Hey, I was wondering if I was allowed to make an intractable on adding a motion sensor to the Xbox 360. It is technically a mod.. And MSFT hates that.. Is it allowable? -n

I've made some mods to Zak & Bakenbitz's SwagBoss. The mods include a better shotgun trigger (pull with your pinky!), cheek rest, better stock (my standard curved stock), bolt mods, and a craptastic sight mount. 1. Mine. 2. The shotgun trigger (ask for internal pictures if you want) 3. How I connected the pin guide (lol, but it works) 4. Stock 5. Cheek rest (held in by blue clips) 6. Bolt mods 7. Sight mount THE INSTRUCTIONS. BUILD IT HERE

I have been looking at minecraft mods recently and I wanted to find a tutorial on how to make (not install) a minecraft mod. Naturally, I went to Google, but all the tutorials I found were how to install mods, not make them. So I ask you, community, to please present me with at least a decent tutorial on how to modify minecraft. (and not how to make a texture pack either)

Ook, so I realize there are a few groups that have to do with gun modifications. BUT, I couldn't find a FORUM for them, so I am making one. In this forum, we are to share our coolest, most successful mods of knex weapons here. If you are to describe a mod, you MUST include at least one picture, so we can all admire your handy-work.I'll go first. I recently (as in last night) built the mod of Jager's rifle from THIS IBLE and found the gun a bit faulty. Since it uses a lot of pieces, I was in no rush to dismantle it immediately, and rather, I tore its insides out and put my own in. The result is an enormous mod of a mod with a four-shot magazine for orange connectors with grays and a sleek look similar to the original mod.P.S. The picture is from a bad lighting/angle... the gun looks a lot cooler in person.

There are so many different nerf mods for ALL nerf guns, But the question is "Which one brings enough power to make a nerf gun shoot far and fast with better accuracy?" Answer is all them, if you put all the mods for one gun into one gun you are going to get a great outcome unless you do the mod bad, take a Recon CS-6 for instance it is a low power nerf rifle not good for wars at all shoots around 20 feet but, mine has been modified and i am currently looking for different modifications for it but it shoots more than 80 feet measured, exact results are 80 on most shots 1/10 shots shoots around 50 and that is because it was a BAD DART, here is what i did, (P.s: this will be a instructable for the mods in this....) 1 Removed AR 2 stretched out spring by plunger ( not recomended get a new spring if you can ) 3 put a spring behind plunger to create more friction which pushes the barrel forward more and causes a stronger air push. 4 made the air tube bigger by the AR with a drill Thats all i did it was easier than most mods i have done ( iremember the maverick i had no idea how to get into the roatating barrel) but it led to the best outcome, P.s doing the same thing makes the Raider CS-35 alot more stronger it will more than likely shoot 90+ I will be getting a longstrike soon so i will show you guys the AR Removal and other mods i know which can be applied to the gun and create another great Nerf Sniper Rifle, Later guys.

I would like to mod a handheld radio (or even a analogue tv but radio would be better) to get to listen to higher frequencies than normally available. I'd Like to hit the 1420Mhz mark approximately but with little electrical engineering or architecture experience, I'm not certain how? Which might make a TV easier to get there as UHF covers that right? (still safer to play with a battery powered radio than a 240V powered one) I figured there is someone out there with the ability to figure out what components need changing? The variable resistor that tunes it perhaps? If you'd rather post an instructable I'll follow that or just tell me what needs replacing with what? Any Ideas?? Thanks

Can anyone leave me a mod for the tech target, maverick, or firefly except the cpvc mod? Also for darts? I also wanted to ask how to get camera pics onto library. Otherwise, I can't tell the nerf maverick mod no one knows about! I just need that help, and some nerf mods and links. Thank you.

Hey I have some ideas for a DS mod, a Game Boy mod and a NES mod. What do you think? 1. DS lite in a DVD case (so it can be stored on a shelf) with solar cells instead of the li-ion battery 2. Game Boy in a scientific calculator (GB Pocket, of course) 3. Working NES console around the size of a double bed (with removeable controllers and games to the same growth ratio) It would be a real help if you could post comments on what you think (constructive critisism only)

Okay so I had this old nerf gun for a while and finally decided to mod it. I took it apart and fixed it to be a single shot sniper that will shoot about 100-150 feet. The only problem is the original quick release valve is completely sucky and severely limits my range. Does anyone know how to replace or modify the air release trigger to make it release more rapidly?

I know absolutely nothing about circuit boards and things like that. any info would help. thanks

SR-v2. Minor mods to stock, handle, handle to stock to barrel connections, and slingshot. There are orange connector w/ Y-Piece connections from the handle to the stock, as well as from the stock to the barrel. I will post a picture detailing where if you like. Enjoy.1) Gun2) Slingshot mods.3) Stock mods.4) Connection/handle mods*.*See the small bit on the bottom to the right? It's a bunch of red connectors. Note how it's attached. You can use this to make the entire barrel. It's quite sturdy, just a but of weakness when it twists.

I have figured out something useful without making the firefly ugly. First, take out all of the screws, and start mapping them by the nerf's shape. Sorry I have no pics, but I want this to not take three days. Take out the pieces that support the barrel. Draw a map if you have to, because this can get very annoying to put back. take out the barrel with the supporting orange piece and throw away the orange front piece. This may reduce slight accuracy, but you can now use sonic micro darts, and you need to to do my 3rd to next mod. Unscrew the back of the barrel. take out the piece. Unscrew the 3 screws on the back, too. Make sure to keep mapping. Unsrew the last front screws. Get small pliers or a large screwdriver and pry it open, going all around. Take out the springs and the 3-pronged pieces. Put the barrel back together. Take out the air pump and stretch the spring. Put back the gun, using your mapping. Now, for the fun part. Drill a hole through the center of the barrel, big enough for your flashlight. You are done. Have fun.

Hello, I'm working on a light/video setup for my friends' band. One component is a video switcher I want to trigger by the snare drum; contact mic into one of these amplifiers into the select button on the switcher below. My question is about the easiest way to modify or replace the switch so that it operates on the signal from the amp instead of the mechanical pushbutton. I don't expect that to be simple... another option is to wire up a small motor that simply pushes the button from the outside. The other component of the project, anyway, involves more contact mics to amps to light organs, to visualize the drums. That part is a little less worrisome, although after investing in a lot of parts I made the mistake of seeing what the same money could've gotten me at guitar center... oh, man...This is my first post. Thanks a lot for any and all ideas!

Now there is an instructable on how to do this. Here it is.Well, I was thinking that there's always something to mod. There's always a new craze, like flash drives, camera lenses, anything. But I'm pretty sure this is new: custom matchbox cars. The ones below are a few examples. You can spray paint them and then do touch-ups with acrylics. For more advanced modders, you could try to integrate shocks and stuff. I will post an instructable on this if you want.I think that modding is a necessary part of instructables and we always need more ideas.
