Automotive reindeer antlers
Every year at Christmas I put antlers on my car. (Don’t necessarily do the red nose... Rudolf isn’t the only reindeer...) The store-bought antlers were fine on my old Saturn, but they look too puny on the Jeep that replaced it. I’d like to make my own, but they can’t be so tall or so wide that they’re an inconvenience - or catch too much air and break (or break the windows). Any ideas on how to pursue this utterly frivolous project?

Since you've got plenty of time, why not hunt up antler-like branches?
You won't get a perfectly-matched pair, but you'll be noticed...

I just wanted to say that I am impressed by the fact you're thinking about your holiday projects several months in advance.
I mean, like a few weeks ago, you were asking this forum about ideas for a Halloween project.
And in the, uh, what I believe (what we believe?) to the present time, the time of this writing... it's only April.
That means Halloween and Christmas, those are like around 6 and 8 months, respectively, into the future, by my reckoning.
Way to be proactive!

If it were me, I think I'd try bent pvc to make antlers. Some instructables that might help:

That. Looks. AWESOME. Not too heavy... not a lot of flat surfaces that will catch a lot of wind. THANKS!!!
