Can someone make me some code for an arduino?

I need the code to make a white LED pulsate, reaching the peak every one second, and and the other way around. I need it for a night light i am making with an ARDUINO duemilanove. If someone wants to be really helpful, write me some code like this, only the throbbing starts at 10 at night and stops at 6 in the morning. Then i can make a throbbing apple logo to put on my door to show that i am sleeping! :-)

555 timer using PWM to throb an LED?

I'm trying extremely hard to figure out how to make an led throb with a 555 timer using PWM. What I have figured out how to do so far is how to make a 555 circuit with a potentiometer and manually throb it with the pot. But I don't want to just keep turning the pot to throb the led. Is there a I can put a potentiometer in the circuit to control the speed of the throb rather than dim the led? I need to use PWM for the throbbing. And the throbbing speed needs to be adjustable with a potentiometer. I'm really new to circuits, but I'm learning a lot. Can someone point me in the right direction? This is an extremely important project for me.

How do I make a set of say 4 incandescent bulbs pulsate in brightness?

I would like to make a display where incandessant bulbs throb like they are being powered by a varying vlotage. The bulbs would be 75 watt or 25 watt depending on what I end up doing. I am even considering some 30 watt edison type bulbs. How do I make a controller for something like this?

How can I produce infrasound using a bunch of piezo's?

The industrial music pioneers Throbbing Gristle reportedly created something that was capable of producing sound at frequencies below the threshold of human hearing (infrasound) by wiring together a bunch of piezo's. I'd love to do this myself, but don't currently have the time and resources to experiment myself. Any chance that there's someone out there that has replicated this? Preferably someone willing to write up an instructable?

Flashing/Pulsating 10mm Red LED voltage

I just finally got the throbbing/flashing/pulsating LED, but a 9v battery doesn't seem to be cutting it. I bought the 10mm LED from Radioshack here. I was just wondering how high I could go in terms of power. I was thinking about a 10v DC, and go to a 12v. But I don't want to blow the LED. I was also wondering how I can get the LED to flash slowly, like it was "breathing". I started off with a 1000µf 16v capacitor, then went down to 470µf 25v capacitor, with no significant change. I also have a 470ohm resistor that I got with my 100 pack of white LEDs. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

USB devices on my PC cause 'Power surge'? Answered

I have Microsoft Windows XP sp2 running on a dell machine. Whenever I plug my camera in to get pictures off of it, the keyboard and/or mouse stop functioning and i receive an alert that says "power surge on hub port" or something similar. In order to get my keyboard and/or mouse to work again, i have to unplug my camera from the USB port and reset all ports. This just started happening today, even after I restarted. The error message in the picture below keeps coming up and closing itself in some kind of loop as I type this... Why does my camera cause other USB devices to malfunction when I plug it in the? Why does that error keep popping up every half a second? And, on top of all this, my tooth is throbbing for no apparent reason :( Help! -Nepheron

What is wrong with my girlfriends ear?

Me and her went to go eat lunch/dinner at her dads. On the way there, she said her ear was hurting and it was red (hour: 1). (hour 2) now her ear was throbbing and she was basically crying when I touch it and it was starting to look like a burn. I was thinking that it was from her curling iron, but she said she didn't touch it. (hour 4) after lunch/dinner we go to her moms house to hang out and her ear is still throbbing and has a white burn like mark on her ear cartilage. (hour 4.5) she puts ice on it and still hurts, after about 10 minutes after the ice, it started to ooze out some green pus like discharge, yes from her cartilage. she doesn't have it pierced. it seriously looks like it could had been from a curling iron except for the discharge... so she takes some pain killers and tries to go to bed. (hour 5) me and her mom take her to go to the hospital to see what is going on when she it was hurting so bad she was literally crying.(hour 5.25 - 7) we wait in the lobby to be checked out by the doctor, in that time, she was in so much pain that she barely talked. and if we did, she didn't want to talk about her ear with the discharge still oozing out.(hour 7.5) doctor evaluated that its an infection of some sort but has never seen it, so he prescribes her some antibiotic pills and drops. the drops to be put directly onto the sore.(hour 15) in the morning she shows me her ear and it was kinda dried up, but still pretty liquidy. it looked the same for about the rest of the day. she said that it wasn't hurting as near as bad and i could actually touch it and not have her cry or wince in pain. What could this be? and how and why did it happen in less than 12 hours? could it be from the curling iron but just a weird reaction to heat? I will see if I can get some pictures from her to post. but this is what she said hopefully about the ones on her phone (i took some with her ipod) "I deleted them because they are gross."... understandable because they were... very...

Can I build headphones out of drivers???

Ok... my plan is to use jackhammer noise blockers (im pretty sure we've all seen the mod) and 'install' 1 inch tang band drivers.my concerns: 1. will it be too loud I am the kind of person who prefers to not have throbbing ears when I am done listening 2. how can I power the drivers. these are headphones, so I need a portable source of power. I am new to speakers, and I dont know what type of power the drivers use. So, what I am asking is what type of battery do I need to use. 3. how do I set up stereo sound w/ 2 speakers in a headphone jack. there are instructions for how to connect a single speaker to a jack, but I am going to be using 2 4. any ideas on how to make it look cooler, paint ideas (spray paint only, no airbrush), where/how to put a battery container in the system, and how to make that look good.stuff: Drivers:http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000KGSYPW/ref=ord_cart_shr?_encoding=UTF8&m;=A385A0XNQBW8HY&v;=glance headset: either 1.http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000VU8U2E/ref=ord_cart_shr?_encoding=UTF8&m;=A17MC6HOH9AVE6&v;=glance -or- 2.http://www.amazon.com/Peltor-H10A-Professional-Canceling-Earmuff/dp/B00009LI4K/ref=cm_lmf_tit_13_rdssss0 any constructive comments welcome, but, please dont just say its impossible, unless you are absolutely postive it isnt
