Are DDR2 RAM chips compatible with DDR3 slots?
There is this motherboard that I want that has DDR3 slots but I only have DDR2 RAM chips Can I put the DDR2 chips in the Motherboard?

No, only DDR3. Oh well, ram isn't that expensive compared to the rest to the computer.

Nope. If I remember correctly they have a different number/arrangement of pins to stop people using them in the wrong slots as they're incompatible.
