I recently used a patch, and system says I can still send 14 of them. Is this number for a time or by suscription? I mean, if I redeem another pro suscription I will add my non-used patches to the new ones or I will lose them if I don't use them while this suscription lasts? Thanks for your time!

Hello, I have a current problem with creating an instructable. Right now the draft keeps saving. this means I can't go to another step but I can add photo's and text to the page I am currently on. If I create a new tab with instructables he sees only the beginning of my draft which is a shame since that means I need to make the instructable all over again and I was very far. I am using chrome internet browser on a windows laptop I was simply saving what I had wrote down and now it keeps saving for already an hour and I can't do a thing.

Saving Electricity: How to Save Electricity Welcome!I've always hated "How-To" guides which don't explain why a certain tip works, or how well it works. Sometimes a topic is just as mysterious after you read the guide. My guide is different. In all honesty, this guide is a bit simplistic, but it does have a nice description of why there's no point to worrying about surges when electronic devices are powered up.

When reporting this bug and editing the Topic multiple times, I saw there is a "preview" button when doing changes. I expect this button to Show a preview and then a "save". But it saved immediately. I am truly amazed I find 4 Bugs in my first day of using this Feedback forum. Whoa.

I have written text for my instructable a couple of times. Each time the autosave says it saved it just a minute ago or whatever. But I found out that you have to manually hit the "Save" button before the "Publish" button, or all my changes were lost. This happened to me a couple of times. What about adding an alert, if an author has added text, asking if they want to save first because text has been changed? The autosave is NOT adding the new text to the instructable, which breaks my heart after all the work I put into it.

I thought I post here after having posted this a question. It's rather just a bug report to tell what system I'm running so the admins know. The image notes don't get saved and the circling thing indicating that the page is saving the comment just goes on forever. My PC is a laptop (about 3 years old) running Win7 64bit with the current IE (not the latest beta one).

Hi. Mimi again! Thanks for helping to get my video ible to post! One last issue I'm struggling with. I can't add or save tags / keywords! See this screenshot: http://tardis1.tinygrab.com/grabs/d2bb728579f077e9b30fac5ef3920f1e60d85908c1.png or the file attached. You will see that there is a field for keywords, but no update or save button. The other options all have a little "update button" next to the entry field. I can type in all the keywords I want, but there is no way to save them. And when I navigate away from the page, there is no evidence that they were ever entered. Am I missing something? appreciate the help! Mimi

Don't forget everyone, daylight savings time starts tonight so be sure to "Spring Back" your clocks 1 hour at 2am tonight. And additionally because last year was a leap year when your clock reaches 2am for a second time, spring back an additional hour. If you live in the southern hemisphere the directions should be reversed ie. spring back 2 hours at 1 am. Europeons, please substitute 100 minutes for one hour to account for the metric conversion.

Do you want to learn how to go green or save enrgy. Well your at the right place. To start try by buying solar lamps and make a clothesline washers and dryers use a ton of energy. If you are looking for a car you should think about a priuis hybrid. They get up to 60 mpg!!!! Also turn lights off if not being used. always turn ff the tv and computer when gone or not using it may be a hassle for some people so if you have a desktop at least turn off the screen. please comment

I was going back through my instructable and found that some of the notes I had written were gone. I thought maybe I messed up and didn't save them so I reentered the text. When I previewed it again they were gone again. I've since tried the old editor, new editor, saving every time I make a tag and its hit or miss. It seems that if the image only has one note on it there is not a problem but as soon as you add more it doesn't work. I haven't been able to successfully add 3 notes to one image yet and it seems that it is random as to which 2 or the 3 gets to stay. This is my first instructable and as much as I love this site I don't know whether I want to go through the ordeal of making another article. Anybody else see this issue?

It has been brought to my attention, after many years of being a proud American, that we are all believing a lie. We are all subjects of the British monarchy. Our good people, the conspiracy theorists, whom never have lied to us before are informing us to that fact. Therefore to show my new allegiance to the Crown, I will sing "Rule Britannia" every morning and I will renounce baseball as my favorite sport and I am gladly replacing cricket as my new spectator sport (I still have no idea how the game is played but I will learn sooner or later). God save the Queen! Watch the video!

