Amazon voucher give-away - WINNERS!

I won a prize by posting a comment on a tool blog. The prize is a $10 Amazon voucher. Unfortunately, I can't redeem it on Amazon.co.uk, and it would be swallowed by postage if I ordered from the US. So, I have a voucher to give away. To win, have a look at this topic started by Acidbass, and then post a verse for an Instructables boom-de-yada song here, complete with links (see the verse I posted there). Deadline: 4th December. Judging - the "best" verse will be selected by the capricious whim of Acidbass and myself. The winner will be announced in this topic, and receive the prize by PM. WINNERS! In reverse order: 3rd goes to Wasagi 2nd goes to RedNeckEngineer and 1st, with the prize voucher code, is.... GOODHART! Well done, that ibler! 2nd and 3rd get no cash prize, but Acidbass will include their verses in the video. Keep posting good ideas, though! I think the winner is Goodhart because he followed the rules made a catchy verse and had the guts to send me a recording of his verse that he made by himself to place in the movie. 2nd place is RedneckEngineer because he got creative with the verse. 3rd is Wasagi because he followed the instructions and did a very good job. The 2nd and 3rd place prizes are that their verses get to be in the movie :-)

$600 Shapeways Printing Credit for $300

Hello all, I have acquired $600 in printing vouchers to Shapeways from a couple contests, they are actually divided into three separate vouchers of $100, $250, and $250. I'm sure I can find something awesome to use the money to print but as I'm in college now I could better spend this towards something else (books!!). I'd be willing to do %40 percent off for an individual voucher (so 60 for 100 or 150 for 250) or %50 percent off for all 3 together. Feel free to message me if interested. Thanks!

Pro Membership Code Expiration

When you receive a pro membership code for being featured on the homepage or winning a contest, does the code ever expire? I have a couple from about a year ago that I wanted to pass on to others, but I'd hate to give them something that doesn't work.  Is there an expiration period, or should the code work forever? Thanks!

Pro Membership

I just noticed that my pro membership is not showing. I have always had my pro membership roll over when I have gift vouchers. I have plenty and it seems it did not roll over. There is also a message that someone placed on my page that my pro membership is not showing. Thanks in advance for your help and all your hard work!  sunshiine

Remember CNC machining the prize?

Hi,  Wonder if anyone can help.  I remember sometime in the last 3 years there was a competition where one of the prizes was a cash voucher for a machining service. Like Shapeways but for CNC machining.  Just wondered if anyone remembers what the service was called? I have been asked to re create a spinning wheel and thought it would be cool to use there services for a part which would be very difficult for me to make otherwise.  Any help would be ace. :)

My new website... Killerjackalope.co.nr

Hey everybody,  I've quietly been working on my site, complete redesign and whatnot since it needed it and because my old host folded at some point.  There are a few of my projects on there, my photography's up there and there's a blog - read the latest post and grab a free coffee from starbucks tomorrow if you're in the UK, just print the voucher.  I'd love feedback on the design etc and the content.  Cheers, Adam.  http://killerjackalope.co.nr/  All the images below are related, which could be construed as a little worrying.

Twelve-year old lands dream job

A schoolboy has beaten thousands of other youngsters to land every child's dream job - official taster for a sweet company.Harry Willsher's chief responsibilities will be eating Love Hearts, Refreshers and Cola Bottles in the name of research to make sure they are up to the standard expected by the average confectionery connoisseur. The 12-year-old won the coveted post by emailing a description of his favourite sweet, the Drumstick lolly, to Swizzels Matlow, a confectionery company based in Derbyshire. He's getting "sacks" of sweets posted to his house, a personalised overall, a tour of the sweet factory and £500 in shopping vouchers.(Plus the number of a decent dentist?)Daily Mail article.

Confused Crocodile

I'm a confused crocodile...I wanted to compete in the 3d money clip challenge and will still design something for it :) . After numerous times of trying to make the software work it just didn't so I'm going to try to use some other CADs that I have. With that being said here lies my confusion about this contest. The prize(s) for the 3d money clip contest is a $100.00 credit for five winners. I went to the website and there's a membership fee and if you aren't a member then the cost of services is higher. Plus, there's an hourly charge for the services and I'm basically confused as to the benefit of a $100.00 voucher/credit. Would that be enough to make a 3d print of the 3d model for the winners of the contest?

Electronic Prizes and International Winners

Hi all, (and particularly mods if they're reading), I'm a fairly new non-US member to the site, and whilst I love that you open up many of your contests to the whole globe, I was wondering what steps you take (if any) to ensure your top prizes prizes such as Xboxes, iPads, tools, kitchenware etc are as accessible to those of us in different countries. This is particularly relevant for games consoles etc where chips can be different, games can be region encoded and TVs may not be able to display NTSC, but it does apply to anything that gets plugged in. Yes, I'm aware of voltage converters and plug adapters, but I've had mixed results with these over the years. So I was wondering: If one is lucky enough to get such an awesome prize - if there is an option to get the goods from the home country? If so - can this please be added to the standard comp info / rules page? If not, would instructables be willing to look into this, or possibly voucher alternatives against the product? Many thanks for reading!
