had problems with firing more than one shot at a time and jamming. if you have any problems with this gun's mag, blame Katarukito, because he designed the mag in the first placePROS-good range-not flimsy-has removable clip for 5 rounds-true trigger-pretty comfy-less friction than similar barrels-piece efficientCONS-mag sometimes jams-blame Katarukito on this, i was trying to put it on a gun-not auto-loading---you have to turn a knob on the mag after every shot (however, that produces a pro, Dsman 195276 pointed this out)-you cannot expand the mag to hold more parts-it is always going to hold 4, no matter what you doEXPECT INSTRUCTIONS BY SATURDAY!!!

M'kay guys. You are probably woundering why my shotgun ible is gone. I will tell you. It never really go through the filters, and I PM'ed Mikeasaures to get him to pull it through. He was quite helpful, but told me in no uncertain terms that it had to be a step by step. So I took it down, and am reposting it now. Feel free to comment even if you already did on the old one, LOLZ. Oh, I have noticed there is a feature to "Share Photos or Videos." Is that the proper way to set up a slideshow? Sorry that the picture quality is lame, but they are stupid good considering the fact it was cloudy and raining when I took them. Don't worry, I will try to avoid making this mistake in the future. Swarm is a wicked indoor knex war shotgun, able to fire up to sixteen green rods, eight white rods, or four yellow rods. Now this is not my gun, just sayin'. It is KK's shotgun prototype updated with a the TR8 body, trigger, and handle. I thought I would post some nice, clear pictures so you can build it too. What really turns me away from this gun is that it is downright ugly. Some of you guys might not mind that, but I do. A lot. The good thing is this is powerful, reliable, and a shotgun, not to mention fun. Range is over sixty feet, and it is a tube and stick gun, so it will never fail. It is also a very fun gun to mess with. Swarm also has a very comfy handle, a strong stock, and nice grip. So enjoy the pictures. :D While this may not be a good primary for an indoor war, it would be very handy to have, if you have something like the ZKAR or my Epidemic to use, as reloading is a pain, unless you use yellows. Those are quick to load and hit hard. Please comment and subscribe. Feel free to leave nice long comments, as I like to read them. If you need any help, just ask. If you have any suggestions for my next project, please tell me.

This is a review of TD's newest pistol on Ibles, the Oodassault Pistol.Review requested by TD.Range: 7/1025-30 feet with 2 64's. Could be better, but not very bad for a pistol.Looks: 9/10Bleh. I don't look for how a gun looks, just reliability and power. But I'd say it looks pretty good. Strength(in terms of holding together) and Comfort: 7/10The back of the pistol exploded once for me. I wouldn't recommend putting too many rubberbands, the back may explode if you do.Also, the thicker part or the handle (middle layer) was pretty flimsy for me, and broke pretty often. After replacing the blue clip with a tan clip, it stayed in place and never broke off. No biggie.Other than that, very sturdy.Handle's very comfy, no rods sticking out anywhere.Reliability: 10/10Not once has this pistol jammed, or the trigger system failed. Power: 8/10Not too bad. Dents my super-special awesome cardboard (with extra reinforcement) a bit from a good 5-10 feet away.Accuracy: 9/10This uses oodammo, of course it's very accurate. I can hit a 3-inch target from about 15-20 feet away (and I suck at aiming lol).Extra Features/Sights: 7/10Sights are kinda unnecessary, but fun use if shooting at stationary targets from a REALLY short distance. Safety is also fun to play with, and pretty innovative. Nice work, TD. Piece Efficiency: 10/10Uses very little parts, and gets the job done.Overall: 8.4/10Very good pistol for playing around and war (for a sidearm). Reliable and powerful (for a pistol), this is a must build for anyone with the pieces. Ible: https://www.instructables.com/id/Oodassault-Pistol/EDIT: I have a bad sense of measuring. My friend with better depth perception came over today. He estimated about 20 feet flat with 2 #64s. Whoops :SAnd TD's right, I do rate too high. :S

Before commenting, be aware that i got rid of this. hahaha Sorry, no pictures yet. The rest of my family (all of the girls in the family) went on vacation down in SC while us manly men went to manly places like tool shops (hahahottopic jk) like home depot and water country usa. And sadly, they took the only camera with them. Their coming back tonight so I should be able to get some PICS of this ttly 1337 gun. Enough of this talks about my life onto the gun. Like I said, I can't take pictures, yet, so I'm just going to list the features from the butt of the gun to ze top. 1. Comfy, buttstock, and a stick type stock w/ ram guide 2. New 2-position realistic angled handle (one position for m16 series standard grip, and another a bit more angled) 3. kinda weird for-grip thing but it's good I guess 4. easy to use scope mount and blade sights 5. around 10-15 round blue rod mag 6. and my favorite part of the gun, the Hop-up! 7. I wouldn't consider this a feature but it looks a b s o l u t e l y bad***. You'll see. just wait... A hopup is basically a bump in the barrel causing the bullet to curve up thus making it hop up. Originally from airsoft guns it presses down on the BB as its leaving the barrel creating a backspin so when it leaves the barrel it curves up increasing range and making it more accurate. Except this doesn't apply to knex bullets since they tend to move MUCH slower and the barrels are their are dents in the middle of them. So with knex you'd have to just put a small dent type thing on the bottom of the barrel instead of backspinning it (which is impossible with knex since their not in a sphere shape). If you really want to know more about hop-up heres a link http://ezinearticles.com/?Hop-Up-in-Airsoft&id;=589601 And finally, sorry I have been so inactive lately, I have been extremely busy more then normal.

