Are you in Florida? Answered

At the moment, this is an extremely idle thought, but are there any active Instructablers in Florida, or cool science/tech places to visit with a group of teens studying physics? (apart from Canaveral, of course).

I am in the "wouldn't it be cool if" stage of planning a school trip with a colleague - we want to go and take selfies with rocketeers, but we need more than that to justify the trip as educational.  Official venues are good, but it would be kind of cool to be able to take them off-piste.

Please do not take this question as a guarantee that the trip will happen, or that we will have time to meet with everybody who answers.

You could tour Sally Corporation, downtown Jax. Perhaps not physics, but animatronics are cool!

Sorry, but Florida is a destination for retirement, university spring break, and for New Yorkers trying to beat the cold weather(snowbirding)...

Try contacting this hackerspace https://familab.org/

Disneyworld/EPCOT is probably an hour or two drive from the Space Coast.

Oh, I know where the tourist stuff is - we went there mumble years ago - I was just hoping to pull some "maker favours" and get the kids that bit extra experience.
