Hi, I’m having trouble with a wart. The wart has been removed for awhile now, but my skin where it used to be grows back hard. Can someone please help me? It really irritates me.

Well, i took apart my mp3 to put it in a "lego case", but it won't fit in. So, the only thing i can do is to remove the screen (it's totally broken so I don't plan to cut a hole in the case for it). My question is, if I remove it, would the mp3 still work? thanks.

My indoor Mint garden has aphids!!! I pulled 10 -20 off (all I could find) but I'm sure there are more! Also, I am worried that Ladybugs would die because it is a small plant (pot is 6x18 inches) and indoors. Furthermore, it is winter and freezes so the mint will die outside. How can I kill the aphids but still be able to use the mint?

When trying to make a pcb I messed up on the toner transfer... I have grayish traces on the pcb, and some of them didnt even transfer. I know you can supposedly get toner off with lacquer thinner, but i couldnt find any. Will paint thinner work? The pcb is fine, it has some white paper on it though too.. I have acetone too :) Also, when ironing with photo paper, something melted and is all over the iron. Is this potentially hazardous? Probably not good to breath in.. Any ideas on how to clean that off and to prevent it from happening? Thanks!

My sister in law used paint thiner ( a drop) over top of the wart 2-3 x a day......for about 1 week......worked really well!!! nail polish also works great!!!! She said that you can use nail polish over top of the wart......this prevent the wart from breathing and sufficates it causing it to dry up and fall off......Duck tape doesn't work and is a pain my husband did this method and it was a total waste of time.

The decal is printed on a 100% polyester fleece/mesh facemask, and appears to have been ironed on or printed. It is in an awkward location, and I would like to remove it without damaging/marking the surrounding fabric. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Just got my first set of Invisalign trays today and am close to giving up. Two nails folded over backwards, and another just tore to the quick... typing this is not easy. Got home and tried to shape a toothbrush handle to what made sense (didn't work) and then yanked with a 000 crochet hook. (Visions of emergency rooms dancing in my head). I've just ordered a set of Outies, although the reviews say the plastic is brittle and breaks easily. So, ible family, you are the people most likely to have come up with the perfect tool or method. Please share your wisdom.

There is an ‘ible that is totally worthless. The author basically brags that “he did it, but isn’t going to tell you how.” It’s completely against the spirit of this website. Here is the ‘ible… https://www.instructables.com/id/Ethernet_Commodore_64/ (Note, I don’t know if the author has other good or bad ‘ilbes, but this one should be removed.) Once done, you can then delete this topic. 8>)

I have JUST NOW dumped an entire sardine (in mustard sauce) onto my white work shirt while having my meal at work, and the standard "damp cold water on a paper towel and a dry one underneath dabbing like crazy, didn't work. I know there are commercial stain removers out there, but I would love to have a small bottle of something easy to make (or just something that needs no alteration, but does the job) handy for such incidences. Any ideas? (I DID do a google search, but would LOVE to know if any of the ideas worked for anyone personally; ;-)

I tried to make a USB thumb drive and messed it up. It was quick drying epoxy so it's set really hard. I've tried scraping it off - works but takes too long. I don't know what heating it will do to the USB drive. Any ideas on how to take it off?

The air conditioner is in second-floor window. Every few days one or two wasps (? paper wasps; lower New York) find their way into the room; these I kill. All other active wasps go in and out of the air conditioner on the outdoors side. Two years ago this same scenario happened ... I left them alone and read that they rarely inhabit the same nest the following year, which was true in my case, and therefore I vacuumed out the nest in the air conditioner and used it last year. This year they are back! How can I permanently get rid of them?

Does anyone know of a good way to remove the decals from a bicycle, specifically a Mongoose Montana? On the Interweb, a lot of people say you can, but just as many others say that doing so will ruin the paint and mess up the clearcoat that is applied over the decals. Is there a way to tell if my bike has a clearcoat above the decals? If I can remove them, would heating them with a hairdryer aid the removal process? And the sticky residue - what's the best thing to get rid of it? Lighter fluid? Thanks!

