I have this circuit from an old $20 camera (pic sucks, I was lazy so I used my scanner lol) anyway it requires a computer to capture video (it only holds pictures without one) Is there a way to capture video from it without a computer on me? I'd love to use it as a "spy" cam.....

Is there a RC plane or aircraft, (like helicopters or hovercrafts) that can carry a camera and drop a payload. This would be great for pranks or dropping weapons for allies in an airsoft war, maybe even shoot airsoft bb's, that would be awesome. If you know how to make at least the first two or know a product that can do that tell me.

When I leave for work, I sometimes leave my bedroom window open. There is a medium sized gap between the screen about the size of your fist. Is there a way I could tell if someone has tapped my house? Recently my Samsung Flat-Screen has been very snowy and I remember that you could tell is something has been tapped because they interfere with your tv. The house I just moved into also has a wire panel outside my window which you can reach. My room is first floor, please help. I cannot sleep. I also read that you can tell just if you can pick up RF signals coming from the device. Can someone give me a schematic for an RF Signal detector? I can't afford the commercial ones, I once read a stat that if you suddenly wake around 2am or 3am there is %80 chance of someone staring at you. Your body naturally senses this somehow. Well, when I looked at my window, I saw a light then after a few seconds it was gone. I went outside and I heard a couple of cans fall over and my fence my shaking like it was moved. My gate is usually locked but it is a reletively short fence. I haven't slept for days. I can't stand it. I'm going today to buy some black curtains as these cheap plastic blinds aren't cutting it

Is it just me, or does kipkay (and a lot of the maker community in general, but I noticed it most with kipkay) have a suspiciously creepy amount of spying makes. For example:http://blog.makezine.com/archive/2009/01/weekend_project_portable_spy_scope_1.htmlhttp://blog.makezine.com/archive/2008/08/weekend_project_aircraft.htmlhttp://blog.makezine.com/archive/2008/06/weekend_project_parabolic_1.htmlthere's others, but I can't find them

PLEASE HELP! THANK YOU I want to make a SPY EARPIECE, like a hearing aid with an battery inside,a kind of electromagnetic receiver, that will work with an inductive neck loop set. It is too expensive for me to buy one. Another possibility is using a bluetooth neck loop set. It should look like ear pieces on these websites: http://www.tayx.co.uk/wireless-earpiece/default.html http://www.dhgate.com/mini-spy-earphone-wireless-hidden-cell-phone/p-ff808081228c727401228cf8c6982ce7.html Thank everyone who participates in finding out the needed plans to make one and technical plans

So with the advance of 3d printing, arduino firmware, Raspberry pi, and the general open source approach to making things in the last 15 or so years, it's really not that surprising that drones have become as wide spread as they are. Those not interested in drones view them mostly as either a hobby or a potential threat to their privacy, but I had an idea the other day that might push them into better prominence. What if drones could be used for construction and basic maintenance? What if a quad copter was the thing that was wiping down the windows of a skyscraper? Or messing with dangerous high power electrical lines.... Things that are both tedious because they have to be done over and over again, and that are moderately dangerous for a human being to perform. Why can't a drone be used for some of that, and can one be designed around those constraints? This is how a hobby user could make innovations that might curtail some of legal and general paranoia surrounding drones. This is all well and good, but let's take this a step further: Drones are a necessary part of human exploration. People talk about putting humans on Mars. Human beings require inputs. Food, shelter, air.... those sorta things. If there's a problem with one of those things on Mars, there has to be a way to fix that, and it's probably best if it's something that's established before those humans get there. Drones could be used to do a variety of tasks, and possibly even establish small caches of water or maybe even limited quantities of iron. Maybe even something like a 3d printed iron shelter.... (Induction heating works by pulsing a electromagnetic coil with high frequency electricity, which can be used to melt magnetic metals with high degrees of efficiency. This could be used to make low grade steel on mars, but if time and scarcity of resources aren't constraints... it would work.) Anyway... I was just sort thinking about this stuff. Let me know what y'all think

I want to build one of these on the cheap.http://gizmodo.com/344069/flashlight-dvr-perfect-for-spiesI was wondering if I could mod a 4GB mini pen spy camcorder usb flash recorder in a flashlight.I would also need to extend the battery life of the camera, because the camera would run out of battery before filling up the memory.I would like it to turn on when I press the on button of the flashlight.I also wonder if I could instead add several of them instead of having to mod the power and have a toggle switch and possible indicator when power goes out.By the way I'll be using an led flashlight

This unit is 3.7v, 240mah. Need to find a higher capacity, (2000Mah?) 3.7v batt that I can charge via usb. Then I could add that extra battery power to my tiny camera (Md80) via a usb cable for a much longer run-time. Is this possible? Thanks for any help! Larry

Hi, I would like to make a small spy cam which takes images when a button is pressed and keeps on taking the images until that button is pressed again. I need 4 cameras to be present and it should have 4 microSD slots and cards, so that these images will be stored in this. The camera will be moving when taking the pictures. So I guess it would need high shutter speed to get quality images. So what kind of camera modules it will need and what are the other things I will have to buy to make something like this? Thanks.

On certain cameras, DVD players, VCR players it has the red, yellow and white "out", if I were to have a spy camera with the yellow and white "out" how would I record that in the space of a largish pocket? Kipkay's Instructable features the exact same style of camera (go here www.instructables.com/id/Covert-Spy-Sunglasses/)Pic is of my one, not my picture though (sorry). Red is for power.

OK, we actually have a third spy camera from Wild Planet to give away so let's have another caption contest! Now, last time we did allow a photoshopped entry, but only because we changed our minds and had two winners. This time there's only one camera left so it's captions only! Photoshopped versions will be shot into space, or at least ignored. Also, this contest closes down at 12:01 pm PST tomorrow.Let's look at the rules again: - Limit of two captions per entrant - Each caption must be a new comment - No photoshop - Closes at 12:01 pm PST July 16OK? Now, go!UPDATE: OK, the results are in and cybervanig2000 is the winner! Whooo! Hello everyone, I thank you for taking the time to read this. I just bought a "Rover App-Controlled Spy Tank" from Brookstone. I like the tank, but there are a few things that I would like to improve one it. For a spy tank the motors that drive the tank make way too much noise. Does anyone have any tips on how reduce the amount of noise the motors are making? I would like to lower the height of the WiFi antenna, and boost the range the the antenna. Does anyone have any tip on the best way to do this? Here is one of the many reviews on Rover on the web. LINK Thank you again for your time, and any help you might have for me.

Well in this group, we are all about technology that spies would use and things that would be considered "Spy Stuff". Anything made here doesn't have to be something spies actually use, it could be stuff that you think a spy would use. And please no cans on a string. Cool stuff like laser microphones, and stuff like that, most anything is accepted.

If you've played Modern Warfare 2, you know what the Heartbeat Sensor is. It's a small screen that is attached to the side of a firearm and is connected by visible wiring to some other unknown electronic parts. Really, though, I'm looking to recreate the screen concept as a camera + viewing screen that will work in low-light environments, specifically for paintball scenarios. I can make the outer shell and make sure it won't be ruined by a stray shot, but actually connecting the mini camera to the screen and having them work at all is an issue, and even more is having it work at night or in dark areas. I have basically no experience with electronics aside from plugging part A into slot A, part B into slot B, etc. I can work with computers easily, but physical wiring and such is a total blank card for me. I'd also like to know whether it'd require a specific screen to work. I'm completely open to suggestions, as long as the net weight of everything required doesn't exceed a few pounds, as the gun itself is already starting to lean towards the weight of actual firearms.
