Adapters to use?
hi i was instructed to use 5v 150ma power supply, for a device i want to power but i dont have that particular adapter. Can i use an 5v 2A adapter for the device. Is it safe to use this adapter?????????

YES it is Safe, the device will take whatever current it needs weather it be 120ma or 300ma...
The important parameter is the 5 Volts, that needs to be within 5%.
GO forth and adapt :-)

I can't speak to the particular use, which *may or not require specific power supply characteristics, (some devices require very quiet supplies like linears, others can run off wallwarts, which are most often switchers) but as long as it's regulated, probably.
In terms of current, it will only deliver the current a load demands, based on the loads' effective resistance, so a 2A supply with a load that draws 150mA means that you'll just have a lot of what we call "head room"
