I'm wanting to make a costume for Halloween, the idea is called Little Miss Slaughter Hood, the idea is red riding hood with the wolf as a hood, i want to create a hood/cloak to look like a wolf head with just the top jaw and head as the hood. Any help as to how to make this would be awesome!!!

Okay, so we've got critters in our attic...Probably Wolf Rats or something....I've tried using a large bucket with a board ramp. On top of the bucket I've got a towel laid across the top. For bait, I've used bread with peanut butter. My trap idea just doesn't seem to work.... The animals steal the bread without fallin' in! They're smart.... Any other ideas? Thanks! :)

A while ago I submited an instructable titled "Guides to Drawing Wolves" that was a collection of four wolf drawing tutorials that I had found helpfull along with my own explanations and reccomendations to go along with each one. I've designed and cut a set of badges for local district's Cub leaders. In case you don't know, Akela is the leader of the wolf pack, Raksha is the mother wolf, Baloo is the bear, Bagheera the black panther, Kaa is the serpent and Mang the bat (that's my own badge). Full disclosure: the Raksha badge is just the Akela badge, flipped left-for-right.  So I'm lazy... The hare is nothing to do with scouting, that's just because Kitewife likes hares. Hey, I'm just wondering if I were to plug in two fans rated at 12V .1A to a 12V 1A power supply, would the extra .80A will overload out the fans? Or will the fans only draw what it will need? And for other simple devices like LEDs, will this apply?

I was wondering if it would be possible to put a different era carburetor on a 1952 Briggs and Stratton model N? The current carburetor is shot and don't want to shell out $100 for a NOS carburetor. So my thought was putting a different era carburetor on it but din't know if it would would work or if it is a good idea?

Okay. i just got back from a vacation yesterday, and u will NEVER beleive what happened to me. so, here i am, hiking, minding my own business. when suddenly, a gray wolf, TACKLED ME! but, it never attacked me!!! instead, it stared into my eyes, and after what seemed like forever, but was only 1 minute, it got off me, gestured to me with its head. it led me to an odd cave. in it, i saw a large patch of light... and i figured "eh, what the hell's the worst that can happen?", so i stepped into it, with the wolf beside me. then, well even though u guys aremt gonna believe me, i saw something. i saw me, a long time from now, living with pet wolves. and i was actually happy. then after that i was back home. odd, idnit??

Looking for a power supply for my USB Hub, and I think I might found it. My PSU in my computer has 5V and 2A for VSB and another one with 5V and 25A. So my question is: does a Molex or floppy connector give 5V and 2A? Any power issues connecting this to my hub?

I know that dogs and/or wolves have different and/or fewer digestive enzymes in their systems than humans.  I also know that they have no enzymes in their saliva and therefore no need for chewing.  What I want to know is what enzymes they do have.  I want to know what things they can get nutrients from.  Wolves in the wild eat the stomach contents of their prey, but do they absorb nutrients from it? Also is it their prey's enzymes that let them digest the stomach contents, or their own?

What I do!? When I was wrighting my Math homework and my stupid pencil lead broke, few up in my eye! And its stuck! I've tried watering it out, but no luck. Looked in the mirror and theres a faint black line under my eye (not on/in it, I mean in between). Will the pencil lead do something bad to my eye? Will I need special treatment to remove it? Is it possible my body "somehow" remove that lead in my eye?

I struck basically struck a curb (an unmarked road island really) going 17 mph roughly and blew out my front rim. I broke a collar bone because of the accident. Anyways I was wondering if the frame is okay I looked at it and there was no visible cracks anywhere. Its a cheap Schwinn frame and it got me wondering if it would be safe to put a new rim on and go. Question? Can I be held legally responsible for this injury as I was the one who posted the project in question?

I was just watching the Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup (woo), and my dad turned on picture in picture so we could see what another channel was broadcasting, but as a default it started on the same channel. The weird thing was the picture in picture was a full 1-2 seconds ahead (the audio was synched correctly with the main picture). It's an HDTV connected to a cable box. This is pretty much the least important question ever, but I found it weird and wondered if anyone had any ideas.

The problem is this: I found another laptop power supply rated at the same voltage but slightly different amperes and wattage. Specs: Acer 19 V 3.42 A 65 Watts (guessing due to V x A = W) HP 19 V 3.95 A 75 Watts I tested both and their voltage seems fine and nothing wrong with the older 75 watt power supply with two pongs. Will there be an issue with the wattage differences? And will the amperes be a problem if my laptop is rated for 19 V, 3.42 A?

Is this a flaw that is apparent to all laptop lock using keys or just that one model? Can I safely use my off brand Certified Data key laptop lock without worries of this flaw applying to my lock? Also, it uses a round type key with multiple drilled depression on the side.

I want to make a plushie My Little Pony and I'm going to need a good amount of hair to do it. The only thing I've found so far is buying hair extensions, which would get very expensive very quickly, and most places don't have the colors I need. I want the colors to match the Friendship is Magical cartoon as closely as possible. The first one I do will be Fluttershy, so I'm looking for a light pink. I would prefer to spend less than $20 on the hair since I still have to get all the other materials as well. Is that possible?

