"These shirts are hand-made art silkscreened in Northern California on high-quality American Apparel t-shirts." how about an instructable on how these t-shirts are made? I'd love to learn how to screen print shirts that look as professional. btw - what's with the search function on this site? it doesn't exactly...function... very well, does it?

How can I make something to give myself T-Virus injection marks? I'm looking for a way to give myself T-Virus injection marks, like Alice and Angela have in Resident Evil: Apocalypse, without actually injecting my self. The purpose would be for SDCC and eventually tattoos.

Who is the most economical supplier of T-Slot framing, 80/20 The Industrial Erector Set, Faztek, TSlots, Bosch Rexroth, Parco, Inc, or Framing Technology. Framing Technology claims to be the manufacturer, but is there another out there? I just want the best prices.

I've seen a couple of vintage shops using really high quality transfers put on t-shirts to make them look old. (So the t-shirt and transfer look old and soft like a genuine vintage tee) The transfers you get in shops always end up feeling crispy and cheap, and looking glossy. Does anyone know where I can get decent transfers or an alternative method? (Not fabric paint!) Thanks! x

Hi, Does anyone know what kind of joint was used in making of a St. Anthony's (The T Cross) that the Romans traditionally used for crucifixion. I've looked and looked and I just cant find it. I can guess but I don't want to guess. I want to make one that will be about a foot tall for a friend. I hope you can help. Thank you

Heads up on a really important ebay auction, ending in a few hours. The BBC are raising funds for their new wildlife charity with an auction of favours, trips out with the stars and unique items (such as the sofa from Springwatch). Go. Look. Spend.

Instructables just got in a brand new shipment of t-shirts today. Being that I get to count and stock them, I decided to take a little bit of extra time and write up a forum topic about it. Why you ask? Well let me tell you. We have a whole lot of extra t-shirts right now, and I think it would be fun to give one away. So here's the deal: Take a couple of glances at the pictures posted, and let me know how many t-shirts you think we have here at headquarters. The person who is closest gets a t-shirt (and possibly a couple of other goodies). Now here's a little fine print. I know there are a lot of people out there who already have t-shirts and have no desire to have another one. So for those of you who already have a t-shirt, try to win one for someone else. Upon wining this little grab bag, I'll pm the user and ask who they want their t-shirt to go to. The winner is by all means welcome to keep it, but if they already have one, I would hope they will donate it to a user in need, who has always wanted one, but never had the means to get one. One last thing: I'll give everyone two guesses. Any more then two and you disqualify yourself from winning. If anyone manages to get the number spot on, you'll get (what I consider) and awesome grab bag (that I've not yet devised), as well as two additional t-shirts that you can give to whomever. This package is going to be shipped out Monday afternoon, so all entries need to be in by Monday, 1000 PDT! Good Luck. UPDATE 1: The answer to this query, is 493. Now it's time to search through the results and see where people are. Give me a half hour and I'll publish the results. UPDATE 2: FINAL RESULTS! Surprisingly, no one guessed the exact answer. TNEN guessed 495, which just beat out KevinMatchstick by 1. Which makes TNEN our t-shirt champion! -I will be contacting TNEN to see if he wants the t-shirt, or if he is going to be giving it to someone else. For making my laugh, both 9VoltWiseMan and caitlinsdad will get to donate a shirt to someone in need (fine print: it can't be for them, and who they give it to can't already have one). So I will be contacting them as well. Thank you everyone for guessing! Hopefully I have time during the next shipment to take pictures again!

Hello! I have gotten a few instructables shirts from some recent contests and have 4 of the same burnt orange color. They are quite lovely but I was hoping to diversify my color collection. So if anyone has ones they would be willing to trade feel free to post of send a message! Mine are all mediums and I would really like to trade for other mediums. Thanks!

We just got the test shirts back from the printer and ran outside to take some snapshots- aren't they awesome? The women's shirts are navy blue, the regular/men's shirts are steel blue. The rest of the batch should be in shortly, and we'll be mailing them out to the Valentine's contest winners ASAP. Thanks for the patience- I hope they're worth the wait!

Hi there, I'm new here and pretty much to DIY in general (except for general repairs) - I'm planning to build a glass dry-wipe board with a simple aluminium T-Frame and need a bit of basic advice. Not knowing the lingo of the trade, its been very hard to find suppliers/information and my research seems to have gone as far as it will ever get, so I figured it was time to ask for some help. I've managed to find a supplier who stocks 25mm square al tubing and was wondering about the best way to construct the frame. My design for the frame is extremely simple - it's just a t-frame with a single crossbar which will run below the pane of glass. I have access to a reasonably well equiped workshop, but unfortunately no welding gear (I hear that al is difficult to weld anyway) which isn't too much of a problem as I would like to be able to deconstruct the frame. I would appreciate any tips which may be useful to a newbie, but mainly I need to know how to fix the al bars at right angles in a non-permanent manner. The desk which I'm sitting at right now has some sort of threaded inserts at the end of each crossbar, allowing it to be bolted a right angles to the frame. I tried googling these inserts, but couldn't find anything which seemed relevant. If anyone could point me in the direction of these inserts or provide an alternative solution, it would be very much appreciated. Thank you

I recently won the Toy Rods And Connectors Contest as Runner up and got a knex set and a unusual Instructables Robot T-shirt. I looked all over the internet for a shirt with the same design but came up with the usual ones. Is this one special or just a newer one? On the back of the shirt at the top, it says " Instructables".

Get PSYCHED for the new colorful Robot T-shirts! We just got them in and can confirm they are the snazziest shirts around. How do I get a shirt? You can get a shirt in an Instructables Prize pack by winning a contest. So be sure to keep checking in with the contest page and make sure to submit a project!

I'm trying to spray paint a design on a t-shirt. I have my stencil all ready, made out of poster board, but when I spray painted it the shirt just soaked up the paint and made a giant blob on it. Do I have to use fabric paint, because the video I watched on here didn't specify. Any advice?

If I had a T-shirt design that I thought would be great to sell, and giving that many online retailers take ideas, what would the best place to submit my idea to and profit? Can I give my idea to more than one store, or is that "illegal"? I have a pretty funny idea in mind, so any help is appreciated! Thanks!
