Amd Gaming? Answered

I was planning to purchase parts for a budget gaming system, around $600. Everyone says that Amd processors are a lot cheaper than Intel (which is true), but they say that the performance isn't nearly as good. What do they mean by this? Are they decent gaming processors? Thanks.

i would say yes all the way on amd's cpus i pefer amd because if the motherboard dies the cpu CAN be put in another unlike intel.

Why can't Intel can't do that? Anyways I already got the computer and it is working fine for gaming! Got to say I am not disappointed one bit! Sorry about the late response. For some reason this didn't show in my comments box until now.

ive had bad luck with intel and its VERY hard to find another cpu unless you have people who know where you can get them