Sharir1701's M17S is truly a pretty gun. Even my mom said so, but it does have its draw backs. In this review, I am going to do my best to give you the pros and cons of this gun, so that you can decide weather to build it or not. Now, the gun might be somewhat outdated, but it is pretty cool all the same. First off, let us talk about the cons, as those will really be the things you will really want to see. Cons: Looks: He stated in the 'ible of his M17S that "this is my bushmaster m17s replica thats like 95% perfect as a replica..." but I quite disagree. The barrel area is not quite accurate. His is too thick, the barrel is WAY two small (though, I admit, with his setup it would be pretty hard to edit that), his trigger guard is not quite curved enough, and the handle is curved way to far. The carrying handle is not high enough, and the attachment bar is too block like. The butt-stock area is horrid. it is not flat on top, it is WAY too big, and it does not have the right types of curves. Mechanism: The mechanism does not always block the FP, and the safety does not always work. The mag lock is also a waste, as the mag stays in fine with out it. Piece Consumption: This gun is VERY piece consuming, and took up almost all of my orange connecters, green rods, and dark grey connecters (even with my attempts at piece saving). This is not really a disadvantage to the gun its self, but just keep that in mind. I am sure there are MANY ways to fix this as a problem. Now to the pros. Pros: Looks: Looks good over all, but again, not very accurate. Comfy, and yet sturdy, this gun is not at all a wast of time! Mechanism: The mechanism on this gun is FANTASTIC. I love the way it works, and the mech is quite effective (minus the disadvantage above). All of the mechs are easy, work great, and are VERY "smartly" done. Effective overall. Range: Fantastic! With a couple rubber bands you have your self an effective gun! Overall: This gun is so much fun to build and to mess around with. It's big, sturdy, has great range, has great mechs, and is just awesome overall. I would love to see this gun's mechs thrown into a concept gun/fake gun. Hope this helps you out. And as always, rate, comment and subscribe!

