All steps not working Answered

I have been on instructables for a while and I have never had any problems, but recently, I cant access Allsteps i tried everything including typing the url myself. All that happens is that it takes me to the first step/introduction page, I would greatly appreciate it if Someone could help me solve this problem.

Thanks,

Matt

"I think you've been the beneficiary of a harmless bug, or of somebody flicking the wrong "switch" somewhere."

Just so you guys know. There is actually a bug with the pro-member all-steps benefit.

The problem with the change is that unless somebody attempts to update their profile, the change will never take affect.

Just wanted to let you know.

You are saying that it doesn't default pro members to the all steps view...correct?

That's not a bug, users have to change it themselves in their profiles if they want it.

Not quite.

What I'm saying, is that for non-pro members it doesn't stop letting them view all-steps default untill they try updating their profile.

Ah hah...well, that sounds like a bug that's actually in favor of a non-pro user, so I'm just gonna let this loophole slide by.

Sound ok?

He joined last year, he's complaining now about not being able to view all steps on one page as a non-Pro member. You fixed something recently?

It's been that way for a long time, perhaps he's just speaking up about it now...

This isn't the only topic on the subject - other people have had the feature for a long time, only recently does it seem to have finally been denied to some of them.

You shouldn't have been able to view Allsteps, this seems to have been a wee fault that someone recently fixed.
Sorry.

Officially, All Steps is a pro benefit.

I think you've been the beneficiary of a harmless bug, or of somebody flicking the wrong "switch" somewhere.
