I can do a pretty passable imitation of the switch-on-and-cogitate sounds effects for Orac.

Utterly futile in tex: !RRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Is there enough current to make it worth replacing one or more LEDs with small pager motors?

Stand the whole thing on wire legs, and it would twitch or jiggle as well as flash.

(Oh, and flashy circuits look good inside translucent covers.  This would be impressive inside a sea urchin.)

How much current would the motor consume? i think it would be possible and was a great idea to make it a kind of vibrobot...