After reading knexgeek's review, I decided to build the ZKAR to see what my AR-4 was being compared against. I can't do a side-by-side comparison because I ran out of green rods. Anyways, Here are the advantages of both guns over the other. ZKAR advantages over AR-4 v3: -ROF -Size (smaller, but weirdly uses more parts than the AR-4) -Comfort -Better trigger -Yes, I guess it does have a nice, clean design AR-4 v3 advantages over ZKAR: -Range (gets a slightly better range than ZKAR with an equal amount of bands, around 5 feet better) -Reload (While you can easily slip rods in at regular intervals on the AR-4, I find it a bit difficult to keep the ammo in before I put the pusher in on the ZKAR) -Sturdier than ZKAR (I find that some parts on the ZKAR break after heavy use, while the AR-4 v3 is just fine) -Farther pin pull Now both guns have their flaws, Let's just list some of them: ZKAR flaws: - The back wall on the mag closest to the trigger can break off. However, it's a good note that the bolt always touches that back wall so I guess it evens out. It has only broken once when test firing. - If you somehow pull the bolt back and push it forward twice, you find that it can jam and it's a pain to get it fixed. - Sometimes the bolt breaks. However, to be fair, it only broke during ROF tests. AR-4 v3 flaws: - Can't be loaded upside down (I don't see this as a major problem, and you can shoot the gun upside down, but idunno why you would wanna) - Sometimes the bolt doesn't go into the chamber without "Help", but then you can just stick your finger in. - A few times, the ammo completely misses the bullet lock. This is rare though. So I guess that's my comparison. I do like the ZKAR and it does live up to it's rep, but I think it's all an even playing field with each gun having it's own uses on the field. While I'm at it, here's a ZKAR v2 review (I know there is another ZKAR review, but that was for the first version) Body structure: Stock: 9/10. Why: very sturdy and comfy Handle: 7/10 Why: Sometimes pinches your hand Trigger: 10/10 Why: Very sturdy and original Body: 9/10 Why: sturdy, but a bit hard to build Mag: 7/10 Why: Small chance that the rear mag wall will break off (that has only happened once to be fair) Bolt: 7/10 Why: Works, but the bottom part that pushes the ammo up to the barrel can break after heavy use. Overall: 8.1/10 Performance: Range: 9/10 Why: 55-60 feet with 2 bands Accuracy: 8/10 Why: Accurate at close quarters, not so much at longer ranges Power: 8/10 Why: puts huge dents in cardboard Reliability: 7/10 Why: Sometimes the bolt catches on the ammo being loaded up in the barrel and causes jams. This is rare and has only happened to me twice. Everything else is fine. Overall: 8/10 Final score: 8.1/10 Nice gun zak!

***THIS IS NOT A PRIMARY WEAPON, BUT A SECONDARY. I am tired of people nagging me about it, it's a k'nex gun that shoots as far as any other powerful pistol, but the main thing I'm emphasizing here is QUICK RELOAD and RELIABILITY (no jams, mag pushers, or anything to get between you and your challenger). It's just a handgun that I slapped a stock on to look cool, so you can stop telling me that some kid's sniper is better or deconstruction round guns are things of the past because that's just your excuse to put me down. I'm not complaining, I'm just stating the obvious. 1. The whole gun, stock, clip, mech, and all. 2. This is with the clip on. 3. This is what it looks like when you take the clip off. 4. This is a front view of the clip the gun uses (I didn't show any empty clips, just take all the white rods off for an empty clip.) 5. And a side view of the clip this gun utilizes. 6. This is what it looks like when you hold it... The handle looks like crap compared to the TDS but actually is very comfy, as the white rods stick out around your fingers. 7. The retarted FPS angle that everyone seems to love. Stats (KI Template): Type: Revolver Weight: N/A Ammo Type: White or Green Rod Range: N/A* Firing Interval: 1.5 seconds Mag Capacity: 8 Rounds Mag Reload Time: 2.5 seconds *This one really depends. A newer white connector will not shoot as far as an older one since the older one will release the white rod easier. That being said, mine shoots about 20-30 feet with a single #64 rubber band at a slight upwards angle with an old connector. Not bad! Sadly, it does not auto-revolve, but there are no clumsy mag pushers poking at you, and while it takes longer to cock and shoot, the reload time is VERY fast, you disconnect a connector and connect a new one, so if you're fast I'd say 1-2 seconds. Also, if the annotations get in your way just click the white "i" at the top-left. EDIT: New double-cylinder. Slightly slower than reloading regular single-cylinders, but easier to carry around. 7. A picture of the gun with the double-cylinder. 8. The new clip, by itself. New Round: Mag Capacity: 16 Rounds Mag Reload Time: 2.7 seconds Yes, I know this design is relatively old. Yes, I know other people have done this. This is the first to feature a design specifically for detachable clips. This may not seem like much, but it reloads extremely fast, and with the double-cylinder design, can outlast any pistol in a firefight. Why? Well, for one, as opposed to loading in each bullet individually (if you use post-it notes they can clog up your gun no matter how you put them in), this comes in packs of eight and sixteen. Also, there are no rubber bands for the clips, so no jamming, no mag pushers, and no friction from the bullets. If you rush and slip up with a "regular" gun, you potentially have a broken clip, or bullets everywhere, or a jam. With this, the only punishment is a longer reload time. Also, while conventional knex gun clips have a lot of pieces, a single-cylinder clip has MORE ammo pieces than non-ammo pieces, and the double-cylinder clip has very few pieces as well. This means you can have more clips built, and the number of bullets you can hold expands exponentially! So again, while this couldn't fight soley against the SwagBoss, or the Knexsayer, or big knex guns, I would put my money on this above any other sidearm due to its reliability and the fact that its reload time is super short.

