Lacing Up these Shoes

I just found these Converse lying around my house and decided to try asking for help on how to lace them up. I've tried Google, but not much luck. So can anyone point me towards some tutorials, coz these are some pretty wacky kicks and as you see, the blue lace is VERY long, compared to the ordinary white laces next to it. Thanks.

Boot lacing hooks?

Im trying to find hooks that are used most commonly on boots. These boots are a good example: http://www.whitesboots.com/assets/img/categories/boots.jpgIve looked all over the web, but can't seem to find anything even similar. I don't make shoes, so I really don't know where to start to find them, I may not even have the right name. I need them to make a type of corset. If anyone knows what Im talking about and could help I'd appreciate it alot! I just am completely clueless! Please help!!

How do I tie "deck shoes" to turn them into slip ons with the laces as tassles?

Back in the "olden days" ('80's) we wore preppy deck shoes we called Top Siders ( I think this was a LL Bean brand name). We would lace the shoes, then instead of tying a bow...we would leave each end hanging out of the last eye and make a noose like tassel. This would be made with the laces tight and the shoe would be converted into a slip on shoe. I remember how they looked, but I can't remember how to make the neat tassel like noose/knot on each end of the shoe string (strings were leather). Thanks! RaZoR

Wanting to make a cat toy, for two fat cats.?

Was thinking of,,,,, a shoe lace or sunglass kind of string, as the “Bait”. Want it to snap then craw back like your trout fish casting or pull back dragging on floor and a snap -out -again- W/O this arm smacking them in the head  (thinking of a hysteresis type  motor for speed and tork with short spring and stud to whip string  out about 12”.  Toy to Turn on and off with motion switch or after 2 min. of play  &  shut down, quit and turn on only by motion of them wanting to play again don.t want a presher plate switch.  Am I asking too much.?
