A Read Later button Answered

Hey!
I just want to suggest that the instructables team adds a "read later" (or something similar like "want to do") button that bookmarks an instructable you're interested so you can check it out later because sometimes you want to build a project and don't have the materials on hand,so with a read later button you can come back to the instructable later without a lot of searching for the exact one you were planning on doing.

Not sure if this is in the right place so please redirect if it isn't.
Thanks!

I simply download the instructable I am interested in and save them in a separate folder. This way you can go through the instructable anytime you want even without a net connection. "Read Latter" also grow in size as "Favorite" with time

I think this is a nice idea!
As an alternative you could use the collections for this. You can create a collection and call it "Read Later" and just keep is as a draft and add the interesting stuff there.

I think what the author is after is a button on the thumbnails, which, say, you could click as you browsed the "recent" feeds on your phone on the train.

You wouldn't have to open & download the project (saving time and data on your phone), and you would have the list available (without having to search back over hours or days of projects) to read properly at your leisure when you are home or at work and using broadband.

(Which, by the way, I think is a good idea.)

(It would make a cool "pro" feature.)

thx for the reply!

I do know about the favorite button and in fact i do use it to achieve the same purpose as a 'read later' button but it's kind of annoying to put so many instructables as your favorite when in fact all you want to do is read it later.

For example; I sometimes favorite several instructables about soldering hoping i'll learn a new technique but , sometimes, they all use the same old techniques. Therefore they are supposedly considered popular and achieve false ratings...(but this is somehow a minor issue).

In addition to that, adding a "read later" button will make it much easier to compare instructables and even easier to browse(adding "read later" on the thumbnail) without having to wait for the instructable to load and then favorite.Besides, sometimes the titles are interesting but the instructable isn't.
