I don't think the craft will die out soon. There are still some left. And judging from the fact that some of them have websites, (and especially the pictures) not all off them seem to be that old. There seem to be workshops and various courses, so there will certainly be hobbyists.

Besides, clogs are perfect for gardening (I use Swedish clogs to walk in my chicken coop, they sell them in garden centers) so there is still some market for them.

That's correct, lots of folks wear clogs for gardening, you'll still find them for sale in any gardening center. They're really not just for farmers, folk dancers and tourists.

That said, I'm not really all that keen on buying that factory either...

However the website you're linking to is Belgian.

yes, it is was one of the first links in Google. It just has a list of links to various clog makers in various countries.
