Android App issue Answered

Have had an ad come up when I get on the site suggesting I download the new app for my mobile device. I can't download it as my tablet mfgr (Nabi2) doesn't have an agreement with Google Play. Any chance you might offer it through Amazon also?
I am not experienced enough with Android system to try work arounds.
Thanks...

... or just stop slamming the add in our faces, even when we have the app installed?

Can you elaborate? I don't experience ads on my Android Instructables App

Not ads *on* the app, but ads *for* the app. If I'm browsing on a mobile device, I sometimes get a full-screen ad for the app when I try and look at an instructable, especially if I'm using a wifi connection other than my own.

I get this on both my iPod and my Android tablet, even though both have the relevant app installed. I wouldn't mind a banner ad, or something at the top of the "related" column, but the whole screen is annoying, and disrupts my "flow" around the site.

On your mobile device, is this the full site or the m.instructables.com mobile site?

When I go from a "normal" page (such as this one) to an instructable, the site sometimes jumps to the "m." site, and that is when I get the ad. If it stays on the normal site, I don't get the ad.

As I said, this is more likely to happen if I am actually being mobile with my mobile devices, and, since my iPod lives in my pocket, I see it more often on that device.