Hi, I am not sure if this has been suggested before. I have been a member for years on this site and find the projects fantastic. I have even built some! I am always coming across instructables that I want to try and spend a lot of time on the site surfing and coming across great projects. I would like to see a feature where we could add an instructable to our own "favourites" list so that we can manage them and go back to them and build them without having to add them to the web-browser favourites. This way, we can keep a list of those 'ibles that we intend coming back to inside the website. Perhaps we can even share that list with other users. Just a thought. EJB

WipeCarbon campaign designed to kick-start a million pledges from all of us which will reduce emissions of Carbon and help us to reduce the side effects in Global Warming. We are not looking for anything life changing here. Small commitments will not cost you a cent but they will make a big difference! How much does it cost to switch off your lights when youâre not using them? Or to switch off your electronics when they are not in use? These are just some of the small habits which we hope to inspire. A million of these small commitments is a big impact. Its that simple. Each pledge is one more person who cares about the planet. One more person who thinks before they buy or who considers how to reduce the energy waste in their lives. One more person who knows that global warming will not be solved by a single person but by all of us working together. This is what Wipecarbon is about. Come Let us all share and spread this beautiful message around with our loved ones and make this network a strong foundation for creating this Green Globe . Our initiative will surely make more and more people to drive towards it and take this pledge Million of these commitments will make it a ocean and create a beautiful globe joining hands with us. www.wipecarbon.com

When I save my article, the embedded videos disappear. They aren't saving for some reason. Is there a glitch with the site today? I'm using Safari on iMac. I've tried closing and re-opeing my browser. Tried re-starting the computer. I've even tried starting a new instructable, but it's the same problem. Never had this problem before, so thinking it's a bug? Is anyone having the same issue today?

Toilets use fresh water, and lots of it. Sure, you can buy a low-flow model, but you're still flushing with a (smaller) quantity of fresh, otherwise drinkable water. Gregorylavoie decided to get double use out of that water by hacking his toilet. It's a neat, reversible modification: after you flush, you use the clean, incoming tank refill water for handwashing. Your slightly soapy hand-wash runoff fills the tank, and is saved for the next flush. It's a simple, ingenious way to save water with little to no effort. What do you think? Would you try this mod on your toilet? This post has been sponsored by Pepsi. There were 5 rabbits but 2 died and 2 we haven't found the reason we know there are five is because we saw them the day before ,but didn't save them because we thought that the mother would come back Then the next day we saved them when we noticed only one was living. something sorta lucky happened... when we were on our vacation to Pennsylvania the rabbits cage tipped over and the rabbit got out and hid some where in our house. but my brother that stayed home so some one was there to look for him. He couldn't find him after like 2 hrs of looking he so he told my dog to find him and sure enough she sniffed him out in like 1 - 5 minutes. He ended up right behind the computer I am sitting at.... as I fix my grammar and spelling errors. he is also as big as a soft ball now :P that thing grows so dang fast.

Well have you? I did write a big long thing about the four times I have, but me computer crashed so I can't be arsed to type it out again. Anyway the other day at work, I'm a bin man(garbage man)by the way, me and another crewmen were working on the back of the dust cart when my bin came back down so I turned to put it back on the curb, as I did my mate still had his back to the traffic, I saw a big nasty van screeching towards us, so I grabbed him by his neck/face and dived on the grass verge, narrowly missing getting squashed to death by two pieces of machinery, which smashed together quite horrifically. Theirs no doubt that if I was stood were I was I wouldn't be typing this now. Anyone else had something like this? I had a load of pyro stories but as I said I can't be arsed to type um out again.

First things first, I've been a member of Instructables for 4 years. I made a separate account to post this for a number of reasons, including the fact that people I know in real life who don't know much about this part of my life could end up seeing this, and I really just don't want to deal with that. So. When you see this title you probably think "Oh, this chick learned how to do some sort of life saving thing on here and applied it to a real life situation." No, not quite. Lets start with the background story. I was 14, and had gotten in trouble for something stupid. I was quite upset about it and had recently learned about something called self harm. Seeing as I had heard that self harm can help people release emotions and generally feel better about things, I tried it. It eventually became a habit. I'm not sure if the self harm played a part in my spiral into depression or not, but it sure didn't help it. Along with the depression came, unfortunately, suicidal thoughts. I thought about it a lot. How I would do it, when I would do it. All that. I believed that I'd probably end up going through with it by the time I was 18 or so. Now fast forward a bit. To when I was about 15. I was browsing Ibles one day and discovered this Instructable. It's a good Instructable, but nothing really stood out to me. Until I got to step 8. Where I saw this: "Never ever think that you're not worth it or life's not worth, read the next step on all the crap I've learnt from without ever having had a suicidal thought, you're much better off being alive than dead, it's disturbing to think that people would do something so stupid, wasteful and futile." Now, Killerjackalope was one of the members I looked up to on here, and this quote struck very close to home for me. I couldn't help but remember it. I made a promise to myself that no matter how bad things looked, I wouldn't attempt suicide. Promises to oneself are easily broken, as many of you may know. But this one for some reason wasn't. Every time I considered suicide, that quote came to my mind and made me think "What about the promise you made to yourself? You can't break it." I'm 18 now, and I've come a long way from where I was then. There's been many rough patches, but through it all, I haven't broken that promise. Not only did that single Instructable help me, but the site as a whole did too. The projects, the community, that sort of stuff, all helped me. Making things made me happy, and posting projects on here was rather therapeutic.
