I have a character that I use for everything named Dark Surge, and a part of his backstory is that he's 35 developmentally (literally, he's 40,000,001), but he looks like an adolescent. I'm not sure how I can make him older. Any tips? Thank you! (These are his two side views; I am animating him, and so the two views are used as separate characters for simplicity.)

I have been searching instructables but i cant find any that relate to manga or anime other then "how to draw" instructables. I am looking for costume and weapon ideas as well as general conversations/forums involving anime/manga such as Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, Pokemon and Dragon Ball. I know there are a couple on Naruto, but I have not yet seen the anime or read the manga so i dont really care about that. Please post a link or just an idea for costumes, props or weapon instructables. Thanks and I hope that if you havnt read manga or watched anime before, you should get into it.

I want a picture of a man in white kneeling and a man in a black suit with a sword putting the sword on the kneeling man's head. I would prefer this to be in a manga kinda style, but any style will be ok. It doesn't matter how long it takes, but sooner is better.

While watching some Japanese cartoons on TV, I always noticed that some symbols appear on the head of the characters. Sometimes a sweat drop appears when they are aggravated or embarrassed. Sometimes I have seen what looks like crosses, periods and other symbols and shapes. Since I am not familiar with Japanese culture, can someone explain me what these symbols mean? Thank you.

Someone was such a fan of Akira that they recreated Kaneda's bike from the manga and the movie. The bike is actually street legal and I'm looking forward to reports of it tearing it up in Neo Tokyo in vicious street gang battles. Extra bonus points if it manages to create light trails. Link

Went on a trip to Hokkaido recently and there were a lot of drinkable yogurts available at nearly every 7i and Lawsons. My favorite one is the one shown in this pic https://www.tripadvisor.com/LocationPhotoDirectLink-g321549-d2628179-i75834122-Milk_Kobo-Niseko_cho_Abuta_gun_Hokkaido.html I read in a manga that takes place in a Hokkaido high school that you can make yogurt, i'm hoping the same drinkable type of yogurt, by combining milk and store bought yogurt in a container and then storing that at 40 degrees celsius for a couple hours. The name of the manga is Silver Spoon, or Gin no Saji if you're wondering. Has anyone tried this method? I know the normal method of making yogurt i'm just hoping this method is the method that makes it into that drinkable consistency similar to those drinkable yogurt drinks in Hokkaido.

Okay, this might be a little confusing, so bear with me. I want to make a looping video of, say, Matrix code display on a small LCD screen, but I just want the little screen. Is there any way I could hook up a thumb drive or something to it to display that video in a loop?

Hi! Another technical problem. I've been getting into paint to try doing some manga on it and I've run into a problem. I can't make the eraser larger. I've worked with the previous paints but none of those hotkeys work. I looked it up on the internet and it said to use fn+ctrl+? but it didn't make any difference. Remember this is windows 7! Any help?

So do you , people of instructables, attend any Expos or media conventions. I've never been at one but i'm considering going this year to the London MCM Expo in May (24-25). It's basically a media convention with preveiws of upcoming hyped films and unknown Blockbusters. Also it has a huge section for comics where you can buy manga and animies for a quite cheap price. Last but not least, it has sections covering video game releases and what not. So I might go since it only happens every 2 years. Does anything like this Expo happen where you live? And have you ever been?

I have sewing, drawing, baking, photography, general crafting, and painting skills. I have some experience with crocheting, knitting, woodworking, gardening, writing, and scrapbooking. I like history (specifically American Revolution, Napoleonic Era England & France, and Victorian England & America), art (Impressionists are high on my list), anime and manga (although I'm still new to it), and science fiction. I don't know if I'm looking for one project to do every day for a year, or a "genre" of projects so I can mix up my weeks. I don't have a ton of funds to pour into this, but I have a lot of supplies for the things I mentioned above. Any help in narrowing down ideas would be greatly appreciated... I feel like I'm drowning in ideas and don't know where to swim.

I promised to send a 13-yo boy a "cool" patch if he improved the language mechanics in his Instructable. But now I think he's actually going to do it; and I'm a 47-yo woman who (gasp!) only ever uses her cell phone to make and receive telephone calls by voice. I probably wouldn't know contemporary 13-yo cool if it walked up and bit me (although I suspect that, if that ever did happen, it would be kind of cool). Any hipsters out there willing to help me find a clue? (Edit: I haven't named the Thirteen-Year-Old In Question partly beacuse I don't want to single him out, but mostly because I'm hoping to get a general idea of what's cool in the tween/tween world. Does anyone still care about Harry Potter? Is HALO still big news? WOW? Are manga still hip? ...Etc., etc.)

Hello! Please consider helping me, no matter your artistic ability. I am 13 1/2 year old Linnea Walter, otherwise known here as Anime and The Beatles. I am an amateur manga artist. Under the influence of the late John Lennon, (the rest of the Beatles, and other musicians and artists) I am undertaking three large endeavors. The first is Glass Onion, a series of paintings strewn around a sculpted "picture frame" made from scrap metal. My second one, Perfect Anarchy, is limited to my bedroom, where I have Picasso/psychedelic murals. I will accept advise for this. My most important piece is the one I am asking for everyone to participate in. This is my Here Comes the Sun/A Day In The Life/ Nausicaä Is Me Dreaming Of Wind. This, I hope, will be grand. I want a surreal world, in a way. I am asking, everyone, to collaborate in a fashion that every piece is interconnected. I want a sort of Maker Faire, only more surreal. I am already asking people I know to help. I am thinking of paintings, costumes, and an enormous play or movie. I want it to be so integrated that it could change our society as a whole. These are some of my pictures and paintings. I would absolutely love everybody to help. I also have a question, does apple corps Ltd. (as in the company usually assisted with the Beatles, not iPhones.) have a website or someplace I can contact them?

