It's all about the journey for the rainwater in this German building.

That is a gorgeous building. I wish we had more buildings like that in Louisville. I feel like this city is so bland. Too many people trying to live a stereotypical American dream life in all their houses that look the same because the neighbors all have committees that make sure everyone's home and front lawn are "up to snuff". :P That's yet another reason I would have moved to Miami if it didn't cost so much. The buildings there are so interesting. They have so many different styles and it's all so colorful and it makes me very happy. :D

Ooo, that reminds me of a song *LOL*

Little boxes on the hillside,
Little boxes made of ticky tacky,
Little boxes on the hillside,
Little boxes all the same.
There's a green one and a pink one
And a blue one and a yellow one,
And they're all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.

And the people in the houses
All went to the university,
Where they were put in boxes
And they came out all the same,
And there's doctors and lawyers,
And business executives,
And they're all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.

And they all play on the golf course
And drink their martinis dry,
And they all have pretty children
And the children go to school,
And the children go to summer camp
And then to the university,
Where they are put in boxes
And they come out all the same.

And the boys go into business
And marry and raise a family
In boxes made of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.
There's a green one and a pink one
And a blue one and a yellow one,
And they're all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.

It looks really nice, but how does it sound?

Imagine if your room was next to those short gutters below the "trumpet". All that piddling water noise - you'd never be off the toilet!

Flashback! My brother and I in youth used to draw stuff like this, "noisy" Rube Goldberg "recyclers" that use toilets as input and the drive in window of a Hamburger Store as the output. (LMAO). By noisy I mean with comic talk balloons with sounds like "pbpbpbpbpfft!" , "Splat!", "Glug!", "Ploop!", "Honk!", "Toot!", etc. In those drawings, "It" often "hit the fans" too, but many more horns.

Yes, that would be a problem.

At the camp I went to several summers in a row (it was a hunting camp, but I went during off season), the roof was a tin one and rain made you feel like you were inside of a drum LOL yet, if it was a gentle rain, we'd use the bed pan then the pitter patter of the rain would "sing us to sleep". Happy times they were...