I have read most of the homemade forge instructables posted here, but I don't think any of them would work for me, because in my fascist city, you are not allowed to burn ANYTHING except for cooking purposes (technically even fire pits are illegal). My idea was to get a cheap grill lid that I can put on my charcoal grill. I would then cut holes in it for air flow (a hairdryer, of course) and an opening. Would this be an effective forge? I need it for detempering, annealing and tempering blades. Also, what fuel would you recommend using (as in, a certain kind of charcoal/wood)? I am making throwing knives and I have every other thing I need. I'll probably make a slideshow when I'm done, as making knives is a pretty well 'ibled subject.

Long story short, in melbourne australia i have organised a group called citizen patrol group we basically patrol trains, buses, streets etc and help people in need and remove the trouble makers we do this in super hero costumes (not as silly as it sounds we are creating a character worth looking up to and bringing innocence back to children through good old fashioned super heroes) my problem is we are aware it can be dangerous but commercially made ballistic vests are illegal in my country i want the best protection for my team mates and am looking for GOOD QUALITY methods of creating one or if there is a legal loop hole that will allow us our right to protect our bodies.

Well, whenever I plug in my earphones to either my laptop or my desktop, I would hear static noise. Rather, on my second desktop's amplifier I've hear little or mostly no static at all (from a sound card, through a audio plug to RCA into the amplifier) and as well seems to be little suppressed using a toroid band on the plug of the earphones. Through little research, I've found out its the grounded prong fault, where different resistance causes this noises. So, without either doing A) REMOVE THE GROUNDED PONG or B) Grounded loop isolator, unless I could find a cheap one, how would I stop this problem? Excuse me Please: I would like to ask for some assistance in creating a circuit/project that will be for a plushy whose eyes would "blink" with on/off and/or/both the more creepy "blink" by dimming (down to 25% lit, back to 100%) of two LEDs I would guess a slightly more advance aspect of this project would be to put some randomness into the blinking. and the thought occurs to me that through the use of an ardrino, which I have zero experience with personally, would allow for the blinking, as well as sound reproduction too. {e.g. growls from the glowy-eyed wolf plushy} while I am trying to keep the plushy to a limited amount of complexity, and would like as simple a circuit to accomplish the blinking, the ardrino idea and the advanced features that could be given to the plushy I find very provocative,... but it is my ignorance which is not realizing what it is I am asking, so I would rely upon the collective experience here-in. For those who it may concern, thanks if you can help. Got an Toshiba 460CDT laptop that has everything inside (HDD, RAM, battery, etc), but there is one thing that concern me, the power supply. I didn't came with it, being super cheap (3$), so now I'm in need for a 15V 3A power supply which I don't have. So for my question, would another power supply, like a wall wart, would work with this old laptop? Is there a difference using a wall wart or a laptop power supply to power a laptop? Would any power supply, being 15V 3A or 10.8V recharge the 10.8V 3600mAh battery even if its a few units off? And say if the battery was dead when I do find a power supply, would this old laptop still use the power supply to power up the computer without the battery?

For those who may it concern, thanks if you can help.So, I have recently found another CMO chip, one strangely on an old modem + audio card, and I want to use it use it on an motherboard I'm going to flash (fear of failure, so I'm going to hot swap with another one it if I can). When My PS2 burnt out, I looked into it and figured it overheated. I never cleaned it so I wasn't suprised. However, that experience made me religiously clean my brand new 80gb PS3 (with backwards compatibility), which was a joint effort xmas present from my whole family and my girlfriend and her family.(organized by her of course). So this xmas I got three of the newest releases I've been wanting. After 2 weeks I finally get enough free time to play. I turn it on, complete the latest update, install the game, and when I go to play it...it turns off. I tried to turn it back on and just like the other 600 posts i read, the light turned green, quickly after that it turned yellow or amber,  the beeped a few times while turning to and flashing red indefinitely. Everytime I try again it does the same thing. Someone please help.

Hi, i living in Bosnia and Herzegowina in Southeast Europe (probably you heared for that country if you are living in USA, Barrack Obama loves us!). I live in city usually (not my house), but on holidays in my village (something like mountain). I readed a lot off books at home about animals, and i love animals. I like to watch them, play with them, take photo of them...) and because i am living in village with my old parents both more than 60 years :P and my brother I cant play with anyone expect animals. My brother is lazy and just plays some games like CS and Tetris on laptop and doesn't like experiments and animals. I am 16 years old. I have seen lot off animals in my mini forest at my property and at forest near my property lot off animals like: birds, bats, frogs, bugs and i rarely i have seen: rabbit, wolf, wild pig, squirrel... So how to attract and catch any animal easy with 100% success without buying any trap expect buying something really cheap under 3$ or using something found in forest? (BUT SOMETHING AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE SO THAT MY FATHER WONT RECOGNIZE TRAP, I WANT TO CATCH ANY ANIMAL EXPECT BUGS, SPIDERS, FROGS).AT LEAST A BIRD EVEN IN WINTER HOW TO CATCH?
