Frequency Change on Futaba Receiver R138DP (PCM) originally tuned for 72Mhz

Futaba has discontinued their 50Mhz receiver Model R138DP, however its available in frequency range 72Mhz.  I have Futaba Transmitter 9-Cap operating on 50Mhz. I want to convert all my 72Mhz receivers to 50Mhz since there is nobody using 50Mhz in our model club so no chance of Frequency Clash, more over I experience Glitches on 72Mhz but non on 50Mhz.

how to drive NCR 5972 futaba M202DL08A over serial please help.

How would i drive this beast of a display over serial.  it is a NCR 5972 futaba M202DL08A 2x20 VFD. When i send it the command 0x1B 05 to bring it out of low power mode to display text it does not do anything. it runs on 12V and i do not have the cable for it. datasheet 1 www.maltepoeggel.de/html/vfd/m202ld08a.pdf datasheet 2 www.maltepoeggel.de/html/vfd/vfd_ncr5972.pdf

VFD voltage and current needed

I've a Futaba 4-LT-16 9L big VFD display. Unfortunately I'm not able to find the datasheet or exact details about it. Maybe I could contact Futaba... The only informations I found are these two schematics https://revspace.nl/old/IMG_2239.JPG (but it doesn't match with the 4-LT-16 display) https://revspace.nl/old/IMG_2240.JPG (not very useful to me) from this page and this video from the same page. Could someone help me? Are there typical voltage and current for the filament (I think it depends from the length and the display dimension)? What about the grid voltage? Thanks!

Best material for an rc car body? Answered

I bought a nice futaba controller set from Hobby Town USA and built a RC Hovercraft with it. It was a failure, so I took it apart. I now would like to tackle something easier, like an RC Car. There is less worry about weight on one of these, like there is on a hovercraft. What would be the best material to use to build the frame? I was thinking PVC, but I'm no expert. Thanks!

Motor selection for Humanoid

Hi All, I have recently made a 6 degrees of freedom half-humanoid (no torso) using springRC analog servo. But, I realised that it cannot be made to walk unless the hinges are rigid. Joints are made of plastic. mail.google.com/mail/ After much thinking, I decided to make a new humanoid with parallel plates connected to one shaft. This way, the legs will not bend much. But, in most of the humanoids, that I have seen in instructables, 2 servos were used to control a joint. This will make it costly and program intensive. Has anyone seen a servo motor which has a double ended shaft? I have browsed through Futaba and Hitec motors, but in vain. Please help me out on this. Thanks, Shishir

Need help with PWM to Analogue conversion

I have a Futaba RC transmitter and receiver, and an electric wheelchair. I want to be able to control the wheelchair via RC (a-la battlebots), and I do not want to control the joystick via servo. I also want to leave the wheelchair's joystick controls intact and either solder another RC device in tandem with the joystick, or hijack the control by having an external switch that switches from either manual joystick, or RC Freq. I have some experience in electronics, but only in the troubleshooting arena. I can fix things if they are broken and can troubleshoot to the board level, but have no experience building bots and have no RC experience. The solution needs to be low cost please. I can solder build boards from directions. I just have no "vision" of how to put these 2 systems together. I think the words "pwm to analog" have been thrown around online, but I need to know more. Please point me to websites, or send me instructions and Ideas. The wheelchair will not be a wheelchair forever. R2-D2, Wall-E, and an RC Lawnmower are all in contention. Thanks in advance.?
