Transforming a upright freezer into a super airconditioner? Answered

I'm getting a slightly broken, upright freezer from craigslist (only the seal is broke, so air's leaking out the door frame) and I was wondering if there is any way to make it into a slightly over sized air conditioner.  Living in Texas, it's kinda hot so I dont mind if its chilly (im the kind of guy that wears flipflops to North Carolina in the Winter on the Mountains). Im going to be putting it in a mobile home that will be internally demolished and transformed into a recording studio. It shall have its own little 'space' over in the corner. It would be great to cool down the heavy old-ish recording equipment and the computer I will house in the 'tech room'! Could I just cut a hole in the freezer and run a duct from it to the trailer? Would it put too much condensation? Thanks!  *Big, upright freezer around the size of a normal refridgerator*

BJT under saturation condition??

Under saturation condition base current is very large that voltage across Base-emitter junction of  silicon based BJT is more than 0.7 volt. In this condition the voltage at collector (Vc) is 0.2 volt. By kirchoff's voltage law Vc=Vce( imagine emitter is directly grounded) Vce =Vcb+Vbe. If Vbe>0.7volt how Vce=0.2volt? As Vce includes Vbe, it must also be more than 0.7 volt. But it is 0.2 volt wich is less that 0.7 volt. How?

Hi, I have a burning question, I thought about combining a small fridge I have with a floor fan for cheap in room air conditioning. I'd appreciate your thoughts and suggestions on how to combing the two without hazards. Tho the fan is a bit bigger, in concept would do as well.   Thanks, Chen Cohen.

Underground Tube Air Conditioning

I have long heard about using buried tubes/pipes to use as a heat exchanger to take the hottter air from your house, blow it through a system of closed loop underground pipes in order to use the earth mass as a heat exchanger. The earth mass removes/absorbes heat from the house air in the pipes and delivers cooled air back into the house. Can anyone direct me to web sites about this subject. Or, certainly, if you have knowledge about this, reply to me with it? Thank you, John333

keep a papermodel in good condition? Answered

I've just finished a paper model boat, it's a fishing boat with a lot of small detail, and especially rigging with thread. can anyone suggest any ways to keep it from getting broken/ and i don't mean, 'make sure you don't sit on it' or something, but maybe a spray on adhesive that would keep all the joints stiff, but wouldn't damage the paper.

Can I air condition my mechanical room?

I have a mechanical room that houses my 2 HVAC units.  The room is not air conditioned and gets very hot in summer.  I'd like to use it for some storage since it's a good size, but would like the room to be cool.  Can I air condition the room by running a duct from the HVAC unit?  Seems like an obvious solution but then why did the builder not do it?

How does this thinkgeek air conditioning device work? Answered

I was wondering, how does this device work? http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/travel-outdoors/c400/ I tried to understand it, but if it does work filtering water, wouldn't the water have to steal heat from the device, and than the vapor would be blowed to my face, giving it heat to return to liquid state?

Best "HHO Electrolyte" Versus "Conditioned Water" and Why you think it is ?

I plan to use rectified high voltage for 2 dry cells . 8" by 8" 16 plates each using microwave parts but I can't figure the minimal input if coming form  12 volts batteries and car alternator . I bet I'll need a converter from car DC to H/V transformer and I have no idea how to make it a reality Use the best of your knowledge to answer !!! Instructive and useful links are welcome ...
