Adverising complaint Answered

Hi, First I want to make it clear love this site. I have no complaints about the site or the instructables in it. My issue is the advertising. I understand that advertising pays for the site and I have no problem with that either. But I am currently getting bombarded with "Vote Conservative" ads. Not good. Advertising products is fine, but politics is a bit inappropriate. I figure that the ads are from a third-party advertising group so it's not the fault of instructables.com, but you might want to have a word with the people supplying the advertising since this sort of thing can really put people off. Especially when it's one-sided like this.

These will have been targeted because of his location - we've just had an election in the UK.

You need to send any concerns about the suitablity of advertising to service@instructables.com (if it's any consolation, I doubt that particular advert is going to swing any last-minute victory - readers of this site are not a major group in the UK).
