Hey Riverswamp. First, it is important to think of why you're doing. If you're just doing it to document some of your projects and share what you've made, then just do what you enjoy doing. If you're looking to bring in clients, you'll need to develop content that people looking for props would search for, or would see as giving you credibility. Think about the keywords people you want to attract might use. Asking friends and people in your industry can help to discover these things. That said, I think the best question to ask yourself is, "is this content shareable?" If you write something that people find interesting and engaging, they'll want to share it on social media and that will bring people to your blog. Think, if you share it on reddit, will it get upvoted. I'd also recommend throwing in some photos to each blog post. There are a number of Instructables about taking quality photos, so follow one of those so that you catch people's eyes as soon as they land on your page.

Honestly if I saw a list of blogs I wouldn't click on yours because of the name. I suggest you come up with a new name that describes more about what you want the blog to be about. I keep picturing undead deer taxidermy. If you are trying to make money you need to post a lot more often like daily/weekly. If you are doing a project show the progress with pictures.

I have a blog and I'm pretty sure my mother doesn't even read it. If you are like me and don't plan to ever make money then don't worry about it. Do it because you enjoy doing it. This is my blog if you want to know my page views up to two for the month! http://mats-notes.blogspot.com/

Hmmm, I guess there is a niche market for zombie deer props.

You have to figure out that you need to browse the archive for any props.

yeah there is a prop market. but zombie deer props might have not been the right name. people will just associate it with zombies.