International-English Grammary rules :Rule #1 : "-ize" versus "-ise" In International-English language, we don't speak American-English or British-English. So, we are free to choose whichever ending we want. However, it is recommended to adapt ourselves to our interlocutors. For instance, if you write to an American-English speaker, you'd rather prefer the -ise ending, and when you'll write to a British-English speaker, you'd rather prefer the -ize one. It's also possible to select -isze or -izse endings, and you're absolutely welcome to change all along your sentences. However, it is absolutely forbidden to improvizse excentrical endings such as -izzzz, iszsze, etc.Examples :I realize that we could recognise that he did not organizse this exercisze as expected. (correct)Yeah, I agree. It was a great surprizzszsze ! <------- bad ! very bad ! Don't !Same rule apply to words like civilizsation, coloniszation, etc.Rule #2 : "-our" versus "-or" The rule is almost the same than #1.The alternative International-English ending is : "-oor".On the other hand, the "-ur" ending is not an acceptable alternative !Examples :I love the couloor of yor eyes and the flavoor of yoor tongue ! (correct)Yeah, yur right ! <----- bad ! extremely bad !Rule #3 : "-re" versus "-er" Again, same as #1 and #2.Unfortunately, there is no International-English alternative ending. However, keep in mind that this rule only apply to words that have a different spelling in American-English than in British-English.When available, always prefer international spellings over american-english spellings : litre and metre instead of liter and meter Examples :As I was lost in the centre of this commercial center, I drunk three litre ... (correct)Three liter of what ? Of wine or of watre ? <---- bad ! very very bad ! never do that !I don't remember, so I guess it was not water. (correct)Rule #4 : conjugation :If you forget the -s or the -es at the third person, it do not really matter as long as the pronoun is present in your sentence.By default, every past form of verbs take a final -d or -ed, and it is acceptable to ignore irregular verbs. It is also acceptable to conjugate the verb after its auxiliary : I did not conjugated correctly.Examples : She don't understand because she's a girl ... (acceptable)Yeah, that's because girls have a smaller brain than men. (correct)(and true)Yes, you're right. I have readed that in a magazsine writed by eminent scientists. (acceptable)Rule #5 : plural forms :By default, plural form of words take a final -s, and it is acceptable to write the plural form of words like child and "man" with a final -s (childs, mans), instead of children and men. Also, if you accidentally add a final -s to children, it does not really matter ... as for men with a final -s, it's rather a women's problem that you should better avoid.Examples :I hate childs ... (acceptable)Why did you made childrens then ? (acceptable)Because I wanted to play Lego and Play-doh again ... (immature and stupid)International-English Dictionary and Vocabular :CColoorCoulorCouloorCoulournounSame as color and colour. This is a beautifull coulour, how did you made it ? - Thanks, I simply mixed them all. This afternoon, KillerJackalope cut Cameron just to show him his favoorite coulour.EExcentricaladjective1. strange or unusual, sometimes in an amusing way :He thinks he is an artist, but this guy is just totally excentrical !2. which is not in the centre : The axis of this wheel is excentrical !GGOTOverbTo go to somewhere without possible return. You'll GOTO hell !GOSUBverbTo go to somewhere with a possible return. You'll GOTO hell without even GOSUB purgatory !!GrammarynounSame as grammar, but ending with a y :Why this y ? - Because that's the International-English grammary !HHolyHollyHolllyadjrelated to a religion or a godthis holly book makes not sense at all ... it's all writted in Outdated-English language.Yeah, I agree. It would have maked more sense if it was an hollly manga ...HoolyHoollyHoolllynouna small evergreen tree with shiny sharp leaves and small round red fruitWhere did you go for your Hollydays ?I went to Hoolllyhood ...the holy place of the movies industry ?Nah ... Hoollly HOOD ......But that makes no sense !Yeah, it's because it's an holly definition.LLoginphrasal verb when you connect to your account on a computer or a website by entering your name and your password :Please login to your account and watch my website !Okay ! I'm loging in !logingnounthe activity of loging in to a computer.a loging userPParalleliseParallelize Parallelizse Parallelisze verbto put in parallel :He parallelised the laser beams together.ParallelisedParallelizedParalleliszedParallelizsedadjectivethat have been put in parallel :These laser beams are perfectly paralleliszed.Pronounciationnounfrom the verb "to pronounce" ; how words are pronouncedWhat is the correct pronounciation of the word 'zeitgeist' ? - Don't ask me ! I don't even know how to spell it !UUnbannableadjectiveimpossible to ban ; that can't be banned :I can hardly believe that Nachomahma got banned from many site : he seems so unbannable !This guy is unbannable because he respects all the rules of the site.VVocabularnounSame as vocabulary, but without the ending y:Why not the y ? - Because it's the International-English vocabular !International-English pronounciation :As we all know :- most American-English speakers emit ducks and cats noises through their nose, and almost "vomit" some vowels- most British-English speakers emits vowels through their nose from the back of their throat, and consonants between their teeth without using their lips- most Australian-English speakers don't pronounce at all (they just make noises)So, you are free to pronounce your words with whatever accent you want. It's your right. After all, English is not your first language. You can be proud to know more than one language, and thus, it's your entire right to customise this second language with your natural accent. However, if, for the sake of compatibility, you absolutely want to imitate an accent, it is highly suggested to pick the Canadian-English pronunciation. They are the only ones to pronounce words like "about" and "house" correctly. For instance, they don't say : "abawt" and "hawse", they say "aboot" and "hooze".(c) all right reserved terminajones.com, aka chooseausername on instructables.comShiver irrrrrelevant Humens !Now that we have assimilated your tongue,You have therefore no secrets for us !