I am stripping down a 2004 ford explorer to put under my 1948 ford f-1. I have the body ready to come off except for one problem. The heater/AC. Those hoses are the only thing keeping me from removing the body. Is there any way to remove the freon and dispose of it because I know it is illegal to discharge it into the air.

This may sound like a stupid question but uh... How does the different rails of a computer power supply work? Could the other rails of a computer power supply be removed? So, suppose you have a computer power supply with 12v, 5v, 3.3v, and -12v, but you only want 12v without having the other voltage circuits operating. Is there a way to remove or disable the other circuits so you only get 12v without having other rails wasting energy not doing anything?

Does anyone know anything about Electrolysis rust removal. I tried it today on an old drill bit as an experiment and it worked quite well but I was wondering how I could improve my system. I was wondering how the voltage, amperage and surface area of the anode affect the time taken and the quality of the part. Also is there anything else that Effects ( or Affects ) either of these these. I used 2 litres of water and 2 table spoons of soda crystals with a 5 volt 16 amp supply. When I perfect my method I will clean up a very old and rusty Lister D.

A few years ago I got my first x-acto knife. Of course, me being 12 years old I started cutting without thinking of consequences. Now My desk is all scratched up... There are also some Ferric chloride stains on the desk and I may have spilled some superglue on it, too. My desk is made of wood and has a shiny white layer over it, picture's down there Now here is my question: Is it possible to remove the scratches? By painting it or putting a layer of x over it? If not, how can I get the scratches to be less noticable? And how do I remove superglue and Fe(III)Cl stains?

I have an ebony Epiphone Les Paul that's a couple of years old and I'm considering taking the pickup covers of of the humbuckers just so it looks different from all of the stock Les Pauls. How would I do that? I recently built my own electric guitar and I'm still in that mode where I want to customize my instruments. So far my Les Paul is completely stock. Also, if anyone else has any ideas of things I can do to customize it, I'm open to ideas. Thanks!

I just updated my old computer to service pack 3 and I noticed that when it was going through the update proses that it was backing up my commuter. Once it had finished updating and it had been restarted. I checked to see how much space it had taken from my small 10 gb harddive and found that the update had taken up around 3.5gb of my hardrive. I is the huge amount of space taken up the fault of it backing up my hardrive? If so how can I remove just the backup?

I recently downloaded some music from SpiralFrog (www.spiralfrog.com) because I'm too cheap to pay for music, but unfortunately It's DRM-protected WMA so I can only play it on my computer. I want to play it on my cell phone, but it only plays mp3s. Does anyone know a free way to convert my WMAs (with play licenses) to mp3s?

I was using permanent marker to mark the fold lines for my front panel on my cnc machine. It comes off easily with methylated spirits on an earbud, but not after heat has been applied during the folding process. I've tried acetone, 2K thinners, spirits, rubbing alcohol and even PlastiX (used for renewing the yellowing on old headlight lenses) with no success. The irking factor is high and needless to say black duct tape on the back just wont do it for me. Any other ideas?

Would any of the resident geniuses here at Instructables have any ideas for keeping graffiti off of my cedar fence? I live in a fairly rough neighborhood in a major urban center, and we exclusively have the bad type of graffiti-- crappy tags from juvenile delinquents delineating their turf. Any ideas on how to combat this problem with a DIY, cost-effective solution? I'm thinking it might just be something that most spraypaint won't stick to, or a surface that will destroy paint pens. Heat-sensing, motion-sensing automatic machine guns are not an option due to the rampant stray population ;) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TqIHlnfGKV0

So, I found a comment on an Instructable of mine that is inappropriate. I flagged it, but I do not know if that has something to do with its removal or if that brings it to the attention of the moderators. I would like to understand how this process works, so if you know, please let me know! Thanks in advance.
