BUG: Disappearing AND Duplicating Comments... Answered

This is actually 2 intermittent problems...

Disappearing Comments: After typing a comment and then clicking on the "Post Comment" button, the comment does NOT post.

Duplicating Comments: This problem happens when typing 2 comments on one page. I'll post comment "A", and then after typing comment "B" and clicking the "Post Comment" button, comment "B" does NOT post, instead comment "A" (from earlier), is appearing in place of comment "B". So it looks like I typed the same comments on a page twice (which I didn't).

This doesn't happen all the time. It happens intermittently, and after having spoken to other members, I know its not just me who is experiencing these issues. Now its virtually impossible to show in a screenshot that a comment didn't post, but I was able to take a screenshot to show the duplicating comment issue. You'll see that it looks like I typed the same comment twice, even though I didn't. So I had to delete the second comment and re-type what I had intended to post.

Using: Mac OS X, Safari 5.1.4

That seems to happen to me when I post anything with Firefox in an UBUNTU environment.

I have not experienced the double posting, but I have seen comments not show up. Sometimes the comments take a little while to show up after hitting 'post'. If you don't see your comment immediately try refreshing the page.

I've filed these both as a bug report.

Ok, we'll call that a "work around" (with an emphasis on "work") ;)

So I have to exit the page first before I can post a second comment?

That does not always work.
You have to close the page tab completely
and then restart a new tab.

I searched everywhere for the post we discussed this before, but I couldn't find it (hence the reason I made the new topic)...

Comments have been disappearing for years, more recently they've been interfering with each other (or in a more obvious way at least).
