WATER FUEL! WATER AS FUEL!

WATER FUEL WATER FUEL WATER FUEL WATER FUELpossibly someone'll poke a critical hole in this, but it's seriously cool anyway. An edit;i'm not seriously suggesting that we all abandon fossil fuels as a source of energy, nor am i convinced that this system is genuine. There is, after all, no such thing as a free lunch, nor is there free energy. However, i DO think it's worth examining in a critical light, which is why i posted it here.

Water deionizer

Hi I was wondering if any one had a good idea of how to build a water deionizer.I'm just starting a car valeting business and need deionized water for final rinsing of cars to prevent water spots as we are in an ultra hard water area and normal rinsing leaves water spots no matter how well we chamois it. I have a 1000L IBC tank that we use to collect recycled and rain water which i want to use to rinse off the cars. As we are in a water controlled zone we have to recycle and filter our water and also it is a ultra hard water area the filters to deionize the water for rinsing cost around £90 plus postage and only last 10-15 cars which is to really killing our business. It is costing us around £9 a car to just rinse them and on a basic wash we only charge £10 which as you can see is not viable. Thanks in advance

Water Bridge

I was reading this article on how scientist made a bridge out of water, just liquid water, using a high voltage of electricity. They flipped the switch and the water from one glass(well i'm not sure what they put it in, i am assuming a glass beaker) over the very air between the beakers and into the other glass, held up by nothing at all. You won't be driving cars across this thing anytime soon, they biggest they could make it span was 25mm. Supposedly the current restructured the water molecules to create it. I do know they used DC current though. Also the bridge only last for 45 minutes, because of heat, which as the article states, it went from 20(degrees) C to more than 60(degrees)CQuoted from the article,http://www.physorg.com/news110191847.html)Upon investigating the phenomenon, the scientists found that water was being transported from one beaker to another, usually from the anode beaker to the cathode beaker. The cylindrical water bridge, with a diameter of 1-3 mm, could remain intact when the beakers were pulled apart at a distance of up to 25 mm.I'm not sure how much current was going threw them but I would be amazed and appreciate it if someone could find out, experimenting or however they could.

gray water storage to water lawn ?

I live on a  small farm and  was  thinking  of   using  gray water  towater   my lawn and  field. I  have  5 kids   in the  house and we  wash a tremendous  amount fo  laundry.  My thought s were to   install a large   tank  behind  the house in  the edge of the field and  piping  my  gray water  and  rain water from the  house into the  tank  and  use for irrigation. My concerns  are   1. i have heard   that   if you allow    gray   water to stand for   as little as  24 hours   it will  go septic which is bad. What of  you  placed  some  type  of  small pump to circulate   the water  say   three  rounds  minimum   every   eight hours   or  so . Could  this  stop  things  form   going septic 2.the goal is   that if   it is raining  today    i need to store the water  at least a few  days    without   itgoing  septic to benefit me. Any ideas  anyone?

I need to make a irrigation system that lime won't block and will help cut weed growth?

It can use a timer or electronic value but it must be cheap and run on no more than 12 volt. We live in an area of hard water, I have tried the soaker hoses but they block with lime very very quickly. The water will be from a water butt, so low pressure I was wondering about drilling 1mm holes in 1/2" pipe and leave it underground like a soaker hose.

Looking for a 5V valve to be driven by ARDUINO

Hi everybody, I am working on a project to make an automatic watering system driven by arduino. I am looking for a valve which I could operate without any extra power supply but the 5V from the ARDUINO. It would be perfect if the valve could be in the range of the 6mm for tubes connections. As my project will rely on gravity for water movements, I don't want to use a pump or whatever active device. Just some standard batteries connected to ARDUINO. Do some of you know such a valve? I have looked on the net without any success. I have found loads of watering projects using arduino but none with the same phylosphy. If you know one, please let me know. Regards,

Water rockets are fairly new to water warrior technology. To reduce our carbon footprint, water rockets are built using plastic bottles. This forum topic talks about the operation of standard water rockets and launchers, how they can be used in a water war, construction of water rocket launchers, rockets, and add-ons like water balloons on the tips of rockets, ammo clips, and grips as well.

Water dancing in a Speaker

At 6 volts,* the speaker cone filled with water produces standing waves. at 10 v,  maxing out the speaker, water droplets splash up.  i coated the paper cone of 1 speaker with liquid electrical tape to waterproof it.   an identical speaker went unmodified.  water doesnt seem to harm the paper cone. both speakers work with water. when directed down into a bucket of water,  sound stirs the water. * chopped dc voltage from an ordinary ac to dc transformer

water pump idea

I hypothesise that when is heat applied to a suitable sealed vessel, filled with water, and having a pipe into the base of the container below the water level, that when the water gets hot enough, it will exit the pipe under pressure. if anyone has any input or had experiance with this kind of a thing or knows of a device which works in the same or similar manner, i would like to hear from you.  i though it could be a way of moving water with no moving parts or access to electricity, motors etc. thank Kim.C.S.B