Scroll down for update I've been looking at new laptops. The ones I want are way to expensive. If I had a desk top I could get a lot more computer for a lot less money. I have 2 old laptops. I would like to gut one of the laptop cases then install a new lcd monitor into the case which will plug into a desktop. I would like to do the same with the keyboard and the speakers. Whats the point? It won't be a lap top. This is correct. I don't want a lap top. I want a folding monitor speaker and keyboard that fits on my lap with cables that plug into a desktop that is sitting on the floor next to my chair. I want to easily unplug my Lap Desktop, fold it up and then make it disappear. I want to sit in my comfy chair gaming talking to my wife while we both watch tv. I don't want a corner of my living room dedicated to a big old computer desk. The original idea was to use component parts of the laptop. The monitor speakers, and keyboard. After doing some research I realize using the monitor won't work. That is ok. I will get a new one. Where to buy it? what to buy? I hope I can still use the laptop case and install the parts I want. and make it all work... If this project seems like fun give me a hand. Help me figure out the details. I will take the pictures and make an instruct able and credit who ever has helped me... I know I haven't got a clue and I have not found this product premaid and ready for purchase.... Update The Monitor I found what I need for my laptops lcd conversion to desktop monitor. I will purchase the R.RT6251 from njytouch on ebay. This essentially will allow me to use my old desktop lcd as a computer/tv monitor. I hope it works. I will also be converting the montitor into a touch screen. Njytouch has lots of good feedbadk and I have seen some great videos for their products on youtube. Theoretically I have the montior situation under control. The base. I have given up on the idea of using the original lap top base. I still want a clamshel design. Unfortunately I cannot use my laptops old keyboard. It worked fine for the lap top but like the original road block for the LCD at present I cannot find a easy solution to by pass the proprietary element. I was hoping for another miracle solution from njytouch. Don't think it will happen though. So for my contingency plan. A weighted plexiglass base I will mount my hinged lcd on with a shelf I will set my keyboard on. I have an old logitech g15 keyboard which would be awesome to use again. It sports several usb ports easy access for my peripherals. When finished I will have a hinged lcd touchscreen mounted on a mounted on a weighted flat lap desk surface.. It will be a lap desk with a clamshell design for easy storage that will all plug into a desk top computer. Questions Is Plexi glass the best building material? What would you recommend. I would like it to be inexpensive and relatively light. This set up will be on my lap for hours at a time. So far I'm looking at about $150 for this building project and I don't own a desktop yet :) Are their any additions and improvements to this idea you guys can think of. I'm thinking monitors and speakers also... That may be going overboard though. .

Hello, I have a wonderful neutered male, 2 year old Cavalier king charles named Bentley. Bentley Loves people, kids, other dogs, cats, everything and every one. Perhapes he has been a bit spoiled. He has been well socialized often taking dog park trips, took a socialization class as a pup.. we work on issues with a trainer as they come up.. he had been humping from time to time at the dog park so we were working through that. I love Bentley so much have wanted to add a second cavalier king charles for some time. We went meeting dogs and Bentley got on fine with them all on their territory and on neutral territory. We finally choose to go with an 8 week old female black and tan cavalier from the same breeder we got Bentley from but different parents (the dogs are actually co owned) They did fine on neutral territory but as soon as we got in the house Bentley was mad.. I have never seen him like that, Barking, snarling, at her. I separated them and have been trying to work things out with them gradually. It has only been a couple of days of course. He also tries to push her under him and hump her, but she wiggles out as a small 4 lb puppy will, and he gets annoyed about that too. I can tell him "SIT" and it seems to redirect him. I am so in love with my new girl who I have named Velvet, already, so I need to make things work out. Bentley seems fine with her when they go out and potty, or are just calm together, sometimes something will set him off though, like if she gets too comfy on my lap he will start growl barking at her and acting like he might nip her but doesn't actually do it. though she does have slobber on her after. If she moves to my husbands lap he goes over to him and does the same reaction. then I have to separate them. Toys.. forget it, he will not let her have her toys or his. If they are just walking around together they seem fine.. but he does not like her getting playful or too snuggely with us.. he also gets mad if he notices her mouthing. (teething pups of course require that training) it is hard not to have him notice as we are correcting her. I am trying to keep things equal, equal attention, when they are together (she is crated a lot for house training anyways) They potty together and both get a treat, teaching her sit if he is there and sits they both get a treat. Both get petted at the same time together, and when Velvet went to the vet today I took Bentley along. These were all tips from the trainer I go to. I just have never seen this sweet doggie boy of mine so bent out of shape at another living thing. I just want re assurance that others have been through this, and had it all work out in the end, and give me tips as to what worked for them! I keep reading mixed advice on what to do in this situation so I am not sure what to do. I am leashing them for interactions right now of course for safety reasons and I am of course only allowing closely supervised play. Velvet also has a safe play area that I gated off with an xpen, where her crate is. They are eating in the same room, But Bentley does not care much about food anyways, never had a food aggression problem there.

