Battery terminology? Answered
Just to clear up possible confusion: you stated
“DC electricity is the type of current that comes from batteries, which are basically special containers that store a predetermined amount of voltage.”
A battery stores a predetermined amount of power, not voltage. It releases that power as electrical current at a particular voltage over a certain amount of time.
For example, a triple-A battery has the same voltage rating as a double-A battery, but the AA stores more power.
