A instructable won't publish

So I posted this instructable https://www.instructables.com/id/Mario-Mushroom-T-shirt-Recon/ 24 hours ago and I think it just showed up on the site. I still can't find it in recent at all, so I'm not sure if it's fully there yet. I know it probably just got stuck in the filters. So my question is; is there any reason it got stuck? Like is there something I can do to help my future instructables not to get stuck? Any feedback is welcome! Thanks!

I'm trying to enter the gardening contest. I've uploaded pics, click "publish", but can not proceed. I only see the publish image reminding me to add pics, which I already did. I've created two drafts of my entry, one in Firefox and one in Chrome browser. Same thing in both.

Last night I published my instructable called "As Cute as a Button" Magnets. I noticed this morning it hadn't gotten any views, and I looked for it on "Recent Instructables" and in the Living section and could not find it. I unpublished and republished the instructable, but still it has not shown up anywhere in the "Explore" area. Is it just taking a while to get published or what?

I've been trying to publish a project since yesterday afternoon. Every time I get the error message : Servers are busy. Please wait a few minutes and try again. See screenshot. When I click publish the message "Generating image" appears in top right corner. (screenshot). After a minute or so of "generating image" I get the error message. The project edits and previews fine... but won't publish. I am new to instructables, but my last project went through without a hitch. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your help.

Greetings, I don't understand how one gets exposure after publishing an instructable. I published a product under the photography group. If I visit the group it does not show up. There are only 3 showing. I have to visit my "You" section to even find my project. I don't see how publishing in any area gets you exposure. Now, I'm not trying to grand-stand here. I'm not particularly overjoyed with what I produced but I would like to see some comments.

I have some problem with an instructable that i posted 2 days ago. when i view my own profile, it shows that i have 12 instructables published. Truth is, i actually have 13, when i count each one individually. this is kind of bizarre, because, i usually see a lot of comments and favorites for my other instructables, not including this one. can someone tell me what is going on, and can the instructables support team try to help?

I have completed the entry form; embedded the YouTube code in proper place. After logging into Instructables, clicking on You Page, the drop-down menu displays Drafts (1) ..., clicking on Drafts (1) a window displays my entry with a checkbox preceding the entry, I click checkbox then click on the (publish) link and a new window appears that has three tabs. Current tab is Edit. Clicking on Publish fogs the page and the window returns to Edit. I have a Title and have placed a description as well. There is no alteration tried that ends with publication. If I click on preview - the proper video appears along with a Comment. I have been attempting various methods to publish since Friday, March 29th, including changes in browsers, and computers. I am stumped. I have finally answered my own question: One needs to place something in every box, i.e., Description, embed, and a graphic image. And place Tags. Then depress Upload Files. At that point it was self explanatory. Sometimes I am unable to see the tree in the forest. Maybe this may help another.

Not sure if this is a bug or not...is it now normal for new Instructables to take hours to show up on the site after being published? The last one took a few hours and currently one I published 6+ hours ago is still not visible on the site. Previously, after I hit 'Publish' it only took a couple minutes for an Instructable to become public. Thanks!

Hey everybody! I pusblished an Instructable entitled "Making Thermite" quite a while ago - however, it has not appeared as published. When I follow the "Direct link" to it, it tells me that it has been removed "by the author". However, I have not done anything to trash it - I worked relatively hard on it! I can only access the editing page because I bookmarked it - on my member page, is says I haven't made any instructables. In the "History tab", it shows that my instructable has been changed by "admin" and "randofo". If either of you have removed my instructable due to it being a) Inapropriate or b) Absolutely terrible, then, please, email me, or tell me why you have deleted it! Thanks, -Boom

Is there a way to edit an already published ible so that it doesn't keep getting autosaved as changes are being made. I can just imagine somebody loading one while I've got a paragraph all in pieces figuring out a better way to word something. I know you can unpublish something, but would that cause it to lose all its comments and views?

I've created an Instructable at https://www.instructables.com/id/Make-a-moving-Sirius-Black-Wanted-poster-with-an/ Everything seems to be fine but it's not showing up on any of the "recent" lists and it's not getting any views, even if I send the direct link to other people to open. Normally I wouldn't care much but it's been submitted to a few contests. Does anybody have any ideas on what could be going wrong?

Hi there! I submitted/published an instructable about 12 hours ago, but it never made it into the "all recent" page. Kinda weird here it is: https://www.instructables.com/id/Smart-Doghouse-Tardis-Edition/ Thanks!!

Last night I published this instructable, but I can not see it in ALL RECENT option. However, it has a comment. I don't understand... What worries me is that when you solve the problem, my instructable will appear "backward" or as posted several hours ago, and many people will not see it, for that reason.

I'm trying to publish a video instructable, every time I click on the Publish tab it goes back to the Edit tab without publishing or saying there is something wrong etc. I've tried with text and without text, i've added a thumbnail image. Not sure what else to try.

Question by Andrew_48 | last reply
I recently created several Instructables from some of my youtube tutorials, and was surprised to find that they didn't hit the "recent" list. After some investigation I noticed that nearly all of them had a publish date of several days earlier than I actually published them which is causing them to show up so far down the recent list that they are unlikely to ever be seen. Seems like they are all two days early. Everyone of my published instructables listed as Nov 19, 2014 was actually published today Nov 21, 2014. Infact the 19th even pre-dates the creation of some of the video content.

Hi, I am having a problem trying to publish a collection. When I hit publish, I get an error message that says "Opps, something went wrong!". If I click the x on the message the message goes a way but the Publish Your Collection pop up stays with a cursor that spins forever. Please look at the screenshot for reference. Here is as much information as I can provide. Collection id is OYNUVW5IAWDJBHYU, currently listed as a draft collection. Slackware Linux 14.1 Firefox 31.7.0 Chromium 43.0.2357.130 (64 bit) https://www.instructables.com/editCollection/OYNUVW5IAWDJBHY The steps to reproduce this is: Select You -> Drafts Find my Collection and press draft (url above). Press Publish Press Publish on Choose Cover Image pop up. I get the error message.

Is there a way that I can do one of these two things 1. Publish my instructable so that others can see it, but can't find it on search (I want to send my in progress instructable to my friends to edit) or... 2. Allow another user to edit my instructable Please Help! <3 Buzz