Hello fellow iblers’! I’m JonnyBGood and today I decided to post a review of the SRV3 concept. Be sure to note that this is not KILLERK’s official version but a close knock-off. I did not use the same bands or the exactly same mech. I also did not make side covers or the monopod so don’t judge his version based on my model. I also never shot it outdoors so ranges are a complete guess, but I will say KILLERK’s ranges are very believable since I witnessed them at Knex War 2013. So now with all that gibberish out of the way what exactly am I reviewing? Well I’m reviewing the concept, the ratchet mech, trigger mech, and any other part that contributes to the guns function and ergonomics. Okay so now let’s start with the ratchet… Ratchet- After the first use of the gun, I couldn’t imagine trying to load the gun without it. I did try loading it without using it and ended up spontaneous launching it in random directions, something you don’t want to happen with a gun this powerful. (Luckily the wall I hit was cement) The ratchet concept is really what makes the gun usable for people of any age, height or strength so I definitely think KILLERK did a great job designing this feature. Trigger- Well I willingly admit this part is the most different from KILLERK’s version, but it does rely on the same concept of the round being held in by a clamping force. I was actually the most concerned about how this would work because to me holding back a force that could send a yellow rod through a door with a clamp didn’t quite make sense to me. I will saw after building it I now don’t doubt the clamps capability to hold the round, and now it also makes sense as to why he used a clamp. The clamp trigger mech allows for a very light trigger pull due to the pivot point being so close to the ammo, so the slightest pull moves the clamp up. SRV-3 trigger is definitely one of those surprising concepts, being that the most powerful gun on instructible’s has one of the lightest trigger pulls I have ever used. Random other things- The ratchet and trigger were the two concepts which to me stood out the most for the SRV-3 concept but there are many other things about the gun which I will cover here. The Handle- So surprisingly enough it is actually pretty comfy, and it’s mainly built to hold the heaviest knex gun I have ever built. On the other hand, I wouldn’t try lifting this gun by just the handle, but why would you? You are definitely not going to akimbo these things unless maybe the handles were moved more toward the front of the gun, and then held like an RPG, but again why would you even want to akimbo or hold it with one hand? It’s a sniper rifle! The Dimensions and some other random things- Alright I bring dimensions up here because I think it’s one thing to see pictures and another to actually know how big this is. If you stand it on end it’s about six feet tall and it’s a yellow rod wide, so ten layers wide. (if you filled in the center which you would not do). Again as I ranted about earlier this is what makes this gun so heavy but it’s required for the amount of power it’s capable of. You would also add another two layers if you wanted to make it more presentable so it could be 12 layers wide if you want it to be. Another thing that I noticed on my version was that the gun bows toward the end. Granted I’m not sure as to why or if I was missing a support somewhere but it wasn’t a problem just something I noticed. The only other thing I was planning on reviewing the accuracy but if anything was relevant it is that I suck at shooting accurately! XD I can’t even shoot guns I build accurately so, a guy who is much better at creating coverfire, will not be giving an accuracy score. I will say the sights allowed me to shoot a 8 ½ by 11 sheet of paper from ten to twenty feet relatively easily, so they do help. In conclusion I would recommend you build the SRV-3 if you have the pieces for it. I would especially recommend it if you haven’t built one of KILLERK’S SR’s before because the power will blow you away. It is deffinitlly the king of the slingshot platform for now and probably until an SRV-4. ( I apologize for the poor picture quality but it would not fit in my normal picture taking spot and there's still too much snow outside for outdoor pictures. Sorry!)

Is the Blackberry Torch much better than an apple iphone ? No, but right here are the explanations why it is good sufficient for me personally . Research moving amazed us a week back if this delivered a Blackberry Torch review device . Evidently , the organization sent many of them . It appears as though individuals at Edge are greater than a small anxious concerning the marketplace wedding reception for this telephone and it is general probabilities for achievement . I do not fault them. This polarizing item has evaluations which are mostly free of charge yet others which are currently phoning the Blackberry Torch 9800 underwhelming or even worse . Its earlier sales—150K within the very first weekend—are nowhere fast close to Iphone product sales amounts , however they are nevertheless reputable . Last 7 days , I acquired into a disagreement concerning the BlackBerry Torch having a Gizmodo publisher . This person is most likely two decades more youthful than me and may only see the Flashlight with the prism of the Iphone . The technologies now has wrinkles he explained and also the display quality , in the current 800-by-480 globe , is awkward . I would recently been transporting the Flashlight close to for several days , and that i merely could not accept him. I will not dispute the truth that the apple iphone 4 is a superb item . And also the lot of Google android mobile phones , with and with out key boards , are great items . I love the Android By , for example , although I believe it is too large to transport close to on the day time -to- day time foundation . I love the initial Android and Android 2, although I believe Moto continues to have some function to complete on that computer keyboard . The keyboard—really any cell phone keyboard—is, to some extent , in the core of my difference using the Gizmodo publisher . He, like a number of other earlier 20-somethings, is completely comfy with no bodily computer keyboard . I am not . There are lots of individuals during my era much like me and in all likelihood numerous current Edge clients who nevertheless choose Messaging mobile phones . But departing apart the yawning generational variations , I love the Flashlight and that i appreciate utilizing it . Furthermore I not skip my BlackBerry Bold 9000, I'm not going it back again . Here is why: 1) The Internet browser : Indeed , chiefly a credit score towards the Rim Operating system 6, but with no touchscreen and accelerometer, which allows me change from landscape and portrait setting , the knowledge would not be fifty percent of the same quality . It is certainly quicker , deals with practically any type of Site , and it is supported with a display that, whilst not as high definition like a Android or apple iphone , is definitely razor-sharp sufficient for my eye . 2) The House Display : Edge has been doing a pleasant work using the accessible property about the Flashlight display , and that i adore the way the display techniques remaining to correct and down and up . I'm able to reside in the All display , however , just like other configurable cellular systems , I'm able to personalize it too . You will find a number of symbols about the All display , so having the ability to transfer some to Faves is really a encouraged alter . I am also happy the written text information image has become towards the top of their email list . On my small Daring , I frequently skipped texts since the image was crammed nicely beneath digital collapse . Additionally , I love that a few of the essential applications , like Tweets , are actually a fall behind area of the program . 3) The Touchscreen : I did previously personal a Hand Treo and try to valued the mixture of contact and bodily inputting . Given , the old Hand display was limited . The Flashlight , however , isn't . I love will be able to use actions to maneuver with the numerous displays . Adding the touch and move is encouraged , although , I can not picture somebody starting an impression display without them . 4) The Look : The Flashlight is weightier than my Daring , however it seems excellent during my hands . The line is good , although not groundbreaking . There's something really Rim - ant concerning the Torch—and I am good with this . 5) The Laptop Keyboard and Touch pad : Indeed , the laptop keyboard has a smaller footprint along with a little bit much more confined than my Daring , but Edge has because of the secrets somewhat formed sides , so they are simpler to really feel . I'm able to nevertheless perform some inputting with out checking secrets . Basically kind with an apple iphone , I must view my cerebral vascular accidents ( do not detest me simply because I am aged ). Those who have a mature Contour or very first - era Daring will value the track pad . Nevertheless , the main reason it is fascinating about the Flashlight happens because it life correct beneath a complete touchscreen . In the beginning I asked yourself the reason why you would want the track pad using the motion - powered display . Nevertheless , I quickly grew to become skilled at utilizing it for just one really significantly feature—something that's not very easy to complete with an apple iphone : shifting a cursor close to via characters , phrases , and obstructs of textual content . On an apple iphone , I location my hand exactly where I wish to choose and maintain it before the cursor techniques to that particular place . Basically maintain for any 2nd lengthier , my choice resources seem . There isn't any good way to browse via textual content . The Torch's track pad allows me transfer my cursor anyplace I want—in connects and text—and then begin choosing , duplicating , sticking , and so on . It is a delicate distinction but one that is essential for a particular type of person .
